FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
The idle stop system every time I turn it off it will automatically come back on and this feature makes me feel as if when it keeps doing that after I’m constantly turning it off from it popping back on that sometimes it don’t want to catch speed. I for see this being a long term issue if all Hondas are like this .

Everytime I start my car in the cold I get all these warning messages on my dash, in this case it just let me choose 2 options but I also get Auto idle stop problem, mitagation problem etc. I took it to the dealer they dont know what could be the proble. There are no recallas on this and people on forums are saying it can be a module. This is dangerous.

STEERING
While driving on the road at about 45 MPH the power steering locked and the vehicle pulled off the road. The dealer ship stated is a known issue with faulty steering motors but the vehicle is not on a recall. This is hazardous and potentially deadly situation to be in.

ABS system failed and is not working properly. Also the screen in the car for all of my interaction with my car including Bluetooth and any errors involving the car. If my brakes go out in the middle of driving it could cause me and my family to be unable to protect ourselves. I have confirmed the system with 2 different mechanics and both agree there should be a recall. The warning lamps go off and on and are unpredictable.

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the emergency brake warning light would intermittently flash on the instrument panel. One day while at a complete stop, the automatic emergency braking system activated without incident upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The dealer was notified about the failure but offered no assistance. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
At 53,000, I began getting simultaneous errors light up the dashboard. I code reader indicated I had misfires on cylinder 3. Replaced spark plugs even though the originals are rated to near 100,000 miles. Ended up needing to have fuel injectors replaced by the dealer for $1300. Upon further research, this seems to be a common problem for these 1.5T engines caused by either faulty injectors or engine design. I purchase Honda for reliability and do not expect this kind of issue on a vehicle with that low of mileage. Honda should extend the warranty and offer reimbursement to those affected by this issue.

STEERING
There is a creaking noise coming from underneath the steering wheel when turning the wheel left or right. The sound is audible when driving at slow and moderate speeds when turning the wheel greater than ~90 degrees in either direction. The main concern is that the noise could indicate a more severe safety problem in the future. Vehicle is currently being inspected by the dealer after recreating the problem at the service center. No additional warning messages are displayed on the car.

Push/Start button has intermittent episodes of not starting the vehicle. Throughout all of Honda's models, this is a wide spread and known entity. The manufacturer has had recalls up to a certain date for this problem. Now they claim ignorance for this known malfunctioning part. I presume to save money and have consumers pay hundreds of dollars for a known but denied by Honda.... problem !!!

It seems like the steering gear assembly is making a popping/clicking noise when stopped or at slow speeds. This has been diagnosed by an independent shop and inspected by a Honda Master Technician and confirmed that the steering gear assembly has an internal issue. It was informed to me to have the car immediately serviced at the dealership due to a MAJOR safety concern to myself and others on the road as if the steering gear were to malfunction it could cause a crash. There are no warning lamps or any messages on the dashboard that has popped up. And there has been no other symptoms leading up to this issue. The vehicle is also available for inspection upon any request. No insurance representatives, police have inspected the vehicle

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
On Sept 25, 2024, my car completely turned off as I was pulling out from a side road to cross a 4 lane road. Fortunately, it was mid-morning and no cars were coming. I was able to coast to the far ride lane and put hazard lights on. A light came on--a gas can with something dripping from it and possibly some other lights. It was extremely scary and happened with no warning whatsoever. It could have caused a fatal accident in another situation. I had never seen this light come on before nor had any problems with the car stalling. GREENSBORO HONDA inspected the car and determined that it was the low pressure fuel pump and that most likely the "O" ring had gotten pinched. They have seen this before in Hondas. It's a common problem and my research revealed many Hondas have been recalled for this very problem, but not my particular car. They determined that the fuel pump had to be replaced at a cost to me of $1,200. I made a claim with American Honda and it was denied because there had not been a recall and because the car was no longer under warranty.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. There were no warning lights illuminated. The battery was replaced before the failure. The vehicle was jumpstarted but failed to start. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact called another local dealer Honda of Tomball (22727 Tomball Pkwy, Tomball, TX 77375); but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

While backing out of my garage, my daughter observed flames coming out from the front center of the hood. I then put the car into park, and we got out of the car. I opened the hood, and observed smoke coming out of the alternator, and flames coming from the lower engine area. I then went into my garage to get my fire extinguisher, and put out the flames. I then phoned a towing service to transport my 2010 Honda Accord to the Mobil Station at 12 mile and Farmington Roads where I normally have my Honda serviced. I then telephoned my mechanic at the Mobil station to let him know that the two truck would deliver my car to him shortly. My mechanic then recommended replacing the alternator and started, which I agreed to. The next repair was to replace the engine wiring in my Honda Accord, which did not repair the vehicle. After 8-9 days, could not repair my 2010 Honda Accord, On October 8, 2024 my neighbor and I visited Suburban Honda in Farmington Hills, and were told to contact Honda America to open a case, which we did. After phoning 800-999-1009, and sharing the details of the engine compartment fire, an official Honda case [XXX] was opened to document the engine fire in my 2010 Honda Accord. the engibe over heats above 230 the car has for the 4th time broke down on major highway endangering the kids and in insecure area of the road where you can get murdered the dealer says this is normal defect of the coolant system i don't think buying a 2024 with known defects normal the dealer says there are so many thermostats on order across the US that it will take 1 to 4 months to get the part then here is the best comment it will happen again so this is normal condition of a $70000 car what do you think please advise and by the way they told me to fix the problem i should trade in my car i don't have a lot of money and struggling to buy food fir my kids HELP
