SERVICE BRAKES, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
My abs module has malfunctioned so I lost anti lock brakes traction control and cruise control. The dealership has no parts and don't know when they can them. I also have another vehicle from chrysler with same issue They have no idea when they will get parts and want me to pay up front before they order it. I find that wrong in so many ways. I called chrysler and they didn't give a darn. I asked if car was safe to drive and all I got was I don't know. I don't know about you but this is pure bs this should be a recall item I mean it's only the brake system. This a huge problem it's not just chrysler they all bought cheap Chinese parts and they don't work. You need to put a fire up [XXX] to fix this before someone dies They are putting thousands of new cars out and they rest of us can't get parts. The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at 55 MPH on wet roads, the vehicle pulled to the right while depressing the brake pedal. The ABS, brake, and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS had failed. The dealer informed the contact that the parts were on backorder until April or longer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, opened a case, and stated that the parts were on backorder. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V675000 (Electronic Stability Control, Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

Abs, brake, and traction light coming on coded c2200-49 told there was a recall and when I called the dealership they said it wasn't for my vehicle but they couldn't even order the part because they're having to replace them on so many and they are not in stock anywhere until after April 15th. If this has been an issue with other vehicles and is currently an issue with mine why is it not under the recall??? 2012 Dodge Journey sxt

The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that the vehicle would not immediately start, and white exhaust smoke was coming from the vehicle. Also, the message "Coolant Low" was displayed although the coolant reservoir was full. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the head gasket was faulty. The head gasket was replaced but the coolant message continued to display. The contact also indicated that the back over prevention camera was faulty, and condensation was present inside the driver's side front headlight housing. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 65,000.

I will be driving the vehicle and it will go completely dark, no electrical function, shuts right off in the middle of traffic. After a period of time, everything will power back up. This happens randomly and is very dangerous. I took the car to the dealer and initially, they said it was the battery. I replaced the battery and just as I got in the car at the dealer, the car went dark again. This time they were able to see that it is still happening and so far they have not been able to find the cause. I've read online about at least 3 other people having the same issue with no solution found to date. Currently the vehicle is at Courtesy Chrysler in Tampa, FL.

The rearview camera was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 59,000.

Wind (40+ MPH) caught the door while I was opening it. The spring that holds it open and stops it in a certain position broke. The tack welds on the spring snapped and threw the spring into the car. The dealer service department is closed today, and the insurance is going to be contacted on Monday.

My backup camera doesn’t work at all! Just a black screen. so it doesn’t comply with the law… I can’t see to back up at all. If you google the 2018 journey it says there is a recall on the backup camera but when I put my vin number in it doesn’t pop up as a recall but this needs to be a recall and is very dangerous it hasn’t been inspected but it readily available if h would like to came inspect it. There was no lamps warning signs or anything?

The vehicle shuts off while driving. It has occurred 6 times over the course of a year. It results in a total loss of power, steering, brakes creating a very unsafe scenario. It has happened 5 times while doing above 35 mph and in one case above 50 mph and resulting in one missed stop sign. This creates a tremendous level of anxiety. I have taken it in on four occasions to reputable repair facilities Christian brothers automotive for repair three times soon to be four times and CarMax once. Three times I was turned away with no help only inspection fees. The fourth time Christian brothers replaced cam shaft sensors only to have another incident while driving 40mph down the road. Thankfully I was able to stop safely and now I have another appointment scheduled for service. I feel like there is a safety miss on this vehicle.
