The battery died multiple times and has been replaced costing multiple days without transportation. Battery caused additional part repair and has been recently repaired. This is the 5th time going into shop for recall/issues on my vehicle with only 10k miles on it. Now with the safety recall with no solution I do not feel confident that this vehicle is safe and reliable for my family and daily life.

My 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN [XXX] ) is included in NHTSA Recall 25V-741 (FCA 68C) for a high-voltage battery defect that can cause a fire while parked. Jeep instructed owners not to recharge the vehicle and to park outside, away from structures, because the defect may lead to thermal events even when the vehicle is off. As of today, the manufacturer states the remedy is “not yet available.” This means the vehicle cannot be charged, stored in a garage, or used normally. I am a lessee still making payments on a vehicle that cannot be safely used. The lack of a remedy puts property and personal safety at risk. I am requesting NHTSA oversight to ensure FCA/Stellantis provides immediate relief such as a loaner vehicle or repurchase for owners and lessees affected by this recall. The vehicle has multiple critical, uncorrected safety defects: Loss of Motive Power (RQ24012), Engine Contamination (CSN 78C), and Battery Fire Risk (Recall 68C). Incident Details (R/O [XXX], [XXX]): My 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe experienced a sudden and complete Loss of Motive Power while operating. The customer concern noted on the Repair Order states the vehicle "seems to loose power while driving above 30MPH... and feel like it was going to turn off." This failure rendered the vehicle inoperable and created an extreme safety hazard on a major roadway [XXX] ), forcing me to coast to safety. Component Failure and Safety Risk: The failed components are the Engine (2.0L Turbo), Hybrid Propulsion System, and Electric Coolant Heater (ECH). The dealer's repair (R/O [XXX]) confirmed system instability by replacing the ECH. This loss of power is directly linked to the manufacturer's known defect (CSN 78C), where sand contamination in the engine can cause catastrophic failure and unrecoverable loss of propulsion. This mechanical defect is the root cause of the safety risk and is currently under NHTSA investigation (RQ24012). Additionally, the vehicle is subject to Recall 68C (Battery Fire Risk), preventing safe use of the PHEV system and forcing me to park away from structures. The combination of these uncorrected defects puts both my safety and the safety of others at risk. Warning Lamps: A 'Service Hybrid System' light or similar warning message appeared at the time of the incident. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer (Price Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram) and is documented in Repair Order [XXX]. The component is available for inspection upon request. My clutch was recalled and I brought it in maybe around 10 times after because the service transmission light immediately came up after the recall fix. After bringing it to jeep for a year and engineers giving me the run around. First they said it was the way I was driving the clutch then after a year they said that the recall was to put a new sensor in and that is why the service transmission light is going on. This cannot be correct because they would have said that from the beginning. It is dangerous because you cannot see anything on the screen when the service transmission light comes up. They do not know what is wrong and are making up excuses after it was in the shop off and on for a year. The way I drive the clutch is normal and should never make the service transmission light go on. It never happened before the recall.i have docume to from all the times it went into the shop.

The vehicle has an active fire-risk recall (68C / 25V-741). Manufacturer has instructed not to charge the vehicle and to park away from structures. The dealership refuses to provide a diagnostic report or loss-of-use support. The vehicle is not safe to operate or store. I am seeking manufacturer action and accommodation.

Recall for electric battery packs in the electric Wrangler Manufacture requires that we don't park the vehicle in our garage and we don't charge or use the electric battery This pretty much makes my vehicle unusable as I drive the electric motor and my only free parking space is inside my garage

This is my daily vehicle. The fact that there is an active fire safety recall with no remedy is absolutely horrible. Per my VIN this has been the third safety recall on same issue in two years. Please make jeep fix this problem or buy these cars back to get them off the roads. Thank you!

The drive indicator suddenly started flashing, the red wrench light came on, the check engine light came on. I pulled over a little on the road and put the jeep in park. I was unable to move the vehicle. It would not come out of gear. I had to turn the jeep off. Then restarted it and was able to get it into gear however the check engine light remained on.

