As I drove down the street at around 43 miles per hour my car suddenly braked then the sound and sign for brake came on. It came on after the car had breaker already.

As I was driving the vehicle suddenly braked to a complete stop in the middle of a street as I was crossing railroad tracks. I was at significant risk of being rear-ended as the car came to a complete stop without notice; there’s also risk of being run over by the train as I was stopped in the middle of the train tracks.

My 2018 CRV will intermittently have malfunctioning in which all warning indicators will go on flashing. The car seems to drive ok when this happens. Once in a while when this occurs, the car will not start, then eventually it will start again. I have taken to the Honda dealer several times regarding this issue. It was recommended to first fix the Power unit, which I have done around March 2023. In July 2023, the car started up again with all warning lights, once again the car seemed to run ok. I took it in again to Honda and was told that despite the issue, the car can been driven per usual and if I start to have any mechanical issues to bring it in. On September 9th 2023 the warning lights when on again and the car was not starting up. a few more attempts to start vehicle and it started and was running fine. Then the same day after the car was parked for about a half hr, the car would not start. There are numerous issues reported by other owners of the Honda CRVs with this issue. I believe this is a safety concern and Honda needs to create a recall like they did for the Honda pilots. Another issue I have is the AC takes a long time to cool and is not very cold. I live in a climate where the temperatures reach upper 90s and low 100s for 4 months out of the year. Repairs had been made soon after i purchased the vehicle, but the AC never really worked well.

Lost acceleration while driving on major highways on three separate occasions in less than a year's time. Noticed a recall for similar circumstances on the same year and model as mine but was told by dealer that mine was not part of the recall. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed as I do not want to be in a situation where this happens again. These incidents happened in September, 2022, March 2023, and July 2023. I will put the latest date in additional details below. PLEASE NOTE: This is my second notice of safety concern of my vehicle. I sent a complaint to this administration on 08/25/2023 and did not receive any word or confirmation. Please confirm receipt of this information. Thank you for your help.

While driving on a clear day on a relatively flat straight road the CMBS activated and applied the brakes abruptly. There we no objects in the road when the brake light appeared and the car abruptly applied the brakes. There were no apparent conditions that would warrant this action. This issue has only occurred once and the dealer has not yet inspected the car since this incident.

Received the notice about the safety recall in May, made an appointment with Honda for June 14th. On June 6th, they cancelled my appointment because the parts for this recall are on backorder. They told me they'd call me when the parts are available but no one has called me back.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while stopped at a traffic signal and accelerating to approximately 20 MPH to cross the intersection, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to shift into park(P) and restart the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent; however, several times after stalling, several attempts were needed to restart the vehicle. The contact stated vehicle was hesitating while depressing the accelerator pedal before the vehicle responded. The contact stated that the vehicle would not start at one point, and the battery was replaced. The contact stated that the stalling had occurred when the weather was hot. The contact checked the coolant level, and the reservoir was full. Additionally, the contact stated that following an oil change, the brake pedal was depressed with force and the check oil warning light illuminated. The contact stated that after checking the oil level, two quarts of oil needed to be added to top up the oil level. The contact checked for oil leaks but found none. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.

I bought this car from Hillside Honda in Queens, NY in June 8th 2016. It was a floor model that I was told by the salesman I got a great deal on it and I found out later it wasn't true. Let me get to the point, I found out this car is a lemon car. From the frontal airbag to the engine, it's a complete nightmare. My focus is more on the engine itself. The vehicle vibrates too much, I keep this car well maintained. At 62,000 miles, I already changed the fuel pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs, ignition coil, the vehicle is still vibrating and dies while driving. I feel this is completely shocking. Never in my life in the last past decade, I never had any vehicle from 1993 to 2022 which I have this issue with. I reached out to many experienced mechanics, they all told me, this car wasn't built well. What else you need to change to make this car drivable. You can't use the AC on a hot summer, I regret every single day in my life buying a Honda. It was my dream car but I got a lemon. I need help because I'm stuck with this piece of work. I'm not willing to spend a dime more because I am the only owner who drives this vehicle since the day I bought it, I barely drive it because I want it to last long enough so I can enjoy my investment but as I said previously, at 62,000 the vehicle is completely useless. I found out from an OBD port sensor reporting that this vehicle was built with the wrong engine components, therefore it should be replaced. I want someone to conduct an investigation and take necessary action against Honda Motor Co. for what they've done to many consumers out there. I feel embarrassed to talk about this. I even overpaid for this junk and now I'm stuck with it. And I'm not the only one going through this.

