On [XXX] I was traveling with my [XXX] daughter from Phoenix, AZ up to Flagstaff, AZ. The Nissan Rogue associated with the VIN number is my wife's. Vehicle only has 24,000 miles on it and we currently have a Nissan Security+Plus extended warranty, [XXX]. We were cruising along nicely and all of the sudden many warning signs appeared stating "Malfunction, See Owner's Manual". The vehicle turbo essentially lost all boost rendering the engine nearly powerless. I have read many reports of this being a possible issue with the motor, but there is currently no recall on it. That is a potential catastrophic failure and I'm afraid it will happen again. We were able to get the vehicle to a Big O Tire in Flagstaff, AZ since the Nissan dealer there couldn't see the vehicle. They hooked it out to a diagnostic, cleared out all the warning codes, and the vehicle starting producing boost and working properly again. We made it safely back down to Phoenix. I'm very worried this could happen again and wondering why this major glitch isn't being recalled. Has Nissan considered a full buy back on these vehicles? Please advise. My vehicle was parked in my driveway. I left my property in another vehicle and upon returning, my rear windshield was shattered. If this had happened while operating the vehicle, there would have been a high risk of injury to myself, other occupants, or other vehicles on the road. This has not yet been confirmed by Nissan, but there have been other reports and a lawsuit filed by other owners. This incident has not been inspected, as windshield replacement is fully covered by my state, it was not caused by collision or vandalism, and I need to get it repaired quickly in order to commute to work. There were no warning notifications prior to the failure.

While getting into my car I closed the driver side door and the back glass shattered. It had no visible cracks or chips and was parked in an open area.

I was waiting to turn when my rear window had a sudden "BANG" noise and shattered. There was no snow on my car, and no evidence of anything going inside my car that could've caused the damage. As I drove, the glass continued to shatter more and more and ended up in my vehicle, and potentially on the road as well. There is currently an open class action lawsuit regarding this issue.

I was in my 2021 Nissan Rogue and just turned right down the street from my in-laws home ( out of state in Indiana) when the vehicle violently jerked to the right and I was unable to control it and sent me into a ditch. My speed was 14mph when this happened. I managed to get it up on the road and inspected it. I found the right front rim broke, the lower control arm broke, and inner tie rod bent, as well as body damage to the fender and bumper. The tpms light and the forward collision light is on at the dash. I reported it to my insurance company. I managed to put the spare on and get it into my in-laws driveway. It will need towed to get repaired. The vehicle can be inspected where it is at. No warning lights before for this incident happened. I’m very greatful this didn’t happen on the interstate with my family in the vehicle.

While sitting at a red light, the rear windows exploded and shattered. After getting out of the vehicle to determine what happened, the windows then caved in. This is a rental vehicle and has to be repaired immediately. The damage is no longer available for inspection. This put mine and others safety at risk because if I had of been moving during the time of the explosion, it could have caused an accident. The police inspected the vehicle. There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms prior to this happening. I only had the vehicle for a 4 days prior to this happening.

- #11720786February 26, 2026ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). The contact stated that there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine. Once the accelerator pedal was depressed, the abnormal sound was heard for a short while before the noise ceased. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that while driving at a slower speed, the abnormal sound was more frequent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. However, no cause for the failure was found. The dealer informed the contact that the sound was normal for the size of the engine. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve had failed. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

I was driving my vehicle after dropping my son off at school and my back windshield exploded without warning. I was unsure what to do and there was nowhere to pull over. I drove home and called my local Nissan dealer who I was leasing the vehicle from and they said the repair would not be covered. I used a local windshield replacement company and paid out of pocket to have the windshield replaced.

Yesterday, I got into my car - closed my driver door - and my back rear window completely shattered. Upon research online, this is a common issue arising among Nissan rogues. My safety was at risk due to glass exploding everywhere. The dealership where I got the vehicle has been informed of this issue. The vehicle was just purchased three weeks ago and passed its inspection. There were no warning signals, etc.

My Nissan rouge 2025 accelerated on its own when I was parking my vehicle at my pet boarding place . I just missed crashing into the building , could not get the care to stop , kept bumping the brakes eventually it disengaged itself . i am fortunate not to have crashed , taken my life or someone else's life. My car suffered minimal damage by taking out their large mailbox and shrubs. My car was towed to Nissan dealer and they have had the car x 2.5 months. An inspector from Nissan affairs is coming March 10 to the Brandon Nissan dealer in Florida to see what he can find going on with the car .

- #11720279February 24, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
While making a left turn at approximately 10 mph in light snow conditions, braking became severely impaired with pedal pressure present but vehicle failing to decelerate, and steering became significantly resistant and insufficient to redirect the vehicle away from the obstacle. Vehicle continued toward a tree despite brake pedal input and steering input away from the tree. Slippery road warning light activated before and during the incident. Multiple additional warning lights activated during and after impact. Airbags did not deploy despite collision. Post-incident, steering required significant opposite steering input to drive straight for approximately 1.7 miles to reach a safe parking location, consistent with front-end damage affecting steering alignment. Prior to this incident, I experienced multiple separate occasions where braking felt abnormal and insufficient in conditions requiring higher traction including rain and snow. I verbally reported this concern once to an authorized Nissan dealer in December 2025 and was told this was normal AEB system behavior. No documentation was created for this verbal complaint. Vehicle had a prior manufacturer recall performed at an authorized Nissan dealer on June 1, 2024 reconfiguring the IPDM/USM — the module controlling electronic steering column lock and CAN bus safety system communications. At that same visit, the Nissan technician documented abnormally dirty brake fluid at only 14,410 miles on this 2023 vehicle. A second manufacturer recall reprogramming the ECM was performed at an authorized Nissan dealer on December 4, 2025, approximately two months before this incident. The vehicle is available for inspection. No independent or dealer post-incident inspection has occurred. An insurance claim has been opened. Incident occurred within the 3-year/36,000-mile manufacturer warranty period at under 31,000 miles.

My 2023 Nissan Rogue SV engine failed on February 8, 2026. It is currently not on the recall list, but has the same engine as on the recall list. I have contacted Nissan multiple times with no help. My Nissan has 108000 miles and I should have a documented case open with Nissan now. Nissan should repair my engine. I spent $24000 on this vehicle one year ago. This is unacceptable. The vehicle is sitting at the shop with cylinder three filling up with fluid. The Rogue never showed any check engine lights or anything. It just failed. It has the 1.5 liter 3 cylinder turbo engine. The vehicle started shaking. I parked the vehicle then it would not start back. Had it towed to shop to diagnose issue. They confirmed castastropic engine failure.
