the fuel pump on my 2013 honda accord went out. Ive taken the vehicle to the honda dealer multiple times to get it diagnosed and they keep telling me its the high pressure fuel pump and once replaced my car will run smoothly.NOT the case ive replaced it more than 6 times, my car still stalls and turns off at random so im unable to drive the vehicle. it starts and drives but you have to look at the rpms while driving, if i go over 2000 rpms itll stall. when the issue first started i was at a redlight when the vehicle stalled, thankfully no one was around me since it was late but had there been traffic my car would have been hit. i have 2 children and I cant and will not put them in that car knowing it has a problem no one is willing to take a deep dive into. Due to this issue multiple lights on the dash are on and wont go off until the problem is fixed.

I am writing to report an issue with my 2016 Honda Accord. The radio frequently produces a static noise, which poses a distraction and potential safety risk while driving. Component/System Failed: The radio system. Availability for Inspection: Yes, the radio is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risk: The static noise distracts me while driving, potentially endangering my safety and that of others. Problem Reproduced/Confirmed: Yes, the issue has been confirmed by an independent service center. Inspection by Manufacturer/Authorities: The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer or any authorities. Warning Symptoms: The static noise started occurring intermittently about one months ago and has become more frequent. Other people have made forums online complaining about this issue. [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] This tend to be a common problem with the Honda Accord and should be recalled as it is a safety risk and Honda refuses to fix the radio for free even though it is a manufacturing issue. The headlight assembly DRL (Daytime Running Lights) LEDs are burnt out and have melted due to daytime lights running too hot. These are a complete sealed assembly and need to be replaced as a unit due to mechanical failure from manufacture defect.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
The issue has been observed repeatedly and confirmed by my service center during each replacement. It has occurred in different environments and driving conditions, and despite repairs, the problem persists. Honda refuses to replace headlamps after multiple faliures The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by my service center, but the manufacturer has not directly inspected it. No police or insurance representatives have been involved in the inspections. Each time the repair is made “All looks normal” The problem is preceded by a warning light on the dashboard indicating a headlight malfunction. Shortly after, the headlight fails, and then the turn signal malfunctions. The first instance of this problem occurred around 28,000 milesand it has recurred multiple times since then.

In the last several years my daughter’s Honda Accord has stalled multiple times leaving her stranded and us having to have the vehicle towed. This last time was this evening in the middle of a busy intersection to get on a ramp to a highway. She was unable to get out of the car due to traffic and barely avoided getting rear ended. The time before was in the middle of the interstate. The car just died. We have had it towed multiple times to auto shops and have been told it is a fuel pump issue and the recall on the car needs fixed. I have tried repeatedly to get this fixed and I’ve been told that none of the dealers have the parts from Honda that once a dealership gets a part and they will let us know. I asked what are we supposed to do till then as this is an extreme safety hazard for my daughter to drive this car, and have gotten no answers to when this part will even be in.

My ABS, TRACTION CONTROL, BRAKE & TPMS LIGHTS have been ON for the past few months. My tire air pressure is fine. The dealer claims I need to replace the VSA MODULE at the cost est @ $1900. After my personal investigation, I have learned Honda has had numerous customer complaints of these same issues on 2012-2013 Honda Accords.

My wife thought she locked her keys in the car and I got a hanger to try and get in by putting hanger in window and pulling the latch for trunk and then pull the lever to fold down the back seat and then I crawled in from trunk and when I lifted the back seat to look on seat it latched and I was locked in car! I could not open any doors or windows and it was very hot that day and it was even hotter inside the car. I thought I was gonna die! I was trying to yell but nobody was around and my son in law just happen to pull up and I was screaming beating on the window and he heard me and saw me and rushed over and I told him to pull the latch in trunk to open back seat and he found the latch and I was able to crawl out. I thought I was gonna die!! You cannot get out of that car if you are inside and the locks are locked. There was a time not long before that my wife and I went to store and she went in and I was gonna come in after I got done with my phone call I was on and when I tried to open the door it would not open and I had to wait for her to come out of store to unlock the car so I could get out. After this last incident I was so shaken up I didn't know what to do until my brother in law told me to file a complaint before it happens to someone else that might not get lucky like I did and to call an attorney which is what I'm gonna do regardless of what they do about it. I'm a grown adult and could not get out of that car and if that were to happen to a child I don't wanna even think about what would happen and that is why I'm making this complaint so it can be fixed before it happens again if it already hasn't.

