Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while attempting to register the vehicle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a public auction sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 19,229 and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 34,000.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Multiple warning lights on including Engine System, CMBS, Electric Parking, Electric Power Steering, RDM and Adaptive Cruise control warnings caused by Fuel System Too Rich. Either Fuel injector not properly installed or issue with fuel pump. As per Service Bulletin 19-032, this is issue with fuel injector but VIN lookup not showing my VIN for recall and warranty repair. please do needful.

ENGINE
My 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L (1.5L Turbo) experienced complete head gasket failure at 43,568 miles, resulting in total engine failure. The vehicle is now completely non-operational. TIMELINE: • Jan 2023: Collision repaired at body shop ($20,340) • Mar 2023: Repair completed • May 2023: Engine overheating; body shop could not reproduce • Aug 2023: Overheating recurred, coolant loss; advised engine issue • Ongoing: Intermittent overheating, intervals shortening • Apr 2024: All warning lights on, misfires, complete failure AutoNation Honda Renton confirmed HEAD GASKET FAILURE. State Farm investigated and could NOT establish connection between collision and engine failure. Symptoms match the known 1.5T head gasket defect. SAFETY CONCERN: • Sudden overheating while driving • Coolant loss without visible leaks • Misfires and power loss • Complete engine failure without warning MANUFACTURER RESPONSE: • Dealer agreed to pursue goodwill repair, requested records • Promised follow-up, then asked for $400 more for inspection • Told me: "Vehicle not serviced here, goodwill unlikely" • Advisor stopped responding; no resolution • Had to tow vehicle away Honda has NOT recalled this known defect despite class action lawsuit (Bissell v. American Honda Motor Co., Dec 2024).

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed, and determined that the camera located by the front upper mirror had experienced an electrical failure and needed to be replaced. With temperature in mid 20sF, defrost system would not clear drivers side windshield. With freezing rain i had to stop and clear windshield multiple times. Inability of defrost system design to clear created a driving hazard. Service rep at dealer stated Honda design for defrost was not symmetrical ie drivers side was not focused the same as passenger side.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
The vechicle was in an accident were it went off the road into grassy area. Hitting several street signs and a power transformer. The safety features automatic braking or lane keep assistance did not engage. The driver tried to brake the car did not stop nor did it seem to slow down by the distance it traveled. The car is possiblity a total loss, currently under review by insurance company. There were 2 passenger in the vechicle during the accident. Driver and toddler in the rear. Police did come out to the scene. Insurance representative are going through thier claim process.the accident was 2 days ago. All safety feature prior to the accident were opperating proper to my knowledge. I would like to request the black box from the accident to gather more information on what may have happened. Insuarance companies is not going to obtain it.

Wipers intermittently travel different distances and strike the A-pillar. The dealer could not reproduce, but you have video evidence. The vehicle is still under warranty, and the dealer refuses to repair. It has been happening the entire time we have had the vehicle. The infotainment screen failed to display the image from the rear view camera reducing a safety feature of the car. The vehicle was turned off then back on yet the screen remained black and unresponsive. A full video was taken of the different efforts to fix the issue such as momentarily pressing the screen's power button, holding the screen's power button, shifting to reverse-park-drive, etc. The vehicle is scheduled for an appointment with the dealership on 3/16/25. Randomly, the screen will resume working and the issue is not repeatable on command. However, this is the third time it's happened. The first incident wasn't documented, but the second time occurred on 7/11/2025. I have a video demonstrating the behavior and steps taken to resolve the issue. There were/are no warning lamps or messages. Today the issue occurred upon starting the car. Previously the screen has malfunctioned while on the highway going a steady speed. There was no accident and as such no police reports have been filed.

I was driving Honda CRV on Route 60, MPH was about 30 when the vehicle went to side by side on the road. This is a 2 lane highway. If some was coming the other way I could not help from colliding into them. I pulled over as soon as I could. The Honda has a left rear frams is broken. I heard other people announcing that their frame on CRV Honda 2012 is broken at the same side. It is a good car except for the frame. Please help . Are there any recall for frame?

I took my car to honda north for a diagnostics test bc its not running correctly and they told me I need a head gasket my car is to new to need a head gasket and I still have a loan out on it it has 115,000 miles the head gasket should not be blown

AIR BAGS, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
This honda cr-v had a sudden surge of acceleration while the brake pedal was pressed. The brake pedal was stepped off to put car into drive, but then the car suddenly went forward over 30 mph and crashed into a fence and tree in the driveway straight across from it about 5 feet away. The airbag did not immediately deploy, but deployed a minute later. The entire front end of the car was destroyed. The driver tried to press the brake, shift into neutral and even turn the key of the car off to shut it off but none of those worked. This car was purchased at carmax in May 2025 and had no issues per them. There were no warning lights on the car prior to this.

STEERING
Unknown: Steering is stiff. Minor changes like maintaining lanes or changing lanes is becoming increasingly difficult. Large motions are fluid. It feels like it’s sticky. When I change lanes or other minor changes it takes a lot of work to move the car back to its original position. Having issues where it gets caught in certain positions causing significant steering issues.

I was pulling into my son's driveway to park, and my vehicle did not stop when using the brakes. I struck the rear of his vehicle parked in the driveway. When put in reverse, my vehicle would not stop when using the brakes. My vehicle crossed the street, hit a tree, and eventually stopped when it hit a house. A video of the incident was caught on my son's ring door camera. I will submit screen shots of the video since the ability to submit a video is not an option.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The windshield washer system on my 2026 Honda CR V EX L is malfunctioning. The washer fluid only sprays on approximately half of the windshield instead of covering the full glass area. This appears to be related to the washer nozzles or fluid distribution system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Because the washer system does not spray the full windshield, it prevents proper cleaning of the driver’s field of view while driving. This creates a visibility hazard when dirt, road grime, or debris accumulates on the windshield. If driving at highway speeds or in poor weather conditions, the inability to clear the entire windshield could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The issue occurs consistently whenever the windshield washer system is used. It can be reproduced repeatedly. At this time the vehicle has not yet been inspected by a dealer, but the malfunction is clearly observable. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer or other representatives. However, I have observed other owners of the same model reporting the same issue online, suggesting this may not be an isolated case. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning lights or dashboard messages prior to the issue. The malfunction was first noticed when attempting to use the windshield washer system during normal driving.

All the warning lights randomly turned on while driving. I took it an independent mechanic and a Honda certified dealership, and both produced the same diagnosis, a replacement of fuel injectors. P0172 and P0301, P0302 The symptoms, noises, lights are all consistent with TSB19-037, which applies to 2017 and 2018 Honda CRVs. From online forums that have experience the issues around 60-80K miles, my CRV having 72K miles is consistent with the failed fuel injectors.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while his wife was driving approximately 55-60 MPH, the cruise control mode and the lane mitigation systems became inoperable. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The Parking Brake, Hill Assist, Traction Control, TPMS, and the Electronic Stability Control were illuminated, and other unknown systems inoperable messages were displayed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was reset, and the contact was informed that the failure might be caused by a misfire. The contact stated that the failure had become more frequent while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that 4 fuel injectors had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 74,410. The VIN was not available.
