Hello, My VIN is not included part of recall which it has for this year. It has same symtom as other vehicles where vehicle slows down while driving. "One of the most common causes for slow acceleration in Nissan Rogue is a faulty CVT valve body, which is part of the continuously variable transmission system. This can cause the car to lose power and acceleration after driving for a long time or in hot weather." Nissan Manufacturer is not willing to listen to me or test it. I need some asisstance.

ENGINE
My vehicle is starting to jerk at times. Doesn't do it all the time, but it is bad. When driving it will jerk, and if the speed is 45 mph and you hold it at that speed the steering wheel will shake. The engine doesn't sound right. I have had it checked and it is the transmission. Yes there's is a recall on it. But since no lights have come on the Transmission can not be replaced. Something needs to be done before I am stranded some where. Don't know what the big deal is for you to fix it when you know there are problems with it.

Engine failure with less than 44,000 miles on the car. Engine just failed and shut of while traveling down the road. Car is sitting in a Nissan dealerships lot with absolutely no news on what is happening. There were no known issues with the car at the time of the engine failure, it just happened all the sudden

There is a water leak on the driver side floor and the body shop can figure out where it's coming from. My vehicle also had issues with the latch due to corrosion. The body shop was able to fix that issue. My navigation system and dash turns off and on as I am driving. The bodyshop can't find any issues with that either. Clear something is wrong with it.

While driving i started to notice my RPM increasing and my acceleration decreasing. I have stayed up to date and proactive on maintenance. at 110000 miles my transmission has started to have gear slips, My RPMs increase and my car will randomly lose the ability to accelerate at random times leaving me vulnerable to an accident car crash.

The liftgate has been malfunctioning. It will go up, and out of now where completely falls. It has fell on me and my 1 year old when I was getting something in the trunk and had to quickly throw my 1 year old into the trunk so he did not get injured, but it fell on my back. My car was taken to the dealership on [XXX] to confirm there is something mechanically wrong with the liftgate. There were no warning signs of the trunk just dropping. The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at 50 MPH on the highway, other vehicles were honking attempting to get her attention. Then a strong abnormal odor was coming the vehicle and it was discovered that there was a fire coming from the driver’s side footwell. The contact merged to the shoulder of the highway and safety exited the vehicle. No injuries were reported. The fire department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. The police were on the scene and a report was filed. The origin of the fire was unknown. The contact stated that she sustained emotional distress due to the failure. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted and made aware of the failure and no assistance was provided. The vehicle had a no-start case. It wouldn't catch while turning over. It tried, it had sufficient battery and all operations were done properly like putting break pedal all the way down. Let car sit, opened the door, shut it and hit some other stuff and it started fine. Other people online seem to report similar cases where just leaving the vehicle makes it start.

All headrests in the car became moldy and flaked white powder onto the seats. This car was part of the COVID issues and I was told it sat on a parking lot for approximately a year before receiving a chip. I purchased the car in the summer of 2022. In 2023 I noticed my headrests were getting a white powder on them. In the seams, front, back, and all sides. It was on every single headrest. Moldy headrests can cause many health issues. I had to contact the corporate office as no one was taking it seriously. I have now had all headrests replaced with new ones. They did not detail the interior of the car after replacement. I plan to do this myself.

These warning lights always come up-DAILY. No matter if it is hot or cold out. I am worried that they will not work if/when I actually needed them to. I am scheduling an appointment with NISSAN. Nothing has been looked at on it besides my normal oil change/check ups. I have a 7 month old and it scares me that I am not in a safe vehicle.

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at 55 MPH, a 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna Glide Custom motorcycle crossed the center line and crashed head-on into her vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The driver-side skirt air bag was deployed. The driver sustained concussions, burns, shoulder, a back pain, and bruises. The front passenger was her son who sustained bruises from his shoulder to his buttocks and has PTSD and anxiety. The rear passenger, her daughter, sustained bruises to her body and has anxiety and PTSD. All three occupants were provided medical attention. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. A police report was filed. There was no reported fire. The unknown local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. The VIN was not available.

The lock also failed to lock with the inside lock button intermittently. The contact stated that the alarm indicated that the doors had been unlocked with an audible sound; however, over time, the alarm failed to activate. The failure had become more persistent over time. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the door lock mechanism was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure where it was confirmed the repair was not covered under warranty or recall. A case was filed with the manufacturer regarding the failure. The door latch for the fuel does not open when pushing the button for the fuel, I have been stalled on multiple occasions stuck sitting waiting for the latch to finally open. The last time I pulled into a dealership in Conroe Texas they said the solenoid valve was broken and I would have to pop off something on the inside to access the lid to get it to open. I bought this SUV [XXX] and have had issues for at least the last 6 months and told different things - this latest is to google or you tube the issue. The Supplemental air bag warning light illuminated. I call dealership and they are willing to schedule an appointment and charge $225 for a diagnostic test. Depending on the issue, the solution/remedy may cost anywhere between $300 and $1000. In my situation, the supplemental air bag warning light remains on after approximately 7 seconds.

Twice while driving my Rogue it has gone into a limp mode. First time car was towed to Ted Russell Nissan and they found no code for problem ,an update was installed. Second time I drove car to same dealership and again no code was found. The have now had my car for 8 days and can’t get car to duplicate problem. I have to take grandchildren to daycare and pick them up. Both times the problem occurred I had just dropped off 1 year old. My safety was impacted because of the amount of traffic in the hours of dropping off and picking them up. The only ones who have checked vehicle is the dealership. There were no warning or any indication it was going to happen. The first date was [XXX] and the second was [XXX]. Car is still in shop.
