My 2021 Jeep Wrangler 3.0L EcoDiesel experienced a failure of the engine oil cooler that allowed engine oil and engine coolant to cross contaminate. The oil cooler on this engine sits between the oil and coolant passages, so an internal failure of that component mixes the two systems. The failure first occurred in September 2025 while the vehicle was in use, and coolant intrusion into the oil system has recurred in 2026. This condition is a safety concern because it can cause engine overheating and sudden loss of engine performance or engine failure while driving. On one occasion the vehicle overheated within approximately one mile of leaving a service facility. Low oil pressure was also observed (as low as 9 psi), which risks engine damage and loss of power in traffic. The manufacturer (FCA US LLC / Stellantis) initial XXX November 7, 2025 the arbitrator ruled in my favor, finding the oil cooling system failure "was more likely a result of a Manufacturer defect" and that my modifications "did not cause the oil cooling system failure," and ordered the manufacturer to repair it. FCA's own [XXX] owner dashboard showed the Powertrain Limited Warranty active (expiration 10/07/2026 or 100,000 miles) as recently as May 18, 2026; yet by XXX a Stellantis dealership reported the vehicle under a complete vehicle restriction and refused to diagnose it, leaving a known engine defect unrepaired. I am reporting this so the potential safety defect in the EcoDiesel oil cooler and the resulting engine overheating and failure risk are on record, and because the manufacturer has not repaired a defect that an arbitrator determined to be a manufacturing defect. While driving my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in normal conditions, the vehicle unexpectedly loses electric drive power. Power is reduced in stages — to approximately 50%, then 25% — then electric mode is disabled and the dash displays "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable," after which the vehicle forces into hybrid operation after a delay. During the delay, the vehicle does not deliver the power requested by the accelerator. This has occurred at 41%, 73%, and 81% battery state of charge during normal driving, with no wide-open-throttle demand — conditions under which the manufacturer's specification states electric power should continue. This is a loss of drive power. The manufacturer's own recall A7C (NHTSA campaign 25V710000) identifies a software error that may result in loss of drive power in these vehicles, and states that a loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. My vehicle exhibits this condition but is not included in that recall population, which raises a question of whether the recall scope covers all affected vehicles. Safety risk: unexpected loss of drive power during normal driving — including when merging, crossing intersections, or pulling into traffic — creates a delay in which the vehicle does not respond to the accelerator as expected. Reproduced by the dealer: dealership service personnel personally experienced the loss of electric propulsion during a test drive, and the condition was also reproduced on a second 4xe vehicle at the dealership. In all cases, no diagnostic trouble codes were present, no repair was performed, and the vehicle was returned as "operating as designed." A neutral arbitrator in the manufacturer's warranty arbitration found that a nonconformity exists with a propulsion issue on the vehicle. The condition has not been properly diagnosed because I am unable to obtain the diagnostic measurement I have requested. The manufacturer's case manager has stated that warranty coverage for diagnostic testing cannot be confirmed

Recall Number: 26V363000 Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara I am filing a Recall Remedy Failure complaint. This recall was issued in June 2026 for a fire risk when the vehicle is parked. The recall status continues to show "Recall incomplete, remedy not yet available." I have contacted Jeep/Stellantis multiple times and have been told there is no remedy, no parts, and no timeline for repair. They have been unhelpful and unable to provide any safe interim solution. This defect poses a fire risk, and I have been unable to safely use or park the vehicle. It has been well beyond the reasonable time required under federal law for the manufacturer to provide a remedy. I am requesting NHTSA intervention and classification of this case as a recall remedy failure. I am seeking a manufacturer buyback as required under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Following completion of the 68C Battery recall, my vehicle began experiencing unexpected and severe loss of electric propulsion while driving. These failures occur without warning, immediately reducing power and causing the vehicle to stall in active traffic. On multiple occasions, surrounding drivers were forced to take evasive action to avoid collision with my stalled Jeep. Incident Timeline 05/15/2026 The hybrid battery failed completely, causing the Jeep to stall in traffic. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, where the hybrid battery was replaced. 06/01/2026 The Jeep was returned to me after repairs. 06/02/2026 The Jeep again lost power and stalled in the middle of the road. After moving it to safety, it was towed back to the dealer. Additional components were replaced. 06/20/2026 The Jeep was returned to me once more. Post‑Repair Behavior (Ongoing) Since being returned, the Jeep continues to suffer sudden and major loss of electric propulsion while driving. Only after the power loss occurs does a warning appear stating “ELECTRIC MODE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE.” This warning arrives too late to prevent hazardous situations, as the vehicle has already become a danger to surrounding traffic. Safety Concern The repeated and unpredictable propulsion failures create significant risk of collision, endanger both myself and other drivers, and indicate that the recall repair and subsequent service attempts have not resolved the underlying defect. Nothing has happened. They dont know when they can fix this issue and its a fire issue. The solution now is to park away from buildings, but car theft is high, and break-ins happen all around here, so that in itself is an issue. Should be at a dealer lot waiting for a fix and a loaner should be provided by Jeep.

