STEERING
To my best assessment I was driving and while turning the steering wheel was like it was locked and then it loosen up.I made it home and the next morning cranked up foot on brakes a red circle light came on red ⚠️ saying steering needs serving.I have scheduled a diagnostic appointment.Not Pryor to me leaving the house on 4/4/2026 did I experienced this incident which put me and my family’s life in danger.Intermittently the steering wheel will turn.I thanked God he didn’t allow me to panic.

STEERING
The contact owns a 2013 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 25 MPH and making a turn, the message "Service Power Steering" was displayed. The vehicle lost power steering functionality and the vehicle almost crashed into a school bus. The driver veered into a ditch to avoid the crash. There was no injury sustained. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact was a master auto technician and diagnosed the vehicle. The contact determined that the power steering rack had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19E077000 (Steering); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 284,000.

SUSPENSION
On or around March 12 2026 The drivers front tire air suspension and compressor both went out causing tire to drop which meant it was rubbing the finder well it has been taken to a dealership and confirmed No warning lamps or warnings visible to me appeared on the truck just noticed the change in how it was driving and noticed the significant drop in tire

The contact stated that the company vehicle should not have to be parked for months while the manufacturer developed the remedy. The manufacturer was not contacted. The employer had not experienced a failure.

SERVICE BRAKES
Around 80k miles the ABS module went bad giving a C-2200-49 code and displaying the traction control light, abs light and red brake light illuminated. A new module is estimated at 6 months wait time, mine was ordered in September 2025 and just arrived in April 2026, my vehicle could not pass state inspection until the issue was fixed.

POWER TRAIN
The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while coming to a stop at a stoplight, after shifting into drive, the vehicle unexpectedly shifted into park and the electronic parking brake engaged unexpectedly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact continued driving after shifting the vehicle back into drive and releasing the electronic parking brake. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times; however, it was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 12,780.

Vehicle suddenly stalled and didn’t restart, showing low voltage, lights and gauges flashed erratically. This happened in 2024, brought to dealer, they advised no codes to diagnose issue. Happened again 4/1/2026, battery dead low voltage, had appointment at dealer and issue corrected on its on before appointment.

While driving at low speeds twice now my ram 1500 has stalled and engaged the parking break. Once coming to a stop and another time making a turn onto a road. Once I turn the truck back on there is a battery light on the dash and I’m allowed to drive to a safe place and restart the truck and the battery light goes away. Very concerned for my safety due to living next to a busy road.

SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I have a 2018 RAM 1500 Tradesman 2WD truck that the the ABS warning ligh as well as check engine, brakes warning light keeps staying on. I am very concerned about this as it may cause me to NOT be able to brake in time to. Also the cruise control does not work. I've taken it to several different mechanics as well as Autozone and I'm told the error code is C2200-49 which is the Anti-lock Brake Module Internal- Internal Electronic Failure. My mechanic has told me there is NO PART available and has been on back order for the past year. My only recourse is to locate one from a junk yard and hope that it will work. I've done an exhaustive on-line search and haven't been able to locate the module for my year and model truck through any RAM 'MOPAR' dealership. I've been on several different message boards and have been told there are thousands of trucks out there with this issues. Please, help us by making RAM do a recall on this vehicle. SERVICE BRAKES
Trailer Brake controller in vehicle does not work correctly. On the Radio, it is supposed to have brake type (heavy electric, heavy over hydraulic, light electric and light over hydraulic) and I am supposed to be able to save up to 4 trailers. Problem is I only get light electric only. I cannot change the brake type nor can I save the trailers. It is greyed out. I am scared to pull a trailer due to the brakes not working correctly or not working all together.

The EGR cooler bypass control broke on my pickup. The dealership stated that this is an ongoing issue with these pickups and that the 2019-2020 pickups had a recall on this. This pickup has 77,000 miles on it. This should not be failing.

Was driving on the road while it was raining outside. As I turned a corner my power steering suddenly dropped out mid turn. Was able to fight to get of the road. It was accompanied with a service power steering system light on my dash. I shut the vehicle off and restarted it. It drove fine for a short bit and again loss power steering. The power steering light came on along with service electronic brake system, service trailer brake system, and my traction control light on the dash also came on. I managed to get to my destination without power steering. I have no recalls on my truck for this. I did have 2 codes when I was able to communicate with the module being U0155 and C2128. Most likely caused by water getting into a connector and shorting out.

ABS light keeps coming on and off. The 4WD keeps going on and off and the cruise control and traction keeps working then not working. There is a recall for other year models for the ABS system that basically is exactly what’s happening with my truck. I am worried that it will go out and my truck will stop and cause and accident which almost happened today. This should be a recall alongside those other year models.

I was driving down Highway 16 in Texas between Fredericksburg and Kerrville when I heard a very loud noise and the panoramic window on my vehicle exploded. There were not any objects that came in contact with the window to cause it to break. Fortunately, the sunroof was closed and the inside cover was in the closed position so that glass did not cover me or the interior of the vehicle. This was a two lane highway and had I not had the sunroof covering in the closed position it could have resulted in a serious accident.

Heater Core Windshield fogging because of antifreeze fumes interfering with the HVAC Yes the issue has been confirmed by the dealer (Sansone Ram, NJ) I wasn't sure but kept smelling antifreeze in the cabin and the front windshield was interfering with my view in front of me. This Vehicle is a 2024 Ram 1500 with approx 46000 miles, just a little out of the basic warranty but this issue is not a wear and tear issue, way to early for this vehicle to have this kind of Problem.

Etorque and battery failure. Etorque was failing and coldbrook Mitsubishi said it was fine. 2 months later brought to Lee dodge/ram and told etorque bearing gone. By now 80k manufacturer warranty over 80k and not warranted despite me telling them before this mileage. This etorque should be recalled and paid for. This truck has been nothing but problems. I won’t buy anything from stelantis in the future!
