Summary2016 Q50 AND 2017 Q60; ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT NOISY OR HAS COME OFF IF YOU CONFIRM The accessory drive belt is noisy. Or The accessory drive belt has come off of the idler pulley. ACTION - If the accessory drive belt is currently only noisy, check it?s alignment with the procedure starting on page 3. - If the accessory drive belt has come off of the idler pulley, first repair the accessory drive belt and any collateral damage caused by the belt, and then Proceed to Re-align A/C Compressor on page 6. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. Summary2014-2017 Q60 AND Q50; POWER WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY SERVICE INFORMATION If power is interrupted to the power window system, it may cause one or more of the following symptoms to occur on one or more power windows: - AUTO-UP does not work, but window will move up and down with manual operation of the switch. - When door is opened (only applies to Q60), window will lower a small amount (normal operation) but will not raise when door is closed. - Window will move down when operating the window switch, but will not move up. NOTE: - If any of the above symptoms should occur, it may indicate that Window Initialization is needed (see page 2). Initialization should be done before attempting any repairs. - If needed, refer to the applicable Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to perform electrical diagnosis. - After electrical repairs to the vehicle (including repairs to the power windows), make sure to perform the Window Initialization and Anti-pinch Function Check procedures on page 2.

Summary2016-2017 Q50, 2017 Q60, AND 2017 QX30 WITH 2.0L TURBO ENGINE; CARTRIDGE-STYLE OIL FILTER SERVICE INFORMATION - The Applied Vehicles are equipped with a cartridge-style oil filter. - The filter may be difficult to remove. If this should occur, pull the filter straight off with no bending (if the filter rotates with the housing). - The filter housing may be damaged or broken if not handled with care. - If the filter housing is damaged or broken, it must be replaced. NOTE: - If the tip of the filter housing breaks off inside the front cover of the engine, use needle-nose pliers to remove the piece(s) to prevent debris from entering the oil passages when the engine is started. - If a replacement filter housing is needed, make sure to lubricate the o-rings and neck of the filter housing prior to installation.

Summary2017 Q60; SUNROOF INOPERATIVE IF YOU CONFIRM The sunroof is inoperative (will not open and/or close electrically). ACTION 1. Turn the ignition OFF. 2. Wait at least 1 minute. 3. Disconnect both battery cables, negative first. 4. Wait at least 30 seconds. 5. Reconnect both battery cables, positive and then negative. 6. Recheck the sunroof for proper operation. - If the sunroof is still electrically inoperative, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section RF ? Roof for further diagnosis. 7. Reset/reinitialize systems as needed. - Refer to the Electronic Service ESM, section PG ? Power Supply Ground & Circuit Elements, for a listing of systems that require reset/initialization after reconnecting the 12 V battery. - Look in the PG section index for ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REMOVING BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL. - This list often includes items such as radio, power windows, clock, sunroof, etc.

SummarySERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90° (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown in this bulletin will prevent tire Flat Spotting.
