ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I recently purchased the vehicle in May 2025. It was a dealer car from original purchase. One month after purchasing [June 2025] the vehicle the car would not start. I called in roadside assistance to jump start the car. I took the car to a Jeep dealership for servicing. They recommended replacing both batteries. They mentioned one of the batteries were not an original. This must mean the dealer who owned and sold me the vehicle was aware of the battery issue. In late July, little over one month the vehicle would not start. I call for roadside assistance again. I dropped vehicle with dealership. I called two days later, and they could not discover the problem. They suggested I leave the vehicle for up to three weeks. This would give them sufficient time to attempt to discover the cause of the battery drainage. This is the first time I am experiencing any short coming from purchasing a vehicle since I started purchasing cars. I am hoping a resolution has been discovered for the battery drainage issue for the 2024 Grand Wagoneer. The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The contact stated while driving at approximately 80 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the message "Shift to Park and Restart" was displayed. The contact was able to coast to the side of the roadway and shifted to park(P). The contact was able restart the vehicle and continued driving. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where the failure could not be duplicated; however, the failure recurred while driving. The message "ACC Disabled" was displayed, and the power steering warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle went into Limp mode and failed to exceed 15 MPH. The vehicle was taken to a different dealer, where the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 33,000.

The driver side sunvisor comes loose and dangles causing an unsafe driving condition. Dealership has repaired multiple times but it continues to happen. It is an inherent design flaw that is going to cause accidents and ultimately loss of life.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
While driving my 2023 Grand Wagoneer the Serv 4WD light and dash spelled out Service four wheel drive, it lit up the anti collision light, ECS, TCS, and HOLD!. The parking brake also engaged automatically while driving at least 4 times. This is a serious safety concern to allow a vehicle to continue driving with the ability to automatically engage the parking brake while driving. The safety of my entire family was put at risk. I currently have the vehicle sitting at the dealership to be diagnosed and reproduced as the vehicle lost all power after this incident. Another serious safety concern is the total loss of power with no notice. This could easily have been while I was driving and caused a serious accident and possible fatalities.

The vehicle warning indicator lights Electric Power Steering (EPS) fault light comes on and the vehicle becomes hard to steer while driving. The Stop/Start active light, Engine check/ malfunction light, service power steering light comes on and the vehicle shuts down when idling at a traffic light, the engine is automatically placed into park and has to be restarted by the driver. The vehicle is back in the shop for the third time for the same issues.

n early January 2025, we purchased 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L that began displaying check engine warnings and experiencing significant performance issues within the first week. The vehicle was brought into the dealership (Golling Jeep in Bloomfield Hills, MI) on multiple occasions—first on January 22nd and again on February 7, 2025—for drivetrain-related concerns, including rough idling, and warning lights. The vehicle was returned after temporary fixes, but the issues quickly recurred. On February 21, 2025, the vehicle was returned to the dealership and has remained there ever since. Despite repeated diagnostic and repair attempts over the last five months, the dealership has been unable to resolve the issue. As of July 2, 2025, their latest communication indicates that a complete engine replacement may be required. The symptoms included drivability issues and engine malfunction indicator lights. The vehicle’s reliability deteriorated to the point where we felt unsafe using it for family transportation, especially on highways or long trips. The issue has been inspected and repeatedly confirmed by certified dealership technicians. The vehicle is available for inspection. There were no reported accidents or injuries, but the repeated and unresolved engine issues present a clear risk to occupant safety and undermine vehicle performance. This ongoing situation has rendered the vehicle inoperable for over 150 days while under warranty, with no final resolution provided.

Our car is now having two issues: 1. The first issue is extremely scary, but we found a temporary work around so have been dealing with it for months as we needed are car. If the auto stop/start is not turned off (which has to happen ever time the car is started), the car essentially puts on an emergency break and shuts down the car at the first for second stop. This happened in the middle of a busy intersection the first time and happened numerous other times including while I was on the phone with the Jeep dealership. It is extremely dangerous as you can be stuck at a stop light in the middle of the road and the car has to be turned off and turned back on. We drive on [XXX] in michigan daily for work and it is a 55mph road with dozens of stop lights making this a huge safety hazard. I have seen numerous other people on a Jeep Wagoneer facebook page with the same issue. 2. The second issue is more recent, but has made the car un-drivable. While driving suddenly the "service fuel system" alert comes on with the check engine light flashing and the car feels like it is going to stall out, then it will regulate and the alert will go away, then it will come back a minute later. We immediately drove our car to the dealership as it was not drivable that way and they have had it for 3 weeks unable to find a fix. AIR BAGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Airbags failed to deploy in a front crash. Passenger side curtain air bags deployed, but none of the others deployed. The lane departure or lane keeping assistance did not work. The vehicle slowly swerved off of the highway with no safety features kicking in to help keep it on the road. No automatic emergency braking started. The vehicle was still going with the cruise control on following the collision. As of 3/20/2025 the vehicle is still available for inspection. This is the first report of this malfunction. The local sheriff was contacted following the accident. I do not have knowledge of who all has inspected the vehicle. There were no warnings or messages that the safety systems were not working. Yes, our safety was at risk. As the driver of the vehicle, I have broken my C2 vertebrae in my neck.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
While driving the vehicle(speed does not matter as this has occurred while standing at a stop light) all safety warning lights illuminate on the dash and render all of my safety features inoperative. This includes: ABS, Forward Collision Avoidance, Rear Collision Avoidance, and Park assist. Once this happens the vehicle becomes extremely difficult to operate and to stop. The remedy is to pull over, turn the vehicle off and open the drivers side door to shut off the RAC (Retained Accessory Control), let the vehicle sit for a minute or two, then restart the vehicle. All light will remain off and the car will function normally. This issue occurs at least 2-3 times per week and is extremely frustrating. I've taken the vehicle to the dealership several times for what they have determined to be a "software issue". Several trips have been for recalls, others have been for this issue and my Infotainment system going black. The Infotainment system going black is the second major issue with this vehicle. The dealership was able to get the system operating again with an additional software update, however it has not completely remedied the problem. The Infotainment system will still black out, but for only a quick second, then it comes back on. When it does this, I loose all settings including profiles and SiriusXM programmed stations. I've done a master reset on the Infotainment system and have had it back to the dealership, but it still has not been 100% resolved. This is a safety risk when it blacks out as I loose navigation, audio, and Bluetooth connectivity. Now my attention is not on the road but on the failed system. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled, and the engine overheated with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was restarted; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was restarted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 33,363.

