Today my 19 year old daughter was driving and her car just died in the middle of the road. And it wouldn’t start back up. It finally did start and she was able to pull over out of traffic. This is a huge safety issue and about the 20th time this has happened to my daughter. It is maybe even happen more. I fill out one of these reports every time and I don’t feel like my voice is heard or that anybody cares. One of these times somebody is going to hit my daughter and I hope she doesn’t die due to an accident. This is a huge safety issue and I know there is a safety recall on fuel pumps. Just not my daughter‘s model. She needs this fuel pump fixed and replaced and Honda needs to pay for it. Every other 2020 Honda has a fuel pump recall except my daughter’s model and I think that this issue happening about 20 times warrants a recall. Would Honda rather fix the fuel pump or have somebody get into a serious accident because they didn’t. We don’t have the money to just buy another car or pay to get it fixed as it is expensive and I know that other cars are being fixed for free under the recall. If this is the wrong site to to bring this issue forward and have something be done please somebody let me know so I can address the correct people. Like I said I have filled this out about 20 times and nobody has ever contacted me or got back to me.

- #11630243December 11, 2024FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
I rented this car. The adaptive cruise worked great in the daytime, but when it got dark and started to rain, the system started to lose its ability to detect other vehicles. Instead of disabling itself like it should have, the system continued to operate. It often would detect vehicles intermittently, speeding up and slowing down randomly and abruptly. The worst incident was when I was behind an unloaded flatbed semi (again, it was dark and raining.) The car lost track of the semi and accelerated to my set speed. As I got closer, but not THAT close, the car suddenly thought I was much closer than I was and initiated automated emergency braking. It then lost sight of the semi and repeated this cycle a few more times before I turned off cruise control. There was no one behind me, or this could have been a serious accident. I looked in the owner's manual to see how to disable the system and was appalled to see that it uses a single camera instead of a radar. This is obviously unsafe in bad weather, and the system did not disable itself appropriately.

Safety recall #23V-858 received through USPS indicating that parts are now available at dealership. Not true. On 12/04/24 vehicle was serviced at Conicelli Honda, 1200 Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428. 610-832-1400. Service advisor advised that the safety recall parts are not available for installation. On 12/05/24 a follow up call received from the service manager indicated that Conicelli Honda has not received any safety recall parts since the notice was announced. There appears to be a disconnect between Corporate Honda and the dealership. Your attention with this matter is greatly appreciated. - #11629866December 10, 2024SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
Unusual behavior with the "Driver Assistance System", specifically CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) and RDMS (Road Departure Mitigation System) warning messages appear too frequently. The first time this error appeared was when driving home from the lot after purchasing the vehicle (Bought at 56 miles). After the first appearance I've seen this error appear ~60% of the time when driving OR idle (these errors stay on then disappear within ~3 seconds of it appearing). My vehicle was inspected by the purchase dealer's service personnel, but they claim that there is no error logs recorded on the car's s and they could not replicate the error. At their direction I have since brought back the vehicle to monitor for the errors again so I can bring it back to the dealer for them to try to replicate this error again... I am aware of the CMBS issue with Honda vehicles up to 2022. I am very sad and surprised that the 2025 vehicles also have this issue. I have not YET randomly braked on the freeway (thank god) but I am fearful that my vehicle is next because Honda says they cannot find an issue currently. After noticing the frequent appearance of the warnings, I began documenting the warnings to the best of my ability with photos. To be safe I am unable to document the photo while driving so I am only able to take the pictures on the occasion when I am in the passenger seat when my wife is driving. I have attached two instances of when these errors pop up, one instance at 192 miles Parked, and one instance later driving at 35 MPH at 196 miles. Unfortunately, due to my misplaced faith in Honda, I was unable to document the previous warnings, but I will try my best to safely document all future ones. Please NHTSA, investigate further into this and pressure Honda to fix these vehicles. There will be more accidents and deaths if they are not held accountable. I am stuck with the vehicle, unable to purchase another one. I hope We Honda owners will be safe.

On January of 2024 I received a letter from Honda informing me that my vehicle was affected by a recall regardimg a seat sensor of the airbag. I contacted the dealership to get the recall fixed because my vehicle is used for a car rental business and with the recall I am not able to operate the vehicle for rental purposes. I was told by my local dealer that if my dash oard light is not on they cannot fix it. I called several times for several months, the last time being today, December 09, 2024. Basically, I received the letter to notify me of tje recall, bit the dealer will not fix it. The recall description is provided below. Two components failed safety inspection: 1. replace steering wheel assembly. Steering gear is faulty. 2. Alignment- 4 wheel alignment- required with steering gear replacement. Yes, available for inspection upon request. Diagnostics ran 12/9/2024. This is a repeat problem as this occurred in 1/2023, as well. Safety concern: I am a single mom and three instances while my child was in the vehicle the car has self corrected it’s steering towards other vehicles in traffic. Yes, problem has been reproduced. Both codes received from service center 12/2/2024 and diagnostics ran by dealer 12/9/2024 (first available appointment.) Honda dealership has diagnosed (can provide documentation) and Honda Corp has been made aware of this 12/3/2024 initial contact to NHTSA & Honda Corp with suspected issue and called both 12/9/2024 with confirmation upon receipt of diagnostics. This occurred in January 2023 and the entire steering system was replaced. Upon replacement the issue has not acted up again until around 11/29/24. The replacement did not make a full two years before reoccurring failure.

It's been a year and my dealership still does not have the part needed to fix the issue from the recall on my vehicle. I do not feel safe operating my vehicle and this is my only means of transpiration. I rely on my car to get me to work and everywhere else.

I began to experience 'sticky steering' before reaching 90k miles on my vehicle. At its worst, the steering issue would cause the driver to overcorrect when attempting to overcome the notch in the steering while simply trying to stay in the center of a lane on the interstate. Because it is a steering issue I had the vehicle inspected at a cost of $236.34, at which time it was recommended that the eps rack and gearbox be replaced at a cost of over $3000 dollars. I declined at that time and went back to my home dealership where the repair was done at a cost of $2055. The rack and gearbox were faulty and the service manager affirmed that it was a known issue on these models, but that Honda had yet to do a recall even though they have done recalls on later models.

I have 2 recalls due to the steering of the car. Ive called honda corporate and local dealerships in my area and no one has a estimate for when the parts will come in for the recall. I have had extreme difficulty steering the car on a daily bases. Ive been involved in near accidents and the car is truly unsafe to drive. One of the dealerships i contacted which is gillman honda north in houston informed me that they do not provide loaner cars. I just need this issue fixed promptly. I have been having a steering issue with the car since march of 2024.

Steering sticks to one side, especially at highway speeds. For example, if you're going around a left hand curve, you can let go of the wheel and the car will continue turning left. When changing the steering direction at highway speeds, especially to maintain lane position, the steering initially has high resistance, then seems to suddenly release and the vehicle darts to the side. Confirmed that no driver assist was active when seeing this behavior. Have not taken it in to be examined, no warning lamps or messages.
