  INFINITI; INTELLIGENT KEY INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE STOPS OR WILL NOT CONTINUE SERVICE INFORMATION When the initialization procedure being performed with a new or existing Intelligent Key to an applied vehicle is interrupted (the procedure stops or will not continue), the BCM may be left in learn mode and will not function until it returns to normal mode. Under this condition, the BCM and Intelligent Key(s) will not function normally. If this condition occurs, the BCM must be returned to normal mode and the initialization procedure started over. To get back to the beginning of the Initialization procedure, use one of the following procedures: - Successfully perform the initialization procedure using one of the original Intelligent Keys twice consecutively. - Each successful initialization will follow with two (2) quick tones. OR - When the initialization procedure cannot be successfully performed twice (more than two quick tones), perform the initialization procedure five (5) times using the inoperative ?failed? Intelligent Key. - Initialization does not need to be successful when performed five times. When returning to normal operating mode, the initialization procedure for all Intelligent Keys may be started again.

  INTRODUCTION Infiniti is conducting this voluntary emission recall campaign on certain specific model year 2016-2018 Q50 and 2017 Q60 vehicles. The Engine Control Module (ECM) will be reprogrammed so that in the event of an automatic transmission diagnostic issue, the diagnosis signals will be communicated properly and a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will be properly illuminated to notify the driver. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Infiniti has assigned identification number R1726 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealer?s responsibility to check Service Comm or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary emissions recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

  INFINITI; INTELLIGENT KEY IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION TIPS This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Intelligent Key only. SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing or adding an Intelligent Key, it is very important to make sure the correct Intelligent Key is selected from the parts department. - A running change was made that will help identify the correct Intelligent Key. - Beginning in late 2017 and early 2018 the last five digits of the Intelligent Key part number is marked on the Intelligent Key under the mechanical key. - See page 2 for location images of this part number addition. NOTE: - A correct Intelligent Key may or may not have the last five digits of the part number as shown on page 2. - The above running change was applied as a ?help? to identify the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle, but the actual part number listed in the parts catalog did not change. - Make sure to use the electronic parts catalog (FAST) or equivalent to confirm the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle.

  2016-2018 Q50 AND 2017-2018 Q60; CHARGE AIR COOLER COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with VR30DDTT V6 engine. SERVICE INFORMATION Whenever either or both charge air coolers (intercooler) on an applied vehicle?s VR30DDTT V6 engine is removed and reinstalled/replaced for any reason, make sure to properly bleed the charge air cooler (intercooler) cooling system. Use the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin for the proper intercooler cooling system bleeding. - The procedure in this bulletin is different than what is currently in the Electronic Service Manuals (ESMs). - The ESMs will be updated at a later date. CAUTION: If the intercooler cooling system bleeding procedure in this bulletin is not used: - Damage may occur to the intercooler electric water pump(s), AND/OR - One or more of the following DTCs may set: - P14A2, P14A3, P14A4, P14A5, P14A6, P14A7, P14A8, P14A9 - P14AA, P14AC P14AD, P14AE, P14AF - P14B0, P14B1, P14B2, P14B3, P14B5

  INTERIOR LAMPS INOPERATIVE IF YOU CONFIRM The interior lamps are inoperative (including map lamps, 2nd row personal lamps, door panel step lamps, and trunk lamps). NOTE: If this issue should occur, the outside door handle lamps will also be inoperative. ACTION 1. Set the parking brake. 2. Pull out the extended storage switch/fuse to the ?inventory/storage? position. 3. Start the engine. 4. Confirm the interior lamps are now working correctly. 5. Push in the extended storage switch/fuse to the ?customer delivery? position. NOTE: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnostic and repair information.
