A serious accident that totaled the car happened. The driver side curtain airbag did not deploy and the driver broke her wrist. Side curtain airbags on passenger side opened even though there was no passenger in the seat. The driver steering wheel airbag did deploy. Car appears to have been hit head on based on the damage that I saw.

On 1/6/24 I started my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport (5,500 miles) and every warning light on the dashboard (brakes, tires, check engine) was on. The error messages displayed said "emissions system problem, avoid heavy acceleration & high speed". It repeated this message for the power brakes, power steering, ABS, hybrid system, and all of the ADAS systems. Took to the dealer and they reset the codes and it drove normally. Problem re-occurred on 1/8/24, same symptoms. Dealer stated the wire harness for the radar camera needed to be replaced, it was replaced under warranty. The issue repeated on 1/19/24 however when I began to drive to the dealership, the car completely stalled while I was in heavy traffic on the highway, losing acceleration, power braking and power steering and forced me to coast and pull over. I was able to restart the car and use limp mode to the dealer. They stated the electronic throttle body failed and needed to be replaced. This part is backordered and I am still waiting on a replacement part. Online research shows this happening to others without any resolution from the dealer. I feel like this is a dangerous safety issue due to me losing power in heavy highway traffic and a recall needs to be created.

Multiple lights on dash and car would not go. My car could not be driven because of the risk of cutting off and someone hitting me. I took my car to the dealership and had the same problem as my other Honda back in 2022.

The 2023 Honda CR-V developed a sticky steering wheel when it reached about 7,500 miles. It was smooth steering up until then, but one day the steering wheel began to stick when you wanted to turn it. This is a safety issue as it interferes with safe driving as you have to jerk the steering wheel to get it to respond. Otherwise, the car will stay in the stuck position and keep moving the car in the stuck direction. I will contact the Honda dealer to report the issue and see if they are offering a fix for this definite safety issue. There has not been any warning lights indicating a problem with the steering.

The steering is "sticky". It gets stuck in a position and it requires unusual force to regain full steering control. It is definately an uncomfortable and unsafe condition.

The side mirrors, especially the driver-side mirror, have considerable distortion and appear to be defective. The car was returned and the driver-side mirror was replaced, but the problem is still there. It seems to be a manufacturer defect and a recall should be investigated. Unable to see and/or focus clearly with the side mirrors.

When driving, I will sometimes get a sticky steering wheel that requires excessive force to turn the wheel when trying to make small corrections when driving straight. It feels like the steering wheel is catching/stuck on something until a apply extra force. The steering is not smooth like it was when I purchased the vehicle or on other vehicles I drive. This often happens on the freeways at high speeds when minor corrections are needed and a large correction would be very dangerous

- #11566896January 22, 2024FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
The AEB system has malfunctioned on two occasions while driving the vehicle. Yes, the safety of myself & others was put at risk. The problem has not been confirmed by the dealer, but I plan on contacting the dealership this week to inform them of the issue and get more information on how to fix this problem. There has been no warning messages or other symptoms of the problem before. On both occasions where the AEB system malfunctioned, the dashboard screen lit up and said "brake" even though there was no traffic in front of my vehicle. The first time this happened was about a month ago, and the second occasion happened just yesterday afternoon.

When we purchased a vehicle, it appeared to have some kind of overspray and film on the front windshield. They attempted to polished or buff out the windshield which didn’t really help. While normal driving it’s hard to notice but when really refracts the lighting, which makes it extremely difficult to see. The dealer Tracy Honda is attempting to polish out the window. Once again, we will see if this makes a difference.

When driving at freeway speeds the car demonstrates sticky steering. Dangerous on lane changes and curves. Took into the Dealer(Tracy Honda) and they said they weren’t aware of the issue. After diagnosing it they determined that it needs a new steering rack. Back ordered until April.
