Summary2023 Bronco vehicles built on or before 11-Jul-2023 and equipped with a 6-speaker sound system includes a non-operational rear amplifier. This non-operational amplifier (service part number N2DZ-18C804-B) will not produce sound by design from the rear subwoofer. The Ford accessories team offers a JBL sound bar for Bronco. The JBL sound bar is not compatible and will not function with Bronco vehicles equipped with the 6 speaker sound system built on or before 11-Jul-2023. The JBL non-amplified sound bar Ford accessory part numbers VM2DZ18808J and VM2DZ18808K will not work with this vehicle configuration. The Ford Accessory website is in the process of being updated.

To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to address water intrusion and reprogram the CHCM.

SummarySome 2023 Bronco vehicles built on or after 12-Jul-2023 have new software for the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). This software contains enhancements to the operation of the window short drop feature. Vehicles with this new software will exhibit a short drop event to all door windows anytime the vehicle is unlocked using the remote keyless entry (RKE), accessory keyless entry keypad, or the interior door unlock switch. For vehicles equipped with passive entry, a short drop event will not activate when a door is unlocked by placing a hand on an exterior door handle. The Owner's Manual and Workshop Manual are in process of being updated. This enhancement is currently being investigated for application into vehicles built prior to this running production change. SummaryDuring replacement of the electronic front stabilizer bar disconnect assembly on 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles, removal and replacement of the sta-bar harness is required. To assist engineering with root cause analysis of failed sta-bar disconnect assemblies, include the sta-bar harness with the part in the same package when returning warranty replacement sta-bar disconnect assembly. The sta-bar disconnect assembly return should also be packaged in the original box with all protective insulators in place to properly protect it during shipping. Use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of OASIS to submit a report with photos attached (if possible) for any front stabilizer bar disconnect concerns.

This may be due to the software in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM), the transmission solenoid ID strategy, sticking valves in the main control valve body and/or axial movement of the CDF clutch cylinder (7H351) sleeve.
