I saw [XXX] on Twitter recommending a woman put her children or dogs inside his cars with overheat protection on however I have been recording and reporting this fatal error for several months and they have NOT corrected it. The car has overheat set at 100F I routinely screenshot the car reaching 130F (assuming the cars thermometer is even accurate) this is hot enough to kill basically ANY living thing. My baby, dead. Dog, dead. It was only 82F outside so I'm going to call BS on the 'tempered glass' that 'repels over 90% heat' the car is a fishbowl/greenhouse. So if my car doesn't kill me, my family and those around me 'Full Self Driving' it will kill your kids and pets while you run errands because you trusted a melomaniac. And if that doesn't kill you everyone who hates [XXX] and Tesla will routinely bully you on the road too because apparently there isn't a single person in ALL of the entire USA government who isn't a total puppy for [XXX]. Not to mention Tesla just awarded some hackers $350,000 and a new car for hacking a model 3's radio to take over the car when I've been reporting this exact exploit to NHTSA and FBI for months. Many times my car has played insulting music and not allowed me to change it, the car often driving with a mind of its own towards fatal crashes that would kill me if I didn't disengage every 2 minutes (that's being generous when not on a highway). "YOU [XXX] [XXX] I AINT [XXX] WITH YOU!" "IVE GOT A MILLION OTHER THINGS I'd RATHER [XXX] DO, THAN BE [XXX] WITH YOU; LITTLE [XXX]! I DON'T GIVE A [XXX]!" I have all this on video. Tesla harassed me when I reported it to them. The first photo is this month the second photo is in August last year. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

- #11514501March 29, 2023SUSPENSION, WHEELS, STEERING
I was backing up from the parking lot and heard a clank. I immediately got out to check what happened and saw that the suspension had completely detached itself from the wheel (see pictures). The wheel immediately started to go sideways. If I was on the highway or on the road this would have 100% caused an accident and quite possibly my life. Tesla says there is no recall and is blaming the problem on me. If this isn't recalled and fixed on other Tesla models, this will cause a crash and serious injury or even death to the driver/passengers and other drivers. This is a major safety issue and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I am lucky, but others may not be. I don't know why there was not a recall. Tesla needs to take responsibility.

- #11514321March 28, 2023SEAT BELTS
This concerns the front seat belts in the car. I am just over five feet tall. Even with the seatbelt adjusted to the lowest position on the door post, the anchor point for the shoulder portion is six inches above my shoulder. This occurs on both sides of the vehicle, driver and passenger front seats. The seat belt runs across the left side of my neck when in the driver's seat, with the seat appropriately adjusted for my stature. If I raise the seat any higher I won't be able to reach the accelerator and brake pedals. Anyone who isn't tall would have this problem in the car. I'm concerned for my safety in a possible vehicle crash. I have recently reported this to Tesla Motors. No warning lights or messages are given in the vehicle for this problem.

Hi, I just read the news about NHTSA on Model X pretensioner recall and found my Model Y may have the same issue. The seatbelt hold on the driver's seat is extended a lot compared to the passages seat.

The contact owns a 2021 Tesla Model Y. The contact stated while driving approximately 75 MPH with the "auto pilot" and the "cruise control" functions engaged, the vehicle made an emergency stop. The contact stated that the force of the emergency braking had thrown him forward into the seat belt. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to disengage the auto pilot and cruise control and continued his trip. The contact stated that the emergency or "phantom braking" had become a recurring failure. The contact scheduled a remote service for the vehicle and an over-the-air software update had been performed. The vehicle had been repaired. The contact stated that the failure continued after the software update. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.

- #11514136March 28, 2023SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I have seen this happen on several occassions during my trip from Austin,TX to Lubbock, TX. I out the car on Cruise Control and the car has applied emergency brakes suddenly several times even when there is no cars or other obstacles around. Even after I tried disabling the "Automatic Emergency Braking" feature, I am still facing this issue on several occasions. I have taken 2 trips so far in the past 2 months from Austin to Lubbock (about 360 miles one way) and I ahve decided the car is not at all reliable for me. I am even considering trading-in the car for another brand. This is real safety hazard.