After performing the 68c recall vehicle no longer drives the way it was designed. When in hybrid mode pushing the accelerator to the floor results in a 2-6 second delay waiting for the gas motor to kick in and then it slams the power into the car. This car is extremely unsafe and impossible to merge into the highway correctly now. Car does not show any warnings and dealer claims this is normal operation.

- The all electric drive system intermittently fails. The vehicle drive shuts down and stops suddenly when decelerating to a stop in full electric mode while in drive. The vehicle "drive" light on the gear shift then starts flashing when the drive system shuts down. Vehicle motors lock up and the vehicle comes to an abrupt stop. The vehicle then has to be shifted into Park, and then back into Drive, in order for it to re-engage. The incidents happened at all different levels of SOC - from 98% charge to 1% charge. All happened at different times of day. Temperatures between 73-85 degrees. All in daylight with different sun/clouds. Yes it is available for inspection upon request. - Safety is an obvious issue when the vehicle comes to a compete and sudden stop in traffic unexpectedly. - Yes the problem has been reproduced and confirmed my an independent automotive engineer. I am an experienced professional automotive test driver/engineer for multiple OEM's. - Not as of this time. It is due for service on Thursday July 2nd for its 78C recall completion. At that time, I will have the dealership inspect it. - There were no warnings of any kind prior to each failure. I have only owned the vehicle for 14 days, and in that time, the issue has repeated 6 times. All when in full electric/battery mode, or, when in hybrid mode but the vehicle was operating solely on electric propulsion and the ICE was not on or engaged.

Was traveling approximately 55 MPH down the highway for 15 min in electric mode. Moved to the shoulder and stopped quickly using regenerative braking for an oncoming emergency vehicle. I got back on the highway and I suddenly lost almost all pedal response and it would not accelerate. I kept pushing the accelerator pedal harder and harder. That's when the ICE kicked on and there was a sudden violent lurch forward and the engine was screaming at over 5000 RPM. There were cars approaching behind me and they had to suddenly stop and they honked horns and avoid hitting me. This sudden throttling of the battery/electric and very erratic switch over to ICE is dangerous.

While driving, regardless of whether at neighborhood or highway speeds, my Jeep Wrangler 4xe suddenly loses drive power without warning. Electric propulsion drops in stages — to about 50%, then 25% — then the dash displays "Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable" and the vehicle forces itself into hybrid mode. When this happens, I press the accelerator and get little or no response for several seconds before the gas engine engages. This is a serious safety hazard when merging or pulling into traffic. I have had a couple of close calls due to the lack of acceleration. It is repeatable and occurs during normal driving. This all began after having the 68C recall performed. Also, while driving in electric mode at highway speeds, the engine constantly starts and stops, causing a lurching each time. In other instances, when the acceleration is lagging, and the engine does start and engage, the vehicle accelerates more than expected, which could be a serious safety risk.

On 6-22-26 at approximately 1035 am, I was traveling southbound on Rte 140 in Taunton. I was in the left lane, traveling at a speed of approximately 55 mph. The Jeep was in Electric Mode. I attempted to accelerate so that I could get around a tanker truck. I pressed down on the accelerator, but my speed only went up to 56 mph before slowly starting to come down. I pressed harder on the accelerator, but my speed continued to drop. There was a vehicle traveling close behind me that was clearly getting aggravated by my slow speed (posted 65mph zone). I came off the accelerator and moved into the right lane. At this point the gas engine finally came on and gave me additional acceleration power.

