The contact was forced to pull over and had the vehicle towed to a local independent mechanic where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 128,000.

Our vehicle was rear ended and the front passenger seatbelt did not lock or (possibly) locked too late. The front passenger's face hit the dashboard, as well as their knees and feet. The vehicle that hit ours was estimated to be travelling at about 45 mph and we were rolling at around 5 mph in traffic. The failure has not been able to be reproduced by the collision center, the sensor callibration contractor, nor the dealership. No sensors showed any failures and the tension appears to be correct on the seatbelt. We have been unable to determine why the seatbelt failed during this incident and if the vehicle will react appropriately in the event of another collision.

The stabilitrak notification comes on constantly. While we are driving/reversing and turn our steering wheel the whole car will shut down and the steering wheel jerks. It's happened multiple times. It takes forever for the car to turn back on.This is super dangerous and cause myself and my children to end up getting hit by another vehicle while on the road.

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the vehicle displayed "Reduced Power," and the rear wheels started to lock-up. The contact was able to keep control of the vehicle and continued driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who completed the repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V797000 (Power Train). The contact stated that after the recall repair, while leaving the dealer and driving approximately 10 MPH, the vehicle veered off to the right and ended up partially in the next lane. The contact stated that the vehicle unintendedly shifted into neutral, and the message to "Press Start Again" was displayed. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and parked the vehicle in a nearby parking lot. The contact restarted the vehicle and drove back to the dealer. The failure recurred twice while returning to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that there was a fuel pump drive failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and confirmed the VIN was no longer under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V797000 (Power Train). The manufacturer opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000.

The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe seems to be known for thermostat failure. My thermostat gauge while driving would drop from 210 to 160 and stay pinned on 160 and the fans would turn on. I was told by an auto body shop that it seemed to be electric issues. I also had a wire under the car catch fire and the auto body shop said that is why my standing lights would not work in the rear but my brake lights would work. It’s very dangerous that the electrical failure caused a fire to start under the car. Then, I ran into another issue just this week where the vehicle has a cracked AC condenser and is slowly losing coolant. It’s a manufacturing issue because all of them seem to crack and we’re not made with a proper seal. Another electrical issue I have is when I turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, even when the key is in and engine is on, the engine will shut off. The car completely shuts off and then I have to turn the key to the off position and then it will turn right back on. The steering wheel is also losing power steering and gets very tight when I have to make a turn. The fuses for my radio are blown and when you put new ones in, it blows immediately and doesn’t turn on. I have MANY issues with this vehicle and it’s obviously a manufacturer issue. This is not ok for a vehicle to all around have such horrible electrical issues. I have had issues driving over a pothole and I lose my radio screen or my whole dash screen and then the dealer and auto body shops say the electrical work is too in depth for them.

Passenger side rear air conditioning blower motor caught on fire and burned vehicle out completely. Fire trucks called to put out fire but is completely burned out. My safety was at risk flames in back by the time I got stopped on highway. Thankful no one was riding in back seat. First issue I had with it and it torched the vehicle. No warnings on dash. Vehicle is waiting to be inspected by insurance adjuster.

I wanted to express a concern regarding my vehicle. There are several wires exposed on my dashboard where multiple cracks have developed over time. I have been hesitant to bring the vehicle in for the airbag recall replacement because I am concerned that the existing damage to the dashboard could worsen during the repair process. My primary worry is that additional cracking could expose more wiring to heat, which may increase the risk of electrical issues, wire corrosion, or even a potential fire hazard. I would appreciate any guidance on how this situation could be addressed safely while completing the necessary recall work. Thank you for your time and assistance. Transmission issue. Vehicle has the Duramax Diesel with 10-speed transmission. I am aware of issues with earlier year/s transmissions. I have experienced shuddering, jerking, a SINGLE momentary rear axle lockup. Jerky engagement from drive to reverse and or back. Reduced Acceleration warning on display. Check engine light comes and goes. Waiting for dealer to further inspect, drain fluid, etc. It appears from the VIN check that this vehicle had some metal work/paint prior to delivery to selling dealer, paint does not match. The transmission issue at 15,000 miles is just plain scary and not what one expects. That this vehicle sold as a 2023 has same issues as earlier model years makes me wonder if this is in fact a late 2022 model with the known defective transmission valve body? Any help appreciated.