Vehicles harness leading to auto dimming rear view mirror was defective and a wire split rendering all my braking capability. The ABS system felt like it was reversing the brakes EVERYTIME I stepped on the pedal. I hit my garage door because of this: Honda wanted me to pay to fix the wire because "I had a handicap plate that probably broke the wire" yet I never put my handicap placard on my mirror but rather on my dashboard. My brakes are electronically controlled due to it having an electric brake booster and AEB, radar cruise control and more. I could have been killed. HONDA DIDNT CARE, made me take the car with no brakes.

My friend reached under the driver seat and felt a bolt under it. Turns out, it was one of the 4 bolts that holds the seats frame to the car. This was the right front bolt and it completely fell out! I checked the other 3 bolts still in, but the left front was also significantly loose! I had to get an Allen wrench and bolt them back in and tighten them! The passenger seat bolts were still in but also very loose! This is dangerous if I was in an accident my front seat bolts weren't tight and one was completely out, only holding the seat in 3 of 4 places!

Car shuts down intermittently after coming to a complete stop and accelerating to continue. It's shutting down in the middle of traffic, which makes for a very dangerous situation for my self, my child (which has witnessed it turn off) and for other drivers approaching my stopped vehicle in the middle of the road, this is very scary and my fear is that one day I won't be able to restart my car on time/in a split second to move it out of traffic quickly and will cause a very bad accident due to this shutting off. It has also shut off while at an incline a few times, which again is very nerve racking, to the point where I stopped using it, though it's my only means of transportation to work prior to dropping my child off for school. NO warning lights or messages have been noticed on the car. I have not had time or money to take it to dealership, only local mechanic which says they can't find any problem, I still have a car loan to pay and other financial obligations. It can be ready for inspection if needed.

While driving the SUV and series of warning lights started going off all at the same time. I took the SUV to Honda dealership and they ran diagnostics and said that all SIX fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Said it was a common problem they we seeing in this make and model of SUV. The faulty fuel injectors was causing fuel pressure problems which sets off all the warning lights is how it was explained to me. Due to the widespread problem with the fuel injectors there was a backlog and wait time of 6 months to order new fuel injectors and replace them. I am just outside of the warranty for the SUV and I went through Honda for Goodwill Assistance. Honda said I was a good candidate to receive because of the low mileage. After many weeks they denied my Goodwill Assistance request and Honda stated they only do Recalls when NHTSA requires them to do a Recall. Please look into faulty fuel injectors because when all the warning lights come on then I loose some of the safety features that come with this SUV. I will be more than willing to provide any other information to prove there's a known and widespread problem with this SUV's fuel injectors. I respectfully request it's investigated and Honda is required to do a Recall. Thank you. There are 11 warning lights that come on, I have provided pictures of a few but listed here are all of them: Electric Parking Brake Problem, Tire Pressure Monitor Problem, Emissions System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Power Steering System (EPS) Problem, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) Problem, Hill Start Assist Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem.

The contact owns a 2002 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that SRS air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front passenger's side air bag needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. Additionally, the contact stated that the front passenger's side seat belt and the rear middle seat belt buckles were not latching securely as designed. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 01V351000 (Seat Belts) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.

