My car would not accelerate or go forward, stalling, shaking and jerking then completely stop in the middle of traffic in NC . I got side swipe and almost rear ended. I received a card in the mail about this bad CVT transmission but now I’m being told it’s too late to do anything. I expect Nissan to stand behind their product!!! I’m not going to keep making payments on a car I can’t drive and I’m sure not able to afford getting it fix myself nor should I have to. [XXX] Thank for help in solving this problem! ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:CRANK/CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 MPH and exiting the highway, the vehicle decelerated and then lost motive power. The vehicle lost power steering and braking functionality; additionally, the instrument panel went blank. The contact pulled safely off the road and the vehicle would not restart. I was approaching my driveway in front of my house and my vehicle had smoke eminating from a glove compartment area when I got out of the car and checked underneath the hood the car was on fire I got out just in time there was something wrong there could have been the engine fuel system I just recently had an oil change 2 weeks ago the incident April 2, 2022 I was in fear for my life because I had no signal from the car what was happened I had just recently had an oil change a week and a half before the incident I noticed that flames were starting to rise and massive flames of ire than fumes of smoke and all of a sudden the car started burning and then the exploded destroying the entire car. Fire Department was called Lieutenant Thompson and his staff came out to put out the fire and the car was towed away was nothing left but the frame. I can be reached at [XXX] my name is [XXX]. Police got it Towed on 1/26/2022 to alpine automotive, lake Zurich illinois, enterprise holdings picked it up on 1/28/2022. No other information provided by any party on estimate of damages, nor medical coverage due to “insurance policies”

My RPMs do not catch up with my speed. While I'm driving rpms randomly fluctuate. The transmission doesn't engage quickly enough. Now my car can barely even stop quickly enough. it gets stuck in a high gear and when I try to accelerate it jerks. I can barely stop my car I have stop so far in advance and even than it will barely stop. THIS A HUGE SAFETY RISK for myself and others. This car still fairly new should not have these issues. I also did not any warning signs or check engine light nothing. I take care of my car. This car could potentially take the lives of others it needs to be recalled immediately.

Car will only go in reverse. While driving down a busy road my car stopped accelerating in forward and now no longer will drive forward at all. I have kept up with all routine maintenance, and had no warning sign that this was going to happen. My warranty expired at 60,000 miles and I am at 64,000. I bought the car brand new in October of 2018, and still owe on it. So now I am stuck with a car payment for a car that I cannot even drive.

I have an open claim with the insurance company. there were no other vehicles involved. The police came to the seen and the vehicle will be investigated further.
