I took my car to the dealer for the recalls. They are basically only putting a band aid on the issue. They are telling me they did both recalls but it didn't fix the issue. Klaben in Kent Ohio. They basically did just a flash on it but that didn't fix the issue (LOSS OF CRANKSHAFT POSITION). Everything I read said the reluctor wheel needs replaced and they are telling me the vehicle is too old and won't fix. This is all part of the recall. If you have any questions please call me. • Component/System: The high-voltage battery system in the plug-in hybrid propulsion system is subject to an active safety recall related to potential fire risk. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. • Safety Risk: The manufacturer has instructed owners not to charge the vehicle near structures and to park it away from buildings due to the risk of battery fire. This creates an ongoing safety concern because normal charging and garaging cannot be performed safely, altering how and where the vehicle can be operated and stored. After speaking with my homeowners insurance, if the home were to catch fire through this vehicle, the claim would be denied because there is an active recall stating not to charge the vehicle. • Reproduction/Confirmation: The condition has been confirmed by the manufacturer through the official recall notice. The dealer has not attempted a repair because no remedy is currently available. Despite visiting the dealer, the dealer still states not to charge the car in the house. • Inspections by Others: The vehicle has not required inspection by police or insurance representatives. The issue is acknowledged by the manufacturer as part of the recall, and no repair procedure has been released to dealers. • Warning Lamps/Symptoms: There were no specific warning lamps prior to receiving the recall notice. The issue was identified by the manufacturer and communicated through recall notification rather than a driver-observed failure. The recall notice is the first indication of the problem.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V576000 (Electrical System) and NHTSA Campaign: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the message "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable”, “Fuel and Oil Refresh in Progress" were displayed; however, the messages disappeared after the vehicle was shifted into drive(D). The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the battery pack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts shipping issues. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,090.

The heater on our 4 x e stopped working and would not defrost front window or heat the car in sub zero weather we have been having lately. I have had this car in 2 times already for the same issue. I fear for my wife's safety while driving this car as it can not defrost the front window due to heat not working. I have an apt on 2/16/2026 for a computer dump and fear another $370 bill for something that appears can not be fixed. I re-booted the computer as it recommended on the internet, but it only worked a small time. I have 3 Grand Cherokees and am very disappointed with this one as the other 2 have over 280,000 miles on them. Regretfully, [XXX] [XXX] . On February 8, 2026, I attempted to use the windshield washer fluid, but no fluid came out onto the windshield. Instead, it forcefully sprayed the front camera. The washer system did not spray the front windshield or the rear window at all. The car is in the shop for repair. A video of this issue is on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7I1wG2UjrU

I was rolling up to a red light. The jeep shut down on a main road. The battery light, ABS, and power saver mode went on. The power steering shut off and then the car shut off. I was unable to move the vehicle. I wait 5 minutes then started the car again and got it rolled into the nearest parking lot

The jeep will randomly lose cabin heat and blow cold air. It seems to happen mostly when the battery is drained. Took it to dealer but they tried to say it was normal which we stated it can’t be normal to not be able to defrost your windshield in the winter. I called mopar and they opened a case which then the dealer said they had luck changing a coolant valve that tends to stick. Not sure if that will fix issue or have seen people have luck with the ECH. It happened at 36000 miles

5.7L Hemi Engine fire. The primary cause was a wire harness retention clip failure that allows the starter wiring harness to lay on the steering column. As it turns, it cuts into the harness and provides battery voltage to the steering column. In my case, there was a power steering fluid leak combined with the electrified steering assembly started a fire. Any similar combustible fluid would have the same result. It may be a potential recall that should be investigated. VIN 8C244809. Incident occurred on 1-28-26. I have video footage of the issue if needed.

The contact was asked if the battery had recently drained completely. The contact stated that the battery had not been drained. The contact stated that several recall repairs had been performed on the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and was concerned about the safety of the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 76,000.

- #11716702February 9, 2026SUSPENSION
Over the past year, I've noticed a suspension-related squeak - increasing in frequency - coming from the rear of my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited vehicle. I brought this to the attention of the Jeep dealer service dept where I purchased the vehicle, as well as to another independent auto repair shop, and both indicated they could not find anything wrong. Today, I saw news on the internet of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited "rear coil spring" issue as described in this Safety Recall report [XXX] and now believe the noise I've been hearing may be related to this recall. Frequently, my vehicle would not start. It would crank for a lengthy period of time but the engine would not turn over to start. Internet searches show that this is a widespread, known problem with Chrysler vehicles, yet only a small number of recalls have been issued. Unfortunately, my vehicle does not fall under the recall for unknown reasons. I have been advised that the fuel pump and auxiliary fuel pump need to be replaced, which is a costly repair. A fuel pump should not fail on a vehicle with under 50,000 miles on it.

Driver's steering wheel airbag malfunctioned and deployed unexpectedly while backing into a parking space. Safety of passengers through potential of bodily injury and car crash due to lack of sight and sudden explosion/deployment of airbag while car is actively being driven could have been causedby this malfunction. Various incidents of this safety issue have been reported, but no recalls have been officiated yet for this specific year and model. Vehicle has not inspected yet, it just occurred this morning. Insurance was notified, but said it needed to be inspected by a mechanic or dealership. Airbag light came on today for the first time while driving home and then airbag malfunctioned/deployed while parking.

- #11716392February 7, 2026EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Car has 28k miles. It is driven by a [XX] year old. It is a Jeep GC Summit which is top of the line for Jeep. Both headlights were blown and the dash warning system never alerted that the lights were out. Car is equipped with the headlight monitoring system. She never drives at night so I cannot give you an exact date but we think it has been out since 2024 which is the last Texas inspection it had and passed. Contacted Jeep Wave with concern and was blown off and sent to a VM which was never returned. You have a recall for the Laredo and Overland models but not the Summit. The DRL lights thankfully are bright but you still need headlights. Car has been set to auto for headlights due to her age. I am hoping you give this a serious look. I posted on Facebook and other people are having the same issues with the Summits. You have no headlights and nothing saying they are out.
