There is a recall to the steering on 2024 Honda civic. I had the steering pull on me towards the right. I am not entirely sure the cause, but would like to address this either way so there is not a potential loss of steering in the future.

The steering has suffered from a sticky or notched feeling off an on for the last 3 years. It seems to happen whenever the car is warm/in hot weather. It feels like the steering gets stuck in place, so you can't smoothly make adjustments. It's worst when you're driving straight or in gradual sloping turns in warm weather. It feels like it sort of clicks out of the rut it's stuck in, generally only to get stuck feeling again immediately. I just gifted the car to my son, and I'm concerned that this will continue to be a problem, since it's never cleared up while I've owned the vehicle. I am the original owner. The mileage is currently 56,220. If I had to guess, the problem has been occurring probably for the last 20K miles? I have asked 2 different Honda Dealerships in the DFW area (Honda Grapevine and Vandergriff Honda) to see if they could figure it out, and both times, they said they couldn't replicate the problem. I saw the recall affecting newer models of these cars and it exactly matches the problem my Honda has been having.

Steering wheel is sticking when trying to make subtle adjustments staying inside the lane. This makes it harder to keep the vehicle inside the lane without jerking the car. There is already a recall out for more recent Honda models regarding this sticking steering issue, but the steering problem is also present in my 2018 model. The sticking steering wheel can cause an accident. There are no warning lights coming up at this time.

- #11623488November 4, 2024FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
my car has one recall part . It say :American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2016-2021 model year Civic vehicles. The fuel pump impeller was improperly moulded, resulting in low density impellers. Over time, the low-density impeller can deform and interfere with the fuel pump body, rendering the fuel pump inoperative. I tried to contact some Honda dealer but they don't have the part to replace Please help me out thank you so much

Several occasions between September, and now the car had difficulty starting. I towed it to two different Hondas, Bowie, darcas and Honda in Silver Spring and nobody was able to help me even though they claim to have done diagnostics on the car.

Received 2 letters regarding fuel pump module and that parts are now available. However, contacted 3 dealerships and Honda National and now being told parts are unavailable till end of the year. Though I have option to have part replaced elsewhere are reimbursed for only part of expense. Problem ongoing since February 2024. I feel Honda is dropping the ball on this safety recall and someone needs to step in to ensure Honda complies and corrects issue asap and not make consumers wait another 10 months.

Reached out to Hill Country Honda, San Antonio Texas since the inception of this recall, approximately 2 years ago, and when I received Honda notifications to contact dealer for scheduling. Received another notification from Honda, today, November 4, 2024 and Service Advisor at Hill Country Honda stated they do not have the part and do not know when they will be receiving and to k=just keep checking in to see if they have the part. This is unsafe, disapointing, and just bad business practice from both Honda and Hill Country Honda.

The driver seatbelt, the portion that accepts the buckle when you "buckle up" has become sloppy over time with excessive free play. This part is free to wobble around. I feel this is a passenger safety risk. The restraint and crash systems in a car work together, and with excessive ship and play in the restraint system, it could experience unexpected forces leading to an interesting or improperly restrained driver. I have spoken to two dealership service departments and neither of them actually inspected the seatbelt, I was only told it would not be replaced under warranty. I told them it is a safety issue, but they do not budge. The seatbelt was inspected by my mechanic who said the part would need replaced, saying there is excessive slop and play in the restraint system. No warning lamps or codes, airbags have never deployed, clean title. Going back to Honda dealer tomorrow to have them actually inspect the restaurant system and put in writing that they aren't willing to replace or repair it, when I went yesterday, neither of the two dealership service departments even visually inspected my seatbelt.
