1.Engine malfunction/Transmission failure .Yes, available for inspection upon request. 2. While driving my car in traffic my car started to hesitate then it started to slow down on its own I pressed on the gas pedal and it did not move forward at all the speedometer went to zero ,so I quickly turned on my hazard lights and pull over on the side of the road. Thank god I was in the lane close to the shoulder of the road. I cut the car off for a minute then started it back up and put it in drive and drove it down the street to my brother’s house where it is still sitting there now. This was very frightening and very unsafe experience , there were no warning signs far as dashboard icons emergency. I’m afraid to drive my car again and now have pay someone to take me to work and back home this is so inconvenient for me when I have a car of my own . All because of this faulty situation with the transmission 3. No inspections by anyone. 4. Prompt actions and attention to the matter of my car is of the importance to me and my Nissan Sentra to ensure the safety of myself and others.

I was traveling at about 40mph when my vehicle, with no traffic in sight, had the automatic emergency brake go off and reduced my speed to 32mph. My safety concern is what if this happens on the freeway or even while raining. if there was a car behind me what if it caused them to get road rage. ***dashcam video available***

Intermittently unable to start (start button flickers quickly sometimes). Dealer checked out common start issues like battery and alternator for free and charged for start lamp switch but still intermittently cannot start car. Based on internet research, not just me and possible needs to be recall on start lamp or corroding brake/cruise switches immediately above brake. Stranded several times. When won't start also won't use lights, door locks, etc.

I was driving the car and leaving a red light. The car lost power, abs light came on and the traction light came on. I was unable to turn and move out of traffic. It finally jerked and released so i could drive. I was in a cross section and thank God we did not get hurt. It did this to me twice on my way to work.

The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled with the traction control and check engine warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the catalytic converter was replaced; however, the failure persisted. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.

STEERING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ENGINE
Steering wheel went unsteady. All warning lights went off. Speedometer failed. Unable to shut off the engine and unable to detect key while having the key in place. My safety and others are at risk each time this happens due to not been able to have control of the vehicle speed while having unsteady steering wheel and not knowing of the possibility of breaks failing while trying to drive to a safe place. This has happen about 5-8 times this year. Nissan replaced the IPDM and has continue to failed multiple times after. They have not been able to detect the cause. I have records of each time it has happen and one of those times was while driving on highway. My life and others have been at risk.

Code P0101 came on, service Bulletin from NHTSA.gov was done. Car came back worst. Engine stalled in the middle of the street. It wouldn’t turn on, we had to push it to get it out of the street. Car will accelerate on its own when turn on. Sometimes car will accelerate when put on Reverse on its own….. RPMs will be at 7 and 8 when going 45MPH. I notice this has been an issue for Nissan Sentras 2013-2015 based on research all over the internet. People have replaced Thottle body, air mass flow sensor, break sensors, fuel intake, fuses. Vehicle isn’t safe to be driving in street, may caused an accident, even mechanic said I shouldn’t be driving the car because it isn’t safe. We already made a complaint with NHTSA, DMV for financial Help and nothing. Help is really needed.

I heard what sounded like rocks under my car so I took it into Firestone to have them look at it and they let me know they could not even align it because the tie rod had to be replaced. Apparently this part controls your steering and you can potentially lose a wheel while you are driving down the highway. Now I am worried and I don't dare drive my vehicle any further than necessary right back over to Firestone to have them replace it on Monday. This is a safety concern because if I lose steering and the wheel comes off in that distance of even one mile anyone in the area of such a situation could get hurt. I actually don't have much money, but have no choice but to pay to have it done. I have continually maintained my vehicle. I have not hit any rocks that would have caused this issue either. I asked Joe at Firestone what would have caused the problem and he told me simple wear and tear. I only have 27,360 miles on my car. That makes no sense to me with such a small amount of mileage that the tie rod would have to be replaced to remain safe on the road.

The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. Im filing a complaint iv had more recalls on this car then i ever did on any other brand this is the second recall i had for the tire rod which was already replaced with a new version of the original tire rod then they tell me oh u need a new back up camera and front lights that had recalls as well i do not feel safe driving my car and they sai d there is nothing they can do im furious. When i drive my car the wheel is constantly shaking and thats what the notice said to be weary of. As for the emergency breaking its been happening to often when im going down a road the emergency signal goes off and the breaks engage on my car when there is no other veichles around this should deffinatly be looked into

Car was in a hit and run accident on June 29, 2023 where another car slid up the whole passenger side of the car damaging the front side so car could not be driven. Car was repaired, given back but not performing correctly. Car was taken back and told unsafe to drive. They did more repairs on the car, gave it back and car still not performing correctly. Car taken back for a second time, deemed unsafe, repaired, and given back. Car still didn't seem to be right. On October 21, 2023 daughter was on the way to Nissan to check out a recall on tie rods because we just got a letter in the mail about them. The car started to vibrate. My daughter tried to pull off the road but the steering would not allow her to control the car. The car ended up in the middle median. She was cut out of the car and has hand injuries. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The only window that is working properly in my car is the driver window. The other 3 sometimes work and sometimes will not roll down at all. On occasion it goes down but does not come back up or doesn't go back up but half way then stops. I have taken to the dealership twice and still it has not been fixed. Cannot really use the windows at this point as I may not be able to get them back up so definitely cannot leave car unattended in any parking lot or down in certain weather situations.
