The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while attempting to turn the vehicle on with the push-to-start button, the vehicle began to make a continuous clicking sound. The contact mentioned that the clicking sound appeared to be coming from the battery. The contact stated that the entire warning lights illuminated and flickered on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the push-to-start button had to be pressed again to make the sound stop and then the vehicle had to be jumpstarted. The contact stated that the failure continuously recurred, causing the vehicle to be jumpstarted several times in one day. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.

My vehicle cabin smells like gas after driving for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. I took it back to the dealership in January 10, 2024 where they changed hose assembly blow by PVC hose. This did not resolve the issue. The fuel smell is very strong inside the cab as will as standing outside the vehicle

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Our car has experienced multiple incidents of the interior becoming drenched with water. From thew sunroof, the sides of the vehicle, the floorboards, back AND front. We bring it in to be repaired but then another leak occurs. I am worried about water coming into contact with the many electrical parts of the car that help it operate especially since so much wetness occurs near the front half of the vehicle, near the controls. This last incident, we reached out to Nissan's corporate office and they would not cover the cost of repairs. We are nervous about what might happen and ethically don't feel we can sell the car in this condition.

The rear windshield of my car blew out overnight. Police came and determined there was no vandalism, it blew out. My car had been parked for at least 12 hours, with no shifts in temperature. Upon doing a google search and speaking to people on message boards, it seems this is quite a common issue on this car, with the damage presenting in the exact same way. Two holes on either side of the windshield with everything else shattered. Thankfully I wasn't driving at the time, but I did speak to one person who was. I attempted to speak with Nissan but they told me it was not under warranty and basically not their problem. No warning indicators or anything else that would have warned of issue.

I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV, I have a consistant odor problem, I have talk to corporate, and my dealer and neither will take responsiblity for the problem. The odor of gasoline smell is both outside and inside of the vehicle. I am going tomorrow (again) to the dealer to get some computer update and will again ask why they cannot fix this problem.

On March 13, 2023 I purchased a new Crown Nissan Rogue. For the most part, the car has performed well up until this year when I have had issues with the Engine Malfunction light coming on. Specifically, I get the message:” Engine Malfunction. Power reduced, Service now”. The car then goes into a slow decline of power and the speed reduces significantly at which point I will pull over to a safe spot and turn off the engine. Typically, after waiting a few minutes, I am able to start car without the engine coming on and will proceed home. This is the third such incident of this occurring this year (January, February and now March). I brought the vehicle in for service in February and noted this dilemma. The service personnel did address the issue but could not find anything that they could attribute it to. This latest episode occurred on March 22, 2024. Again, I pulled over and turned off the ignition and called service personnel. After letting the vehicle sit a while, I again was able to start it without the Malfunction light coming on and proceeded home until I can bring it in for service today. I am at the point that I am beginning to feel uncomfortable driving the vehicle because this is the third such time that this has occurred. God forbid that I am out on the highway when this happens. I have been driving on hwy and the nissan give me a message (engine reduce power) and it dosent let me accelerate more than 30 mph and if some cases just turns off i took it to the stealership and they told me that everything is right and that is that normal and now it has a vibration and i took it and they say its normal too now a have a piece of crap cmsuv that im paying to not even work

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at 20 MPH, the vehicle shut off as a key fob warning symbol appeared on the instrument panel. Due to the failure, the vehicle was initially towed to an independent mechanic and was later towed to the dealer. Two separate diagnostics were performed on the vehicle; however, they were unable to determine the cause of the failure. The dealer later informed the contact that a defective belt located underneath the dashboard may have caused the failure. The mechanic gave the contact an estimate for the repair but warned that the repair may not fix the failure. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

On around [XXX] around 9-10 pm. I hear a muffled explosion. It even vibrated our house. It scared me and our two dogs. On [XXX] we ran errands in my vehicle. We get home. I open her hatch to get stuff out. I hear broken glass sound. I look up to see her rear window completely shattered. With two holes. One in the same area on either side. The glass actually blew outwards!! I called my local Nissan in Greeneville, TN. They told me to bring it in on on [XXX]. Before taking it in. I googled our issue. Low and behold NUMEROUS 2021 Nissan Rogue owners on a Nissan Forum has had the same issue! Nissan denies that there's been any issues have they had to replace any rear windows due to this. On a Nissan Forum other customers have been denied as well! A company that makes BILLIONS won't accept responsibility. I know one thing. We'll never buy another Nissan for sure. As we had to pay out of pocket almost $500 to have it replaced. Nissan denied ours as I had to tape it all up. Otherwise it would've fallen out into the road. Roughly 2 dozen or more customers can't be lying nor be wrong. Please help us. As I'm pretty sure it's a bad batch of glass. If it were anything else there'd probably be more. My car has a horrible gas oder, at first only noticed it in the garage but the more I drive it the more I can smell it. Cannot put windows down while driving or you just smell gas. If you run lots of errands in a day you can start to smell it as you approach your car in the parking lot. I have had it in to nissan twice and all they do is replace a hose. But it is not a fix in fact it doesn't help at all

Driver’s seat failed at the weld. It was squeaking and sliding back and forth a fraction of an inch at starts and stops. It was quite distracting for the driver and passengers thereby creating unsafe conditions. There were no warning lamps. This seat was confirmed by the dealer service center to have failed.

Despite the failure, the vehicle resumed normal operation. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the dealer failed to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 19,206.

AIR BAGS
There is a recall for the airbag light coming on the dashboard. Took the car to the dealership to get the car looked at, was informed their is a recall for the airbag light. Was told it was fixed, a week later the light came back on. Went back to dealership, this time they said it would need a new driver side seat and electrical panel replaced to be repaired correctly and to know 100 % the driver side airbag works correctly. Nissan won't cover it because those aren't the current parts to fix it. I don't understand, the dealership tried twice to fix the problem with the standard parts that are allotted in the recall and it didn't work, now it needs to be fixed properly. I have a Nissan with a safety recall issue that Nissan refuses to cover the cost to fix it. It is very unsafe, dangerous and life threatening to have a vehicle with no working driver side airbag. We bought this car for our 16 year old son, only to have a severe safety violation in the car that won't get fix properly by the manufacturer. What if he is in a front on collision and the airbag doesn't work? Heaven forbid he get critically injured or even die from it. What does it take for Nissan to do the right thing and properly fix the recall. In the meantime our son isn't allowed to drive his new car much and not far from the house. How would they feel if it were their teenager in a car with no driver side airbag and the company with a recall refused to fix it correctly. I guess our son's life doesn't matter to anyone but us. All we want is for the recall to be fixed correctly ( which we knew nothing about) which is correctly working airbags. How would you feel? 2022 Nissan Rogue SV 1.5L Engine rattling noise around 2000rpm. Told at Nissan service that noise in normal and they cannot do anything about that. Please investigate I didnt bought tractor I paid for vehicle 37k.!!!! Also I see lot of peoples complain about same issue online with same respond from nissan service "that is normal noise"