- #11697885November 6, 2025AIR BAGS, VISIBILITY/WIPER
The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. The contact recently replaced the windshield wiper motor due to a failure of the intermittent speed settings not functioning properly. The contact stated that after replacing the wiper motor, the contact was only able to use the wipers on the fast speed setting. An independent mechanic informed the contact that the vehicle was taken to the shop for repair, or he could replace the wiper blade switch on the steering column. The contact repaired the vehicle himself. The contact stated that after the repair was completed, while driving out of the driveway at approximately 2 MPH, the driver's side front air bag deployed. The contact followed the instructions to install the wiper blade switch carefully. The contact was still only able to use the wipers on the fast speed setting. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 132,552.

My 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JL's "Driver Information Digital Cluster Display" (on dash; in front of steering wheel) goes blank or vigorously flickers and then turns off. This has been an ongoing issue. You cannot see vehicle information at all - gauges, system information, speed, etc. This puts the driver and passengers at risk. The problem has been confirmed by my local mechanic. There is an open recall for the same issue for Jeep Wranglers of same model and year, but my VIN is not included. The recall is "Part 573 Safety Recall Report 24V-652." Please advise.

The vehicle is affected by a high-voltage battery defect related to thermal runaway and fire risk. The manufacturer has instructed owners to avoid charging the battery, avoid using the hybrid system normally, and to park the vehicle away from structures. I do not have alternate parking and the vehicle must be stored next to my home, creating a safety concern. This is the third time the same safety issue has affected the vehicle. The hybrid-electric drive system has been unusable for long periods of time, resulting in the vehicle being unavailable or not able to be used as intended for more than half of the time I have owned it. Multiple authorized dealers have confirmed that there is currently no remedy or repair available and that they cannot schedule a repair because the necessary components are not available. The manufacturer also has no estimated timeframe for when a remedy will be provided. The safety risk is ongoing, and the vehicle cannot be used as designed or safely stored.

My local dealer has all the documentation on this jeep. It has been into the dealership many times now the check engine light is on for another problem which I am taking it in again this weekend . When I ask the dealer, I’ve been seeing things on Facebook about these jeeps having issues they just filled me full of a bunch of Bull and says every vehicle has issues. I’ve ran the VIN number and found out that mine is one of them that just catches on fire plus sometimes shakes when it’s driving down the road but that’s been minor considering everything else. One time I was driving up the driveway and it felt like the transmission slipped or something. They said it was something in the four-wheel-drive that went out. This is a new vehicle. It has very low miles on it. I’ve had it going on maybe the fourth year now it’s only got 31,000 miles on it I don’t drive it very far. It’s been in the shop several times for recalls or things that’s happened to it. When I first got it, it left me stranded would not start. I’d only had it a few days. It has been a lemon from start to finish. I am terrified to drive it and I don’t have another vehicle. I paid $55,000 for this jeep just a few years ago. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I desperately need help if the manufacturer is refunding people’s monies I want to make sure that I get enough money to buy another vehicle because this one is only a few years old and it’s been in the shop numerous amount of times. The other day it shimmied a little bit on the highway and I thought it was the road and now I’m reading that there’s problems with that also, it’s clearly a lemon. But as I said, I’m scared to death to drive it now. The newest development as I’ve said is now the check engine light is on. It’s only been out of the shop for maybe three weeks since they fixed something in the four-wheel-drive which I’ve never even used. I love the looks of this Jeep, but it’s not dependable so I need help.

- #11697977November 6, 2025ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I have had multiple issues with this vehicle including • A failed sensor resulted in the loss of traction control, four-wheel drive, and ABS brakes, making the vehicle unsafe to operate. • A fuel sensor malfunction caused gasoline to backflow and spill during refueling. • On a separate occasion, the vehicle shut off completely while driving, leaving me without control of the vehicle. There are now 2 recalls on the vehicle. 1 for the vehicle randomly turning off and the other for potential to catch fire. Neither of which the dealership or Stellantis has issued a fix and are saying it’s “safe to drive”, however I failed my inspection a few months due to a torn windshield wiper because that is a safety risk.
