Problem started when leaving parking lot. The car started pulling to right. Hard to turn to left. Then the problem stop car will drive normal for a little ways then all of a sudden it will pull to right. Just took it to Honda did the recall on battery and steering to day. Car still has steering issues. It will drive normal for a little ways then all sudden pull to the right. Have to make sure to have a good grip on the steering wheel at all the time. I know if I hit a bump or turn to the right the steering issue will start most of the time. So time turn left problem goes away. But know when it will come and go. Driving 20 minutes may come and go 5 times or may stay pulling to right the hold time. I would not drive the car on interstate or high speed with this issue not safe. It probably not safe to drive at all because you never know when the car going to pull hard to the right.

Transmission keeps malfunctioning from 1-2 and 2-3 gear shifts. Mainly prominent on the 2-3 gear shift having issues. Severe transmission jerk and sometimes slams into the next gear. This has been happening since I bought the car at 52k miles and it is currently at 62k miles. It can be available for inspection upon request. It also jerks on downshift. The transmission fluid has been drained and filled with Honda genuine atf 2.0 but the issue still persists after the service. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer. It has put my safety at risk because in low speed traffic my speed is unpredictable and I am worried of hitting a car in front of me. It is also an issue for vehicles behind me as well because the vehicle cannot find the gear and doesn't accelerate properly. When it slams into the next gear it seems to be a severe safety hazard for me and my passengers.

Headgasket seems to be forming a leak. Checked coolant today, zero leaks on coolant system but coolant was extremely low. It is sad to see that Honda has become so unreliable.

I was driving on the freeway and all of a sudden my vehicle didn’t want to accelerate. It began to jerk violently when I would press the gas to accelerate, but my car couldn’t go the speed limit & vehicles behind me almost collided with my car. I then took my car to service and told them what happened and they said my fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The service advisor at the Honda service department that the fuel injectors fail early on the type of Honda accord I have. That it is a known issue for those model for the injectors to fail. I even took it to an independent shop and he also confirmed the injectors are bad. The first time it happened was in December & I got a flashing check engine light, but after that the light didn’t appear. Until 12-31-2025 the check engine light fully came on. Prior to the failure there were no warning lights. If Honda knows there is a known problem on the fuel injectors why don’t they have a recall. It put mine & the lives of others in danger. Not to mention I was quoted over $2,000.00 from the Honda dealership for the repairs.

The vehicle experienced a catastrophic engine malfunction resulting in a no-start condition. The vehicle is currently inoperable and is available for inspection upon request. The engine failure caused the vehicle to lose power and become unreliable, creating a risk of breakdown while driving, which could have resulted in being stranded in traffic or an unsafe location and posed a risk to my personal safety and the safety of others. Yes. An independent repair facility confirmed the vehicle would not start and diagnosed the engine as failed. The vehicle was subsequently towed to another facility, where the condition was again documented. The vehicle has been inspected by independent repair facilities. The extended warranty company, Route 66, reviewed the claim and denied coverage based on their assessment. No inspection by the manufacturer or law enforcement has occurred. Prior to the failure, the vehicle exhibited warning indicators and operational issues, including overheating symptoms. These issues worsened over time and ultimately resulted in complete engine failure and a no-start condition.

I'm having symptoms of cold startup engine rattle type clatter sound for approximately 2-3 seconds and then it goes away. Doesn't do that again unless the car sits for a period of time. If it's been started recently like within 1 hour or 2 hours it will startup with out making that metal rattle/clatter sound for 2-3 seconds. I was told it's likely the 2.4l engine VTC actuator is failing letting the engine oil drain out causing a dry start. I was told it was a common issue and even the internet is saying the same thing that this is a widely known issue. There should be a recall for this because this should not be happening My car has only 156,000 miles on it. And I've own cars with well over 200,000 miles and that's never happened never had I had an engine problem related to the timing chain or the VVT system. I'm hoping this is a recall where will be soon because it's not affordable repair bill for many people. Please let this become a recall or whatever it's called to have the manufacturer take responsibility and fix the problem. I would have not had bought this vehicle if I was aware of this issue probably because it's not a low cost repair I was told. Otherwise this car is a great car runs good drives good once it starts and runs for a few seconds. It's only when the car sets for a period of time not running and you go just start it and you hear that rattle for 2-3 seconds. When I bought the vehicle it wasn't doing this at least not when I first bought it.