I’ve been trying to get my part replaced since August and I’ve been hundreds of dollars in between that time till now WASTING MONEY! And I’ve been told by 3 different dealerships that because I wasn’t experiencing what they considered major issues that they decided to not see me for the recall based off the information provided. I spoke with someone yesterday that I spoke to weeks ago about the same thing, and was told they didn’t have the part then when I asked to speak to a manager, he put me on hold and told me the part was in. I haven’t been able to drive my car since last Friday. It’s a huge inconvenience, as getting this part replaced would eliminate that issue I had to beg and threaten ppl jobs to get it replaced! But the amount of money I’ve wasted and fallen behind on MY BILLS IS CRAZY!!!!!! Honda should be cutting me check for the money loss as result so I can pay on things I had to wait on.. or create arrangements for along with having to ask my family for help because of the money I’ve been wasting the last two months

Collision Mitigation automatically engaged causing vehicle to brake when unnecessary. Once after excelling from a redlight and again when entering a highway on ramp. I am writing to let you know that 10/2/2024 my 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid Sport had sudden loss of drive-line power while I was traveling on the highway at 75mph. I was able to safely coast/navigate to the shoulder and stop. Steering and braking systems were normal. The car would not drive or restart once stopped. A tow truck was called to tow my car to the nearest Honda dealer to be fixed. There were no warning lights or sounds prior to this incident. Dealer determined root cause of problem was PCM not communicating with charging system. The PCM was replaced under warranty and my car was ready for pickup 10/18/2024

ABS Module has failed and brake, ABS and traction control lights remain on; causing braking issue. This component has failed in many vehicles of this type per mechanic and should be recalled. There is very little mileage on the vehicle around 50K. A safety recall is apparent as if injury occurs Honda is liable, as an elderly person owns the vehicle. Vehicle does not stop as it should and will not receive an inspection sticker. This should not be on the consumer given the amount of low mileage.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000(Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle failed to restart and was pushed to the side of the road with assistance. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle on another occasion, the vehicle was able to start after an hour approximately. Additionally, the contact stated while driving 30-50 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle hesitated to respond. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuel pump had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The local dealer and several unknown dealers were contacted and informed the contact that the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

“Brake system problem” was shown on the dashboard along with tire pressure problems and other messages. After the message, I couldn’t accelerate nor brake my vehicle. It happens randomly for 3 times and they fixed it for 2 times. The second fix last 5 months before I have this issue again in October 2024.

To the highway safety I would like to inform that I purchased a 2018 honda accord and it has been nothing but a nightmare and safety issue for me and my family. What happens is the car at random times will turn on the cmbs system basically when that happens it is hard to brake or even control the car all lights on the dashboard panel light up honda says it’s just bc we the people don’t understand the function and how it works but that is not the case on social media places like websites and ticktock you can see videos of the issues and no one cares how is it okay for honda to sell a car that brakes randomly or tells you to brake when no cars in front or even when there is but it’s a decent speed where you have space please I have read and read news and every time I see a honda I think bet it was a cmbs issue please please have them fix it it’s dangerous . This happens at random times sometimes no cars even on the road when I take it to Honda each time basically all they do is reset it by turning battery of what !!!! That’s dangerous please help

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
There is a problem with the infotainment system. Apparently when the car is exposed to warmer temperatures, the sound system begins to produce static sounds from the speakers. The sound persists even with the radio turned off. The static is so loud, I have recorded decibel levels up to 90 on my Apple Watch. I have researched this problem and it is an issue that many owners have encountered. Honda has reacted to many owners as if they are unaware of this issue and charge customers to diagnose the problem and fix the issue at the owners expense. I am wearing ear plugs in order to drive my vehicle to and from work. In order to make the sound stop is to remove the fuse under the hood, which in turn dismantles safety features such as side view camera, AM radio, and the reverse camera. Honda denies knowing about this issue and it is extremely dangerous to drive this vehicle due to the deafening sound created from the speakers.