- #11514106March 27, 2023VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
On Saturday, 3/4/2023, I stopped at a supercharger lot to charge my car during a trip. As I entered the lot, I noticed that the road conditions were poor, almost like a gravel road. To be cautious, I drove slowly towards the three empty parking spaces in the middle of the lot, intending to park in the middle spot. I noticed that the road conditions were even worse in front of the parking spot, but it looked wide and not too deep, so I didn't think it warranted serious concern. I carefully maneuvered the car around to prepare for backing up. I've been using the HOLD braking mode, which allows for one-pedal driving, for more than five months. Just as I lifted my foot off the accelerator, the car jerked forward from a small pothole. I still expected the car to come to a stop, as my foot wasn't touching the pedal. I made a comment to my passenger that I was puzzled why the car was still moving as I looked down at my foot far above the pedals. Suddenly, there was a really loud sound (like revving if I remember correctly) that I had never heard before, which surprised both me and my passenger. We exchanged a puzzled look just as the car suddenly jumped forward at full power and hit the car in front of us before I could do anything to stop it. I believe that this was a software issue related to overcompensation of losing traction control on both sides as the car came to a stop. It's important to note that I did not purchase Tesla's Full Self Driving and was not using any driving assistance features at the time of the accident. In addition, I believe you can request more data from Tesla. I do not have access to the camera recording of interior scene. Luckily, both me and my passenger as well as the two people in the front seats in the other vehicle (also same white Tesla Model Y) were not injured. I can't get Tesla insurance to even investigate the accident. After the accident, I noticed that the Tesla App reported that Automatic Emergency Brake is disabled (only occur)

- #11514099March 27, 2023VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Repeated random breaking when in cruise control or auto steer. It is available for inspection upon request. Car abruptly stopped on busy road at 60 miles per hour more than once. Slows on expressway repeatedly, which can potentially cause loss of control or being hit from behind. Vehicle has not been inspected for this issue. There have been no warnings of the problem prior to the failure. This problem has happened the entire time I’ve owned the car, especially, but not only, when driving on freeways.

- #11513872March 26, 2023FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
The adaptive cruise control system routinely applies the brakes when there is no lead traffic on a completely open highway. I’ve had multiple instances where the car decelerated from 75 to 45 mph before I could react and press the accelerator to correct the state. During these events, the car does not indicate any type of emergency warning (no forward collision warning, no emergency braking warning). This poses enough of a safety risk to cars behind me that I will no longer use Tesla’s adaptive cruise control feature.

Same issue I've been reporting several months. This morning I downloaded yet another software update, got in my car, drove to Chick-fil-a on a Sunday because Tesla has not fixed this fatal braking bug on the highway for a non-existent round-a-bout so I use that for the car to navigate to. The car tries to get on the state road instead of the highway so I cancel and take over and drive onto the highway/expressway myself. After a couple miles the FSD finally takes over in a 70mph zone and reduces my speed to 45mph and stays at 45mph while passing several 70mph signs it clearly sees in its own 'Tesla vision' on the map in AR(Augmented reality). I cancel and speed back up to 70 before the next overpass where the car puts its hazards on, pulls into the slow lane, says it's executing a round-a-bout. Comes to a complete stop on the highway with hazards while in the travel lane, cars whipping past me on the driver side. Then the car starts yelling at me to grab the wheel which I've never let go of during this entire event so I shake the wheel vigorously left and right and the car does not process that I'm holding the wheel (This is so Tesla can commit fraud when they blame it on the driver and buy more time because NHTSA rules aren't up-to-date on software patches and NHTSA needs to just recall all FSD because Tesla has displayed inability to repair) THEN to add the cherry on top while the car is stopped on the highway, yelling at me to pay attention while I'm shaking the wheel; I press the door open button and my door opens into the fast lane; allowing the (inattentive driver) to unconsciously fall onto the highway in the fast lane at 0mph while not in drive. I have been reporting these vulnerabilities for months specifically the bluetooth radio vulnerability that was just proven in a hacking competition where Tesla awarded a new car and $350,000 for a vulnerability I was reporting 6 months before. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11KURZKFfS4axS21PqYd_urDZLcHTuOzP/view

The adaptive cruise control slammed the brake when driving over a highway overpass. Tesla slammed the brake from 75 mph to 50 mph. Luckily there was no car behind. Clear sky around noon time.

While driving South on I75 near Tampa Florida using Autopilot the car suddenly decelrated to 10mph. There were no cars next to me and we were passing through a 6 lane area where the road splits. No distinguishing features, no cars on either side and we were heading slightly up hill. It seems like the cameras could only see the sky. Fortunately there was no car directly behind me. Very scary.
