Trucks been in to Ford for repairs 38 times for force motor shuts down while driving. Ford wasn’t able to duplicate so they kept blowing me off. Finally morries of Okemos actually drove truck 45 minutes like I requested because it only shuts down after truck warms up. They have got it to finally shut down and have realized the panic of not being able to start back up until it’s in park and how dangerous it is to be driving 70 on highway and if you break it does force motor shut down. Ford refuses buy back and vehicles not safe to drive. They still have no answers. At this point I’ve went 245 days without a vehicle while being in and out of shop. Mine isn’t the only one out there. There telling people if they can’t duplicate when they drive it they can’t fix it. Problem is these dealerships aren’t driving consecutive enough to fix it. Thankfully mirrors did thinking I was crazy and dealership says they have never seen this actually happen. Just from talking I know several people with same issue.

The contact stated that the battery had been replaced several times; however, the failure returned shortly after the battery replacement. Upon investigation, the contact suspected that the failure may be caused by a parasitic drain inside the vehicle, which would run the battery even while the vehicle was turned off. The contact stated that recently,y there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the engine relay. The vehicle was taken to a dealer however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. This vehicle started having issues. The truck would shut off going down the highway at 60-65 mph. The radio would blink on and off. The truck would shut down and not turn back on for multiple hours. Dealer couldn't replicate the problem. Our son utilized the truck to go and pick up LP gas for us from his shop. On the way back to our home, he stopped at a stop sign and suddenly noticed smoke coming from the dash. He attempted to put out the fire which was then raging under the dashboard and hood. He got the fire out, fire department arrived, truck ignited again. The fire department put out the truck. Son was burned trying to not have the truck explode with gas tanks in the back.

POWER TRAIN, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
The contact owns a 2023 FORD F-150. The contact stated that the Pre-collision Alarm Sensor Default was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced two sensor cables. While driving at approximately 35-40 MPH, there was a sudden winding sound coming from the bearings, which could be heard underneath the hood. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who replaced the alternator, and while repairing the vehicle, the dealer noticed that the idler pulley had failed. The idler pulley and serpentine belt were replaced. After having the vehicle repaired, the driver’s side seat cushion started deteriorating. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced the driver’s seat cushion. The contact smelled burning transmission fluid entering the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed the vehicle with transmission failure. The final decision for the repair was not yet provided. The vehicle was not repaired. Had ac on on the way out of town when the air from the vents smelled like mold and mildew and the smell is not healthy for any human beings and the ac drain has no elbow on it witch is the cause of water getting back into the system the smell made me sick and called ford and was told I would have to pay for it since it was pass 3 years truck has 29k miles on it should not be making that smell at so little miles it is a health Hazzard

2022 Ford F-150. The vehicle displays a warning message that reads, "Trailer Disconnected" continuously. It comes on as soon as the engine is started and comes back on as quickly as I can press the "OK" button to make it go away. I have taken the truck to the dealer for repairs four times so far and it still comes back. I have paid to have the trailer break control module reprogrammed as well as having a new one installed. The Ford web site lists this as a recall for the '22 F-150 but not for my specific VIN so it would appear the problem is larger than they know. On Saturday (April 19th), I looked at my rear tire, passenger side, and noticed a bolt inside my hub. After seeing that I parked my vehicle. This morning I called Al Packer Ford East, told them I had this issue and know its a recall, the lady told me I needed to drive my vehicle in for them to be serviced, when I told her it was unsafe, she well that not my problem.

Issue: Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.3L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with OTC P0171 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software level of the PCM. To correct this issue, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FORS). Description: 2021-2023 F-150 3.3L: Reprogram The Appropriate Modules As Required By The Software Update And Service Procedure (Do Not Use With Any Other Labbr Operations) Ford has current recalls for this issue but my vehicle was not included.