The vehicle came to a screeching stop with no visible reason for doing so. Three cars behind me also had to come to an abrupt and dangerous stop to avoid me. I pulled out of my driveway, began to drive, reached 10 mph, then came to a full brake, causing tires to screech. The speed of traffic behind me was approx 25mph.

The interior radio and heat and air display brightness. The brightness changes independently of lighting stays on 15 min to long at dusk, come on 17 min to quick at dawn causing a blinding effect for the driver putting anyone in vehicle and other drivers at risk. Took to dealer twice first time they said all of wagoners operated like this second time they said it was a software programming issue. There is no warning when this happens just super brightness.

On Sunday, February 2nd we were driving down the highway when the front sunroof on my Wagoneer spontaneously exploded. Thankfully I had the shade closed, so it caught the broken glass. Had it been open, who knows what would've happened. There were no other cars around, no overpass...just us on the highway. The dealer has the vehicle now, but it doesn't sound like it will be covered under our warranty. However, when I google "my wagoneer sunroof exploded," there are tons of results of people having the same experience.

While driving my kids to school on the freeway I received an alert telling me that my engine was overheating! I was barely given any warning of the rising temperature to allow myself to pull over safely. It never informed me it was rising, only when it was redlined near the max engine temp to which I had to immediately find a place to pull over. I didn't have enough time to get to the next exit 1 mile away, and had to pull over in an unsafe area and turn the car off until the engine cooled down while cars whizzed by us. Once cooled down enough, I was able to drive 1 mile to the next freeway exit but had to immediately pull over again into a center median as it was again overheating very quickly. My local dealership came to get the car and took my kids to school and me home while they inspected it and found a failing thermostat and water pump. I have only had the vehicle for 9 months and it only has 15,800 miles! This should not happen, at all, on a $135,000 vehicle. I also happened to notice a failing battery (no audio warning of this) on the display while scrolling through the menu looking for the engine temperature! So a brand new car has a failing battery, thermostat and heat pump..... unbelievable.

ENGINE, SUSPENSION, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
We the dealership technician had the vehicle for a repair, he was driving it back-and-forth to work like he owned the car and one day He was leaving his home to go to work and the suspension failed so that had to be fixed and that was back on one of the many time it was in the shop. The stop/start engine doesn’t engage for me when I break for me. For me to get it to engage I have to slam on the break as if I was bracing for an accident and then the stop/star engine mode will engage. I think this vehicle has had five clusters replaced in the car, due to the parking sensors, side warning sensors not working. I believe the fifth one went in Dec 2024 once again. The vehicle was in the shop from November 22, 2024 until yesterday DecemberI 2, 2024 when I picked it up. I got home and the parking sensors didn’t beep off and I could’ve crashed it into my garage door and I went through the system and it was already selected to beep but didn’t, then I started getting a message saying that the side warning sensors are unavailable. I put it in reverse it tells me the wipers are off, so maybe all the clusters that they’re making are faulty. The Jeep Retention Customer Service even sent a specialist, technician assistant to the dealership twice or three times to deal with this issue and it’s still not fixed. The dealership Service Center has put in request for answers of how to fix these problems and have had to wait weeks for answers because they don’t know the answers of how to fix the problems with these vehicles and they send a specialist and still the problems still occur they say put in a new cluster a new cluster gets put in the problem still happens. The part is shipped directly from a manufacturer and they have no ETA on that part and my car would still be in the shop, but the Jeep Retention Customer Service Rep had it expedited but the problem is still ongoing. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON THIS CAR AND PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEIR MONEY BACK

This vehicle has alignment issues causing vibration at higher speeds and excessive tire wear. After multiple alignments and tire balances, nothing has resolved the issues. Dealers are not doing anything about issues. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Our 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has wheel alignment issues. We are going to our third set of tires in 56,000 miles. Vehicle has excessive vibration traveling over 75 mph after tires have been balanced. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? When tires have excessive wear, they do not grip the road safely and an increased danger in wet weather. Vibration at higher speeds can cause loss of control. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Dealer just says it's out of alignment and charges 200 dollars to align vehicle, but this does not fix the issues. Dealers are no help in this issue Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Only dealer and tire shops. Tire shop says it is a suspension issues, but Jeep dealer denies that Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No lights
