December of 2020, I purchased 3 - 2020 Ford F150's with 5.0L engines and 10speed 10r80 transmissions for 2 of my companies as PERSONAL DRIVERS (non-commercial use). *Vehicle 1 - at 82,000 miles - was experiencing missed shifts, and harsh engagement. Within a couple of weeks of this happening, unfortunately the vehicle was totaled in an accident unrelated to shifting. *Vehicle 2 - began to experience the same problems, this vehicle would miss a shift and fall completely "out of gear" leaving no power or throttle response (roughly 78,000 miles) and had been service according to Ford specification and mileage with Motorcraft factory filter, gasket, and Ford ULV fluid. Unfortunately this was the only vehicle I purchased an extended warranty for due to long highway trips out of town where a breakdown would be difficult to deal with out of town. Determined as "transmission Failure" and replaced at Billy Howell Ford in Cumming Ga. (via extended warranty) *Vehicle 3 - VIN NUMBER IN QUESTION - at 74,000 miles vehicle is now missing shifts, jumps out of gear. 2 DANGEROUS scenarios this week. Crossing oncomming traffic to turn onto road - 1-2 or 1-3 shift missed and complete loss of power/movement barely avoiding being hit by oncoming cars. Second occurrence, slowing to a red light on wet road. Coasting/Braking as transmission began downshifting from 10th gear,.. when it got to 7/6 it downshifted to Gear 4 sliding/screeching the rear tires as the rear end SLID/DRIFTED sideways causing me to PANIC STOP with brake pedal fully depressed to avoid free sliding or losing control of the vehicle. -100% available for inspection FORD SHOULD ABSOLUTELY RECALL ALL OF THE EARLY 10R80 EQUIPPED VEHICLES. IT'S DANGEROUS!! Vehicle has been checked/duplicated and verified by ASE certified technician, local dealer admitted to problems, there are NO MIL's, and NO FAULT CODES STORED COMPUTER. Dealer wants almost $9000 to replace transmission. Ford DO BETTER! -- THIS IS DANGEROUS.

While driving, wrench light comes on dash and I lose ability to accelerate. Have to turn truck off and on again to clear this problem but then it will continue to come back. Unsafe as it downshifts to first gear while driving. Doing research online, this is a common problem with Ford F150 and you issued campaign 19N01 in 2019 - Transmission Molded Leadframe Extended coverage. Problem is, this just started happening to my vehicle, and it looks like this extended warranty would have expired in 2022 or 2023. I purchased the truck used in 2020, but never knew about this. And since I wasn’t having these issues till a few weeks ago, I would not have been covered. I am writing as there are numerous other drivers having this same issue now after the warranty expired, and are having to pay $1500-$4000 out of pocket to fix a known issue. This seems like it should be a recall fixed free of charge, no matter when it starts happening. Just because it happens now vs before 2022-2023 does not make the issue any less serious. This can still cause accidents. Is there any solution to having this covered by Ford? Can the campaign be extended or just be turned into a repair recall?

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 45 MPH and coming to a stop, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the engine sounded rough, and the vehicle was driving roughly on the way to the residence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the engine had lost compression in two cylinders. The contact was informed that the long block needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 114,785.

I own a 2011 Ford F-150. While driving at highway speed, the transmission unintendedly downshifted to first gear, causing the vehicle to lose motive power. This can, by Fords admission, cause accidents and Injury. The check engine warning light and Wrench Symbol was illuminated. Sometimes it is able to restart and reset sometimes not. This problem has occurred several times while driving. I took it to my normal mechanic, where it was diagnosed with an output shaft speed sensor failure. He said that the transmission lead frame needed to be replaced. The vehicle has not yet been repaired. I spoke to Ford customer service and they refuse to fix it and said my VIN was not included. My truck speedometer stopped working while driving 65mph. At the same time, shifting became erratic and unpredictable, causing a very unsafe condition almost causing my truck to lose control. The Check Engine light immediately came on. After diagnostics, the engine code was "P0720 Permanent, Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit." This is a known problem with Ford and Ford recall # 19N01, "Transmission molded leadframe extended coverage." When taken to the dealership, they admitted this was the exact problem that needed to be fixed, but the Recall expired in 2023 so it would now cost me over $1800 to fix the leadframe. I am reporting this because these exact issues are happening to a lot of people even after the Recall has expired. This is a defective part that should be covered by Ford. This recall should be extended. I never got any notices or letters from Ford regarding this problem, probably because I am not the original owner of the truck. I have not uploaded an invoice because the repair has not been completed yet, but I am happy to do this at a later time once the repair is completed.

I was driving down the road and heard a loud clunking noise. Then I had lost power and the rear wheels were spinning out of control. There was a grinding/spinning/whirring noise coming from beneath the vehicle, sounded like from behind. I was fortunately able to regain control of the vehicle by shifting it into 4WD and avoided an accident. I brought the Vehicle to Gaudin Ford for repair and was informed it was a recalled part failure recall number 23S65. I had previously requested the recall repairs to be performed during routine maintenance, but was informed parts were not available. At this time, I've been 6 weeks without my truck and there is no end in site. It was insinuated that they might not even be making this part anymore, but the Ford recall center was unable to confirm or refute this. In the interim, I do not have a suitable replacement. I have been provided a small vehicle as a loaner, but I am unable to use this to drive >50 mile radius, I can't leave the state, can't loan it to my children, can't tow or haul. All the things I need my truck for, I'm unable to do. Either, I need access to a rental with similar capability to my truck without all the restrictions, or fix the truck in a timely manner, or provide me a suitable loaner without all the restrictions, or buy back my truck, or something. Instead I feel like I'm being held hostage by a company who is refusing to fulfill the recall responsibility in a timely and suitable manner. I have contacted the dealer, Ford customer service, and the Ford recall center on numerous occasions and have been told that other than getting an update when the part is available, there's nothing else they can do. The Ford case number is [XXX] . INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Passenger side Lighting Control Module, becomes defective. Most obvious sign is the non operational passenger side running light/light bar. Other observations, may include sporadic flashing on high beam (assuming- as passenger side Lighting can be seen flicker/flashing passenger side, while driving. Another issue is an occasional non working passenger side front turn signal.