My vehicle started having issues with misfires approximately 2 years after I bought it in January 2020. I bought it new from the dealership in Salinas California. I took it to Morgan hill Honda for repairs. It’s had 2 misfires and I took it in for a Fuel pump recall. About 2 weeks later all my lights in my dash come on. I took it in to get looked at and they said it’s the turbo engine, $3k to fix it. I’ve had nothing but problems and it’s like a bandaid of a fix every time. The first time it happened I was merging onto highway [XXX] and it gave out and slowed down to 25MPH. I had to pull over to the shoulder almost caused an accident. ALL THE PANEL LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD LIT UP. HONDA SAYS I NEED NEW INJECTORS FOR ABOUT $2000. THE CAR ONLY HAS ABOUT 66,000 MILES. THEY ALSO SAY A NEED A NEW HEAD UNIT, FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. I HAVE HAD THREE OTHER HONDA ACCORDS BEFORE THIS, AVERAGING OVER 200,000 MILES. NEVER PROBLEMS LIKE THIS.

This is a second formal supplemental complaint. Vann York Honda sold this car as new, but a Honda America provided Carfax proved it was a prior personal use vehicle. The car has catastrophic phantom braking, causing a physical friction rash on my skin. Multiple witnesses are now afraid to ride in the car. The vehicle has suspension failures documented by irregular tire readings. Despite an active federal recall, Flow Honda refused mandated repairs. During a prior headliner repair, Flow Honda returned the car with a collapsed headliner and a Maintenance Minder A127 code. The oil life dropped from 45% to 5% without added mileage, yet I was told to drive it. Weatherstripping has been replaced. Recall work for seatbelt (which came apart) and fire risk in the engine. Manager Chris Moore falsely claimed a brake warning was merely a remote start issue. He has also shows a lack of understanding of the NC lemon laws. I have recorded complaints from well under 24,000 miles. Flow Honda held the car for four months, then claimed they did not know it was there. They sent a text acknowledging the recall but failed to perform it, trying to ship the car back to me to hide its 120-day neglect. The car has lot rot, tire rot, and an open battery exposed since [XXX]. My insurance company ignored warnings of retaliation and forced the car back to Flow Honda. They recorded a medical diagnosis of a panic attack on my paperwork without medical expertise and falsely claimed I requested a collision shop despite no collision occurring. This matter has reached my state representatives and the Governor. As a [XXX], this tax-exempt vehicle is a medical necessity. I am being denied federal safety repairs and discriminated against based on my sex, gender, and [XXX]. My first report to NSHTA was done March 2025. Honda head unit touch screen is glitching while driving. This causes my navigation system to shut down or freeze and then I am unable to use the touch screen entirely. The dealership has confirmed this as an issue that other people are experiencing as well.

I was turning into my parking space after work. The car suddenly showed every single alarm possible it started driving incredibly poorly at low speeds. I turned the car off. I let it rest for a minute. I turned it off and it was horribly slow, but it was able to pull it into the parking space. I did not call a tow truck at this time because the last time they towed into an impound lot and it took days to get it to the dealership. They tried to hold my car for ransom for thousands of dollars. This is a brand new vehicle has broken down multiple times. Honda is trying to externalize flame. The dealership takes no ownership of their faulty merchandise

At first they said I needed a new battery. Thats why all the sensors were going off. I got a new battery and the sensors keep going on and off intermittently. The sensors going off are; hillside, steering assist, brake, brake system, tpms, and collision. It will clear and work for a day or 2 and then come back.

2013 Honda Accord with proper Maintenance and oil changes on time burns oil since few years despite its a low mileage car with total 69000 miles. I see online a lot people facing same issues with Honda oil burning complaints in 2013 to 2017 Accords and others. But never recieved any Recall or Technical Service Bulletin from honda to get this problem addressed. In fact spoke to Honda customer service and they said we can't do anything about it as your car VIN is not from affected models. They gave me case # 166116613 but no help. I need help from NHTSA. I took my car to dealership before Christmas on December 23rd and they gave me inspection report with no signs of any kind related to engine.

2016 Honda Accord- The audio navigation unit creates loud screeching noise even when volume is turned down to 0, making the car impossible to drive. I had to remove the fuse to disable the unit which also resulted downing the car backup camera as the whole display unit went down. I placed order in July 2025 and got delivering of back order unit in Dec 2015 after 6 months of wait. Repeatedly, keep sending emails to Honda as its a security risk if I have to drive the car w/o a mandatory backup camera. But still replacement/ back order took 6 months. Total cost of replacement of new Audio Nav unit - $1700. Asking honda to reimburse since as per Honda internal notes which dealership shared/ Google its a common problem with Honda accord 2016-2017. Honda saying right now there is no safety recall as per NHTSA for this and wont support the claim. Reporting so that other drivers dont have to put themselves into risk due to this and bear the high cost of repairs, if NHTSA deems it fit.
