SummaryDuring service and repair requiring removal and replacement of a crankshaft bolt and/or crankshaft damper, achieving proper torque of the crankshaft pulley bolt is critical. Incorrect torque may allow the bolt to loosen resulting in the timing gear breaking and engine damage. Replacement of the bolt is critical to the repair and accurately following the installation procedure in the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section, 303-01 is extremely important. The bolt torque procedure can be found in the crankshaft front seal removal and installation procedure or in the engine assembly procedure.

SummaryThis article supersedes TSB 23-2019 to update the model years affected, add an additional labor operation, and correct the part number called out in the Service Procedure. Some 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with a MT88 manual transmission may experience a rotational scraping noise while the transmission is in neutral, 1st or 2nd gear with the clutch pedal released and may be more noticeable in ambient temps below 10ðC (50ðF) and after a cold soak. This noise may diminish as the transmission warms up. This may be due to the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings.

SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco (non-Raptor) vehicles built on or before 09-Jul-2023 may exhibit a fluid leak from the front drive axle pinion seal. This may be due to operating the vehicle under high load. If leaking, replace the pinion seal following Workshop Manual (WSM) section 205-03A > Removal and Installation > Drive Pinion Flange and Seal. To prevent subsequent seal leaks, the front differential fluid must also be replaced using the revised specification Motorcraftî SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant, part number XY-75W85-QL. Refer to WSM section 205-03A > General Procedures > Differential Draining and Filling. If diagnostics do not resolve the concern or there are no DTCs present in the AWD module, reprogram the AWD module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. Refer to the appropriate section of the WSM. Once the repair is complete, verify the vehicle's ability to successfully enter and exit neutral tow mode by cycling the vehicle in and out of neutral tow mode a minimum of two times, allowing the vehicle to enter sleep mode (key-off for at least 5 minutes) be