I am really going through a very rough patch after buying the Honda CRV in May end 2023 EX-L model , 23/HONDA/CR-V/ AWD EX-L : Warnings Concerns / VIN: [XXX] . Following up from the 3 -month , I purchased the vehicle , but no respite from Honda Dealer & Honda Company, even filed the case with American Honda : Case # [XXX] but they are not providing any solution and referring to Honda dealer and Honda dealer referring to Honda company and I m missed as no body is taking the responsibility. I am seeing an unwanted warning, when I unpark my car, and there is no resolution at the Honda dealer and Honda company itself. warnings which abruptly came when my new Honda CRV got unparked . Details as below "LKAS: lane keeping assist system problem. See your dealer.". "road departure mitigation system problem. See your dealer.", Please help me to reolve this issue, If we paid out what is the intended price, but we are not getting the benefits/comfort what is expected and causing us the multiple trips to Honda showroom and mental agony giving me sleepless nights, if I spend too much for a new vehicle, still getting these kind of discomfort and uneasiness. It seems that customers should be compensated for all these unnecessary troubles and unwanted warnings giving an illusion which makes the driver unformatable which can lead to accidents. I purchased a 2009 Honda CRV in 2017 at the West Chester Scott Honda dealership. This vehicle, when I purchased it, had 38,000 miles on it. A year after I purchased it, there was a problem with the door lock accelerator on the driver's side door. I purchased the Honda part myself and had it repaired. A month after this, the left back passenger side door had the same problem. I purchased another part and had it repaired also. About six months ago, the same problem occurred on the front passenger door and on the right back passenger door. This should not be considered normal wear and tear on a vehicle because this occurred on all four doors. I went on-line and researched that this issue was involved in a class action lawsuit Case ID #2:13-cv-00381. In this information, it was stated that, Honda knew about this problem with the door locks but avoided acknowledging the problem. It was also stated that this issue occurred after the limited 36,0000 mile warranty. It alleged that Honda avoided acknowledging the problem so they would not have to cover repairs. The lawsuit settled and Honda agreed to repair these affected vehicles free of charge. The warranty on these vehicles was also extended from 3 to 6 years or 6 months from the date the settlement was reached. Honda also agreed to reimburse owners who had already paid for this malfunction. When I purchased this vehicle from this Honda dealership, this issue was never mentioned to me. Now I am saddled with this problem and I paid to get this fixed out of my own pocket. I went to this dealership last week for a different recall, I spoke to the supervisor,, he said that he didn't know anything about this. He was very rude. Currently the front passenger door and the right back passenger door are still not working and it locks and you can't open it unless you push the driver side. If there was an accident, I wouldn't be able to open those doors.

- #11542357September 3, 2023ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I purchased my Honda CR-V new from a dealer in 2020. It seemed to work fine, but earlier this year strange things started to happen with the electrical systems. The Remote starter would not work, the door locks and various lights would act strangely. The initial three -year warranty was up, but I had purchased an additional 4-year warranty extension. I took it to the dealer for repair and they said it needed a new Body Management System, which was on back order. several weeks later, I had that replaced, but they said they also had to replace the door locks, so I had to come back and have them do that too. On Sep. 1, I needed something from the car, but the fob wouldn't open the door and I had to use the manual key. I made a service appointment for Sep. 5, however on Sep. 3 I tried to use the car and found that it is totally dead. No electrical or electronic systems are working at all. From what I have read, I am concerned that this is an electrical problem that has been exhibited in many other CR-Vs as well.

On now three separate occasions, the vehicle has suddenly applied emergency braking force during cruising speeds in a residential area. I have noticed the incidents seem to occur when there is plenty of sunlight and high contrasting shadows being cast down on the road ahead. I have brought this up with my local Honda dealer to which they did not show concern and turn me away saying it was just a fluke and ´´should not happen again´´. I have been lucky that there were no cars behind me as they would surely have rear ended me for suddenly braking in the middle of flowing traffic.
