Technicians investigating this issue may find one or more Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from B200FF0 to B200FF5 stored as static faults in the J775 suspension control unit.

If one or more of the B200FFx DTCs are stored in the J775 control unit, the following steps should be performed:

1. Unplug the diagnostic connector from the vehicle.
2. Switch off the ignition.
3. Lock the vehicle (ensuring doors, hood, and rear lid are closed).
4. Wait until the vehicle enters bus sleep mode.
5. Unlock the vehicle.
6. Plug the diagnostic connector back into the vehicle.
7. Switch on the ignition.
8. Attempt to erase the stored DTCs.

If the DTCs remain static after these steps, a specific procedure involving a virtual replacement of the J775 control unit (diagnostic address 0074) must be performed. This is done without physically replacing the control unit.

Should the DTCs still persist as static faults even after the virtual replacement, technicians must then follow the instructions provided in the Guided Fault Finding (GFF) system.

• "If the DTCs in question are still logged as static, please perform a virtual replacement of the J775 (diagnostic address 0074), without actually replacing the control unit."
