Service electronic braking system/ service antilock brake system, (ABS). My local dealership stated this is a nationwide known issue for the past three years with manufacture and supplier issue and that there is no no remedy or fix for this at this time.

Around 86,000 miles, a metallic like noise that one would associate with a worn bearing began within what i determine to be the E-torque MGU. Subtle at first, but you could tell something wasn't the same with the sounds you hear within the engine. Between then and my current 88,800 miles, the metallic sounds has gotten more aggressive, which is logical to assume that might happen if a bearing part is wearing down. Just today, 3/21/2025, an uncomfortable rattle sound and visible vibration of the MGU unit appeared suddenly, making me uncomfortable to drive the vehicle any further without immediate repair for fear of risking un-necessary damage to other critical engine componenets.

STEERING
My electric power steering rack has failed. The vehicle is very hard to steer and unsafe to drive. I know there was a recent recall affecting 1500 Rams which included my model year of 2014. But my VIN was excluded for some reason. I think the recall should be expanded to include my VIN, as the problem is exactly the same. I have not been in an accident with vehicle - it's just not safe to drive.

The contact stated that while inspecting the vehicle after a snowstorm, the contact became aware that a large pool of water had seeped into the vehicle from the rear doors. The contact stated there was no warning light illuminated. The contact stopped the vehicle and had not turned off the vehicle. The contact stated that it was difficult to turn the steering wheel to the left or the right. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the electric power steering assist had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. 150 amp fuse blew. Caused auxillary battery to die and the truck didnt start. Caused the check engine light to turn on and many features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, remote start, and auto start/stop didn't work. The manufacturer and dealer states that it's not a warrantied item. Thr 150 amp fuse connects both batteries

PARKING BRAKE
The contact owns a 2024 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing an unintended engagement of the electric parking brake on cold starts. The contact stated that upon attempting to disengage the parking brake, the parking brake disengaged after several attempts. The contact stated that the parking brake was disengaged after the vehicle had warmed up. The message "Service Parking Brake" was displayed, and the brakes warning light was flashing. Additionally, the contact stated that the message "Service Parking Brake" was flashing while the parking brake was not engaged, which caused the contact to be concerned that the parking brake could engage unintendedly while driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that a diagnostic test was needed; however, the vehicle rental assistance was denied. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 9,000.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle experienced various electrical failures that included the vehicle not starting, and the message "Key Fob not in vehicle" was displayed. Additionally, the check engine warning light activated along with the message engine overheating. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlight flashed off and on, and the parking brake erroneously activated, causing the vehicle to shut off in traffic. The vehicle was taken on several occasions to be serviced; however, the failure recurred. No further information was available. ABS module failed in July 2024 Subsequently, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, and Cruise Control are not operating. BRAKE light also remains lit on dash panel. ABS module is currently not available from Ram. Expected date is continually pushed further and further into the future. Meanwhile, truck is not able to operate at full, safety capacity.

While driving there is intermittent loss of power steering during a turn where at times it will be hard then easy to turn. While at highway speed it causes issue with maintaining your lane and in town making short turns can be hard. There is no warning before it happens and it's completely random.

My vehicle has had 2 starter replacements, 2 batteries replaced , 1 radiator replacement. 3 times at the dealership for clock spring repair. Exhaust system replaced because of bolt rusted parts. This vehicle is a built to serve edition and it hasn’t led up to its name. Without me paying for an extended warranty i dont know what would i would’ve done.Does this vehicle require for a buy back from the corporate headquarters

On 3/6/25 at 0520 hours, I 95 northbound in Stafford, VA. at mile marker 141 in left travel lane at approximately 75 mph the truck suddenly lost power slowing significantly. We pulled over onto the left shoulder as the truck slowed and stopped. The truck required shutting off the ignition and restarting the vehicle for it to operable. We had vehicles behind us slamming on brakes and quickly changing lanes in order to avoid hitting us. This truck has been checked by a dodge dealership for previous complaints of this occurring at lower speeds. Dodge dealership told us, there are no codes, no recalls ( only on V8) , we can note it in file but there is nothing else we can do. This is unacceptable and almost got us into a serious accident. There is something wrong with the etorque.
