I received a recall notice for my 2009 Nissan Titan. I have brought the truck to Premier Nissan, 6636 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on multiple occasions to have the work performed without success. I last brought the truck in March 07, 2024, at which time I was told that the airbag emblem needed to be replaced. [XXX] . The part was supposed to be ordered and in within two weeks. I called Premier Nissan several times since March 07, 2024, without resolution. I called today, August 08, 2024, and was told that the dealership records did not even indicate that the part had been ordered. Additionally, to add further insult, I was told that the truck must again be brought in for another inspection despite the fact that it had been inspected and found defective on March 07, 2024. The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Titan. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the vehicle was diagnosed with a failed front driver's side air bag. The contact was informed that the front driver's air bag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the air bag warning light had been illuminated for almost a year. The contact stated that previously in 2021, the air bag software was updated under an unknown recall. In addition, the contact stated that in 2022, the front driver's air bag control module was replaced under manufacturer approval at no cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 132,172.

The vehicle has loss of power and goes into limp mode unexpectedly. It has done this numerous times on the interstate and regular roads. It is a safety hazard. This has occurred on several dates and we were lucky to be able to pull over safely. We we traveling in Georgia last month and Nissan didn't even have a qualified diesel tech with 3 hours of where we were. We have had ten of thousands of dollars of work to the truck and it still is not fixed. They replaced the computer screen, wiring harness, and I believe parts of the exhaust system. They had the truck for months.

TRUCK WOULD NOT START IT IS A 2018 NISSIAN TITAN XD WITH 41000 MILES ON IT AND HAD TO HAVE TOWED TO A NISSIAN DEALER AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT AS THE LIFTER FUEL PUMP BAD CALLED NISSIAN CORP HELP NUMBER AND THEY WOULD NOT COVER IT SINCE FACTORY WARRANTY RAN OUT 3 MONTHS AGO SO HAD TO PAY $2300 OUT OF POCKET TO REPLACE AND AS I HAVE READ THIS IS A KNOW ISSUE WITH THESE LIFTER PUMPS IN THESE NISSIAN TITAN TRUCKS

I was driving down the interstate and my crankshaft broke. It happened suddenly and I lost all power and luckily no one ran into the back of me as I slowed down and made my way to the shoulder. There I sat for 2 hrs waiting for the tow truck. There were no signs or warning lights prior to the engine loosing all power. Nissan inspected and has confirmed it is a broken camshaft and will not warranty it.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that while reversing, the back-up camera display screen appeared distorted, with lines inside the image. The contact stated that the failure created a visibility hazard. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the camera infotainment display needed to be replaced; however, the part was on backorder and not currently available. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and confirmed that the part was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Titan. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle experienced phantom braking. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. Without warning I had a loss of power while driving followed moments later by the engine completely shutting down and failure to restart causing vehicle to stop in the middle of the road because I had no power steering or breaking. Using an OBD2 scanner I was able to recover the following code "P0087 Fuel Rail Pressure/System -Too Low Bank ". Upon trying to restart the vehicle to no avail it gave this code "P00C6 Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low - Engine Cranking Bank 1". Using an Auto Agent EZ Lynk I was able to see the fuel pump was putting out 125PSI but the Injector pump has a desired output 4.5kPSI but was only putting out 0.3kPSI and wouldn't increase pressure during cranking. After talking to my local Nissan dealership service department I was told it appeared that either the injector pump or the motor had failed. The oil and filter was change on [XXX] and fuel filters were changed on [XXX]. And has always been changed at ORR Nissan in Searcy Arkansas. If this had happened as I was going down a major highway or interstate it could have resulted in a major accident with possible injury or death due to the loss of steering. The vehicle is available for inspection immediately by all parties. While driving down the highway, the truck started a vibration, without any warning indicators. The vehicle was taken to the next travel center truck shop. The writer acknowledged the vibration like a misfire, but no codes were present. He recommended another shop or dealer. A detour was made to the nearest Nissan dealership. On the way, the truck stumbled with a violent vibration and shut down on the road without warning lights. There was a complete loss of power from the engine on the highway, giving way to the risk of being hit by other motorists and blocking traffic. Since the engine shut down, there was also a loss of power steering, giving high risk to the possibility of an accident. The truck was unable to restart. The vehicle shut down in the middle of the desert, exposing my family to unsafe environmental conditions. The truck was towed the remaining way to the dealer. The next business day, the technician got the truck started and verified the concern. The tech requested additional time for teardown which was approved to remove the oil pan for inspection. I was quoted over $37,000 to repair “catastrophic engine failure.” There were metal shavings found in the oil pan “the size of a computer mouse” from somewhere on the crankshaft. The dealer found that the check engine light came on during service but did not provide the codes. Nissan refuses to assist with repair due to warranty time and secondhand ownership. Nissan was offered to inspect the vehicle but has declined.

STEERING
There was no bolt that holds the undercover after the steering system was replaced. I contacted Victoria Debnam and she told me the service would take care of it. I returned with my Titan and that took a few minutes. I went home and checked the bolt. The new bolt looked different from the OEM bolt. I contacted her and complained but she didn't respond back. Then I contacted the Nissan Affair and they told me to show up. So I showed up and went to see Robert Paolucci about the bolt issue. They put up an OEM bolt as other factory bolt. After a few days later, I went under and inspected the new bolt. The bolt is no longer tightened. I contacted Robert and Jonathan Flores via email and call but they haven't responded back. The previous bolt had already damaged the threaded hole of the frame. I did contact the Nissan Affair about the issue and they haven't responded back. Robert Paolucci texted me and selling tires and I replied back that he needed to contact me about the bolt issue. Since the non-OEM bolt damaged the hole in the frame, which can rust and corrode the frame. The frame repair could be very expensive. I don't know how they address the hole which they need to change the whole frame. The service needs to find a solution to that damage.

Went to pull out onto main road and the truck refused to accelerate instead it started to miss and lose power then the check engine light came on and the Reduce Engine Power warning was displayed. Shortly after that the truck died and will not start. A scan of the engine codes reveled a P0087 Fuel Rail/System pressure Too Low Bank 1 code. It appears that the Bosch CP4 Fuel Injector pump failed. Right before the engine died there was loud noises coming from the drivers side of the truck which sounded like it was coming from the engine compartment.
