The contact called as the fleet manager for a company that owns a 2021 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while an employee was attempting to operate the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start after several attempts. Once the vehicle was started, the vehicle failed to accelerate above 5 MPH. There was no warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to a dealer and an independent mechanic who both determined that the fuel pump had exploded inside the engine causing contamination of the fuel system. The company was provided an estimate for the repair. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V957000 (Fuel System, Diesel); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated while driving approximately 55-60 MPH and hauling a Fifth Wheel Trailer, the low-pressure fuel pump suddenly failed and the vehicle lost power, causing the vehicle to stall. The contact activated the hazard lights and waited for a tow truck that was in the far-left lane on the freeway. The check engine warning light illuminated immediately when the vehicle lost power. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who determined that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) but could not yet be repaired because parts to do the recall repair were not yet available. The dealer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was 21,646.

I just picked up my Ford F-250 (2022) from Allstar Ford in Prairieville, La. It will have been 3 weeks since I had my truck towed to this dealer! On Tuesday [XXX] my truck stalled in heavy traffic and was able to glide off [XXX] in Baton Rouge and same to a dead stop at the end intersection. I blocked traffic for 30 minutes until truck started and was able to get out of traffic! My Ford pass App text a message to me that my fuel pump module had failed. Dealer could not diagnose a failure and after 3 weeks I finally went and picked it up. They did offer to replace the fuel pump for $1700.00 as my 100,000 warranty could not be applied because dealer diagnostics could not recognize the fault??? Truck has 72,000 mile on it!! So now I am driving around in a vehicle that could stall at any time, without any notice. Now what do I do?? INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.

Bumps in the road caused steering wheel to shake violently (Death Wobble) until truck was stopped in the middle of a 4-lane expressway. Truck is now at the dealer for inspection of frontend steering components. If there was heavier traffic, there would have been an accident. no warning signs present, only bumps in the road which the truck was not able to dampen or control.

Hi. I took my 2021 f250 6,7 to the ford dealership as it was having trouble starting, and just wasn’t running great. They changed the batteries, and told me it was a NOX sensor. So I went and got my truck to fix the sensors myself; because they wanted to charge me close to 3 grand. The next day I got up, lo and behold it wouldn’t crank. I had to have it towed back to the dealership. I tested codes before I had it towed, and took a video of it not cranking. The following codes showed. P2291 PCM - Injector Ctrl Press Too Low - Engine Cranking P2209 PCM - NOx Sens Heater Sense Circ Range/Perf Bank 1 Sens 1 U029D PCM - Lost Comm With NOx Sensor A P2535 PCM - Ignition Switch On/Start Pos Circ High U300A BCM - Ignition Switch It’s been in the shop a week , they called Friday saying it was starting, and there was nothing wrong with it. So I replied with all the codes, and told them there was definitely something going on. So they checked it again Monday and it wouldn’t start. Now today (aug 5 tues.) they say it may have a vacuum leak. Although non of the codes point to vacuum leak. I have no idea what to do now.

Fuel pumps failure causing the truck to loose power while in traffic. I have spent 8 thousand dollars in repairs and I am still all of a sudden low Fuel pressure pops up on the screen and it looses power. Has left me stranded 200 miles from my house. Ford has told me that they can't get it to happen for their tech and told me to drive it. Same thing happened again 200 miles away from my house. I feel like Ford knows what it does and doesn't want to correct the problem. These trucks are very expensive to buy and to operate with all the service that has to be done to keep it on the road. I have been driving Ford trucks for over 35 years and this has got to be the worst one ever also the most expensive.

- #11671870July 8, 2025AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
I hit an elk at 65 mph while pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with 4000 lbs of hay. The crash warning light did not come on nor did the air bags deploy. The whole front end of the truck is badly damaged. I contacted my local Ford dealer with this information and was told by the service agent that the body shop will handle this. As my concern is how hard do you have to hit something to get the airbags to deploy. I’m concerned for my safety while driving this truck again if it can be repaired. I’m taking it to the repair shop today. I wanted to report this as Ford will be ZERO help moving forward.