On [XXX] at approximately [XXX] pm I was at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. When the light turned green I attempted to make a left turn. The Jeep was in E-Save mode, but the gas engine was not on at the time. I stepped on the accelerator, but the vehicle moved very slowly through the turn, no matter how hard I pressed down on the accelerator (electric motor engaged at this time). I feared that I would get struck by other vehicles due to the very slow rate of speed. When I cleared the intersection, the gas motor finally turned on and supplied me with the required amount of acceleration. While driving down the highway, the instrument cluster flashed a lightning bolt and then went blank and the Jeep stalled. Completely lost power and had to stop on the edge of a busy interstate highway. Upon stopping and putting the Jeep in park and pressing the start button, everything lit up and the vehicle started, then immediately gave me a TPMS sensor failed warning and all pressure readings were blank, it periodically gave me a low pressure warning after that but I manually checked the pressure with a tire gauge and it was within in normal range on all five tires (including spare). After I restarted and drove a bit further, the same thing happened again. I looked at the voltage in the instrument display and what I saw was I am only getting to about 13.3v on start up and when idle (including coasting at highway speed) or stopped and ESS kicks in voltage drops to 12.2. I looked up the VIN on the MOPAR recall site and it shows that recall # 24V-652 has been previously marked as completed.

My 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (VIN [XXX]) has completely lost power and shut down while being driven in moving traffic on three separate occasions, each time without warning. When it shuts down, the vehicle loses engine power and forward motion along with power-assisted braking, power-assisted steering, and hazard lights, and it has to be towed. The first failure occurred on or about XXX, at about 13,000 miles. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, and a bad battery cell and loose transmission control module terminals were addressed under warranty, but no cause for the shutdown was found. The second failure occurred on or about XXX, at about 14,608 miles. The vehicle shut down again in traffic and was towed in, leaving me stranded for over an hour. Replaced both batteries and No cause was found. The third failure occurred on or about XXX, at about 16,913 miles. The vehicle shut down a third time in traffic and was towed in. Both batteries failed testing and were replaced, and a blown 150-amp main fuse was replaced, but again no cause was identified. The vehicle still remains at the dealership and has not been diagnosed or repaired. After three repair attempts over roughly 4,000 miles, the manufacturer has not found or corrected the cause of these repeated electrical shutdowns. Losing all power in moving traffic, with no propulsion and no steering or braking assist, is an extreme safety hazard that could easily cause a crash. There has been no crash, injury, or fire so far, but the defect keeps recurring and the vehicle is still unsafe to rely on and is still at the dealer as no root cause has been found. I went to start my Wrangler 4XE today and had a "Service Charging System" error. The gas part of the Jeep was running, so I proceeded to drive it. I noticed when I came to a stop, the car would not accelerate, then when it did it was violent and bucking. At a stop light it sounded like it was going to stall so I turned it off and then it would not turn back on at all. I finally got it to turn back on and drove it a little further, at one point I went to accelerate and had the pedal all the way to the floor and it would not advance. I brought it to Auto Zone and had a new 12V battery put in, but it did not fix the issue. After a quick search, it seems like this is a common problem with Jeep 4XE High Voltage Battery systems. Jeep has recalled the battery at least 3 times now and I've taken it for the first two recalls already. It was extremely distressing to try to accelerate and it not move, and could have seriously been a safety issue if I continued to drive the car. I was in another state, Jeep has no 24/7 service to call other than roadside assistance, so I had it towed to Brubaker Jeep in Lancaster PA, but I live in Virginia and had to rent a car to get home.

I own a 2022 4xe, ater the 68c recall the power of the electric drive is limited. Frequent power loss occurs on highway driving during acceleration (merging onto highway or passing other cars). Despite the battery being charged up to 50% there is only 25% power available. The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The internal combustion engine starts in these cases with several seconds delay. During that time the vehicle does not accelerate sufficiently to safely merge onto a highway or pass other cars. The power loss happens without warning during critical drive situations like merging onto a highway or passing other cars. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platforms as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350 000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. Jeep does not respond to customer complaints or requests for clarification. I would like to request all these cases be looked into, and also contacting Jeep for the new parameters put in place to protect the battery, such as battery temperature and power limits put in place to "protect" a hardware issue within a battery with software

When it happens, I press the accelerator and the vehicle does not respond; there is a delay of several seconds with little or no power before the gas engine engages. This is a serious safety hazard — the loss of power is sudden and unpredictable, and the delay leaves me unable to accelerate when merging or pulling into traffic. The condition is reproducible and began after the 68C recall software update. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platforms as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350,000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer multiple times; each visit results in 'no codes found' and 'operating as designed,' and it has not been repaired. Jeep does not respond to customer complaints or requests for clarification.
