Second row seatbelts unlatch unexpectedly while car in motion. Seatbelt sensor alarms go off even when seatbelt latched. This has happened in all 3 rows in separate instances. Seatbelt alarm will sound and panel indicates seats with nobody in them have seatbelts that should be latched. This has occurred when an object (like a purse on the passenger seat) or no object on the seat.

Passenger from seatbelt has always been hard to get to engage and clip and would sometimes come undone while driving. Now the drivers side front is coming undone while driving even after assuring it’s secure before driving. Rear ones are now having same issue. I took it to the dealer and they said they needed replacement but not under warranty even though it has always been an issue. I didn’t report it before the warranty expired but it has gotten much much worse and is totally unsafe to drive if it comes undone while driving. How is it supposed to work in an accident?

The seat belt on second row of Palisade Hyundai 2022 does not latch all the time, and it is a safety issue. Keeps happening on and off since I bought the vehicle. Dealer doesn’t want to fix it, as when they test it 2 it works.

Shock failure within 33,000 miles. Going over bumps at higher speeds causes some loss of control of the vehicle. Dealer confirmed the issue with the shock upper insulator. No one else has inspected this at this time. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms. When driving at any speed bumps on the road cause very bumpy ride. Dealer states Hyundai's TSB 22-SS-001H has been rescinded. Shocks failed within 33,000 miles. No remedy for knocking and rattling noise in rear of vehicle caused by shock mounts. This seems to be the cause of the shocks failing prematurely.

Front driver and passenger as well as second row driver and passenger seat belts have spontaneously unbuckled while we are driving- several times. No one was injured but it puts myself and my family at a huge safety risk. We have almost stopped driving it because we fear the belts will not hold up should an accident of some sort happen. There were no warnings before it happened any time. The second row seatbelt warning light did come on after seat belts unbuckled. This has been going on since November 2024.

I am having problems with the seatbelt buckles in the second and third row seats, either not buckling to begin with (the seatbelt will not latch), or the seatbelt spontaneously unbuckles while I am driving. It is an intermittent problem, the seatbelts sometimes work but sometimes don't work. I took my car in to my local Hyundai service center for this problem in 5/2024 and the technician was able to replicate the problem in the 2 second row seats and both buckles were replaced. The seatbelts all worked well until about a month ago and now I am again having the same problems with intermittent spontaneous unlatching of the seatbelts in the 2 second row seats and one of the third row seats. I took my car in to my local Hyundai dealership on [XXX] and unfortunately the technician was not able to replicate the problem that day. My local dealership (McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, CO) refused to try to fix the problem this time, and a complaint filed with Hyundai of America (case #[XXX]) has resulted in similar inaction--since the technician could not replicate the problem that day, they tell me there is nothing to be done. I am concerned that spontaneously unlatching seatbelts (in the seats my children sit in) are unlikely to work properly to restrain them in the case of a car accident. Purchased car new on 01/10/2025. Drove across country to my home without any problems. At 3300 miles, on 02/21/2025, I was entering circular freeway onramp when a horizontal crack about 6 inches long in windshield suddenly appeared midway up on driver's side. No object observed striking glass either visually or audibly. After parking, crack was in outer glass layer with no indication of impact damage, such as spider cracking. Small glass fragments flaked off in area where glass crack originated. Crack has continued expanding horizontally to about 18 inches as of this writing. Crack is in direct line of driver's vision creating distraction. Structural integrity of the glass is now in question. Appears to be a stress induced crack. Due to recent crack, windshield has not yet been inspected by professionals but is available for inspection. Mild temperature in the high 50's and no rapid temperature changes. Car has Heads Up Display (HUD) which I understand has a different windshield from non-HUD models.

The passenger side 2nd row seatbelt will randomly become unlatched while driving the vehicle. This happens despite checking to be sure it has clicked/locked into place at the start of the drive, and has happened repeatedly at random times. This began happening in January 2025 and has occured about 6 times since. I just scheduled a Hyundai service repair for 02/28/25.

Auto-off reengaging makes the steering wheel jerk abruptly to the side and creates loud thinking noise which is startling to the driver. I was able to replicate at the dealer and have it on video. Dealer reports this is normal for the vehicle and they are unable to rectify.

1. The paint (all the way down to the metal), in more than 3 spots, has started peeling off. 2 spots are about 2 feet each, so about 4 feet in total of missing paint. The silver on my rims has also started to peel off. 2. Paint has peeled off in large chunks which is unsafe. 3. The paint has been seen by service technicians at Autonation, where I bought it from and service at a Hyundai dealership. 4. I have not filed a claim with insurance yet as it was recommended by both Autonation and the dealership that it is a manufacturer defect and needs to be fixed by them. They both stated I could pay to have it repainted but it would just start chipping again since it is a manufacturer defect. The primer on the entire car was not applied properly so the paint is not sticking, hence why the paint has peeled all the way down to the metal. Just before I bought it, the paint had peeled on the hood and Autonation repainted it back in October of 2024 and the paint has started peeling in the same spot as of February of 2025. The 2 spots that have 2 feet of paint gone happened all in one day back in Decmeber 2024. No wreck, no damage to the car, I just walked out after driving it and paint was gone. 5. Both Autonation and the dealership said they had never seen anything like this and this is a manufacturer defect 100%. No one wants to touch it since they have all claimed it will just peel again and I'll be right back in the shop a month later.

driving in parking lot towards exit to turn onto street. speed approximately 10 - 15 mph. I applied the brakes when approaching the stop sign at the intersection. The brakes shuddered hard and the vehicle did not slow or stop. I let off the brakes and immediately hard pressed the brake peddle to attempt to stop the vehicle before entering the intersection and on coming traffic. The vehicle then stopped with the nose of the vehicle in the intersection. The brakes failed again. This was the 2nd time today I had an issue. The road surface was dry and the temp was in the 60's. There was no impact/contact with any other vehicle, but it was once again very close to having a wreck. The vehicle was at Hyundai for almost 90 days for the same issue late last year and into 2025. Hyundai repeatedly said there was a software update coming, but that never happened and they ultimately said there was no issue, no update, and come get the vehicle. I will be taking the vehicle back to Hyundia today. There are "NO" warning lights, faults, or any other indicator of a failure.
