Engine light came on loss of power. I had to have it towed back home. A independent shop investigated the situation found coolant in the cylinder head. They found out it was a bad head gasket, which led to engine failure when going to replace the head gasket part of the cylinder wall peace was missing. I had to replace the whole engine.

The automatic braking system will momentarily engage. This has happened during daytime in a high contrast environment - light painting on road surface or dark shadows on road surface. Vehicle will suddenly deaccellerate then resume normal operation. This randomly happens, even at same locations. Safety is a concern since this sudden and unexpected. This sudden braking has not been reproduce by dealer or independent service provider nor has it been reported to said service providers. It is unknown if parts have been inspected by dealer. No service lights or warnings have been observed.

I have owned the car less than a month and 3 times I have had all of the warning lights come on out of nowhere. The first time the car also lost power. I bought a new battery and after driving the lights disappeared. It has happened 2 more times since then. It is very alarming and could cause an accident.

- #11725617March 19, 2026FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
We are experiencing fule injector issues which causes all the systems to switch off, and has caused issues with the car starting, battery draining and issues in getting the car to accelerate. This car has only 110000 miles and should not be having issues this early.

Windshield wipers have inconsistent force causing it to hit the pillars of of the driver side periodically. Damage could occur to both the arm and the vehicle frame due to repeated impact. Visibility is also affected since the wiper does not clear all of the rain water and causes chattering.

I was sitting in the car with the car cranked on and then all my warnings lights and messages started flashing and blinking. The car was also idling on it’s on. I was scared because this has never happened before. So after looking for leaks under the hood , looking online to make sense of what was happening, turning it off and back on . I slowly drove to the Honda dealer down the street with my hazards lights on. Also due to it acting as if it wasn’t about to restart when I turned it off, and the car seemed like it wanted to cut off in traffic, This just happened on Saturday 3/14. It was the only incident of this kind, and the following Monday I got a call it was my fuel pump or fuel injection, and I was told gas was in my oil . I don’t know how or why this happened. I believe my car got missed in the recall for the issues the model has. I have done research and it has displayed a few of the issues stated online. I do know I have had other issues with my car screen going completely black in the car and my car throwing on brakes and nothing was there. Just wanted you all to be aware of this since I read this make and model have these issues.

Steering is sticky (resistant as though in a notch) when turning the steering wheel to the right or left beyond 30 degrees at highway speeds, or beyond 90 degrees at parking speeds. Issue seems more prevalent when turning left than right. Lane keep assist is off at all times. The steering system issue is a safety concern, as loss of control at highway speeds could cause a crash. Diagnostic by local Honda service center would cost ~$199. Was told by service consultant that a steering system repair (if necessary) would not be covered by warranty. Have not taken to non-Honda service center for inspection, estimate, or repair yet. There are no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem. As the vehicle is driven during a trip, the problem becomes worse.

The contact owns a 2020 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the vehicle was started, and the gear shifter was stuck in park(P). Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The contact researched and became aware of an unstated recall; however, the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

I placed a bid on a vehicle at the co-part location in [XXX] . I reviewed the damage etc. and found it to be an acceptable risk. It was advertised that the car was in an accident with the passenger side and front grill damage. here was allegedly no damage to the motor and most importantly the airbags had not deployed. It was being sold with a salvaged title. Knowing these issues, I purchased the vehicle, had it towed to Miami and began the repairs. I purchased all genuine Honda parts from the dealer and still I could not have all of the lights reset. Upon taking it to another dealership, I learned that my rear seatbelts needed to be replaced, as well as all of the airbags as they had been cut out of the vehicle and the areas where they were located have been closed using drywall screws, some of which are still there. The described condition of the vehicle directly influenced my decision to purchase this vehicle. The lack of airbags could not be discovered from an inspection. I spent over $27,000 to purchase and repair this car as I believed that it was a newer car with much longevity. I was misled by the offer from Copart, and the actions of this company amount to deceptive business practices and possibly even fraud in the inducement. The description of the vehicle and its condition, specifically that the airbags were not deployed, led me to believe that the car was as described. Copart either knew or should have known based on the information provided from the lien holder/insurance that either the airbags had all deployed, and those would have been shown in the photos or that they were still in the car and somehow went "missing" while in the custody of copart. Copart knew this and yet they continued to advertise the airbags as intact. Copart knew that the condition of the car was worse than advertised and that the "as is" terms do not shield copart from the liability of this misrepresentation as this was apparently intentional or reckless. Steering has seemed sticky since I bought car in July. On Jan. 30 after a 20 min drive on a freeway I entered a long sweeping right turn curve. During the turn the steering when jerked 3 times to the left. If there had been a car next to me, this would have caused a serious accident. Research shows this exact problem was under recall for the 2023-2024 Honda CRV's. Cause faulty EPS gear. Beaverton Honda was unable to replicate and denied our claim to replace. There were no warning lights. We believe this is the exact issue presented in the 2023-2024 recall- USDT investigation EA23003 and issues with 2022 Honda CRV should be included in the recall.

My Honda CRV EX-L traveling roughly 40 mph along a straight and clear road did a sudden hard break once it reached an intersection that had a green signal light. I noticed there was a car stopped on the right side of the intersection. I saw in my console “Braking” pop up message then it disappeared. My foot wasn’t on the brake pedal at all. I felt I was closed to being rear ended because I didn’t engage any braking at all. Time happened around 10:30 am.

My issue seems consistent with NHTSA Action Number PE25016. On March 4, 2026, I was driving and my check engine light start flashing. Shortly thereafter, I lost motive power. I was driving approximately 50 mph at the time. I pulled over and turned my car off and then back on, at which point the check engine light turned off and motive power was restored. I brought my car into the dealership later that day and was told there was nothing wrong with my car as they could not find a fault code and did not experience the loss of motive power while test driving my car. On March 10, 2026, I was driving and my check engine started flashing but I did not lose motive power. On March 14, 2026, I was driving and my check engine light started flashing. Shortly thereafter, I lost motive power. I was driving approximately 50 mph at the time. I pulled over and turned my car off and then back on, at which point the check engine light turned off and motive power was restored.

The brake warning light remains illuminated on the dashboard even when the parking brake is fully disengaged and while the vehicle is in motion. Same when the car is on or turned off. The brake warning light remain on continuously. Because this warning light is associated with the braking system, it creates uncertainty about whether the braking system and related safety systems are functioning properly while the vehicle is being driven. This raises safety concerns. The vehicle currently has approximately 50,000 miles and has been regularly maintained. The vehicle was inspected by a Honda dealership. After evaluation, the dealership indicated the issue may be related to the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) modulator. However, they stated they cannot confirm with certainty that replacing this component will resolve the issue. This will be an expensive repair with no warranty that’s the issue. All other possible issues with pads brake system, wires…were discarded and no code showed on the initial test. Since this warning involves a critical safety system and the cause has not been clearly identified, I am concerned this may represent a potential defect or premature failure of a braking system component.

I was involved in an accident which resulted in my C-RV being totaled. Another vehicle pulled out immediately in front of me and I crashed into it. None of my airbags deployed. My vehicle's emergency response system was activated- it called emergency response and kept repeating that a crash had been detected. The front of my car was crushed in and the impact sent the vehicle that pulled out in front of me, a Toyota 4Runner, doing a full roll and ending up on its side. Clearly, the airbags should have activated. I purchased the CR-V new, was the only owner, the vehicle had less than 5,000 miles on it, had never been in an accident, and there were no warning lights or messages indicating any problem with the airbag system prior to the accident. The car was deemed a total loss by my insurance company.
