SummaryBrake Fluid Flush Voluntary Service Campaign Dealer Announcement: Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, replace the Antilock Braking System (ABS) actuator on 320,616 specific model year 2010-2014 Nissan Murano, 2011-2014 Murano CrossCabriolet, and 2011-2015 Quest vehicles identified in Service Comm. All affected vehicles will have the brake fluid replaced (DOT3 to DOT4 fluid). Dealers will inspect the ABS actuator using Consult. If needed, the ABS actuator will be replaced. An ownerâs manual insert will be provided to customers with instruction to use DOT4 brake fluid to prevent the subject condition from reoccurring, and the brake fluid reservoir cap will be changed. A potential chemical reaction between the valve surface coating (Chromate layer) and the DOT3 brake fluid may cause a Gel to form around the normally closed (âNCâ) valve. In some cases, it can cause the NC valve to be stuck open. The NC valve inside the ABS actuator may stick open and direct additional brake fluid flow to a reservoir inside the ABS actuator. As a result, the brake fluid pressure may fluctuate and the customer may experience increased brake pedal travel. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale. What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. P0A08. ï§Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 2.Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3.Dealers should use NTB21-047 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. â¢All inspections should have a technician completed form in ASIST. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P0A08 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

SummaryNISSAN; VIBRATION AND/OR NOISE WHEN MAKING LOW SPEED TURNS IF YOU CONFIRM There is a vibration or judder feeling from the rear of the vehicle during the following conditions: ï· When making turns ï· On dry roads ï· At low speeds (under 40 MPH) And ï· The above vibration does not occur if the Electric Controlled Coupling is electrically disconnected. NOTE: In some cases, electrically disconnecting the Electric Controlled Coupling may not eliminate the vibration as described above. In these cases, further confirm the incident by removing the rear propeller shaft and retest. If the vibration does not occur with the rear propeller shaft removed, the incident is confirmed. IMPORTANT: Tire size, brand or tread pattern mismatches can cause similar symptoms. To avoid tire related mismatch vibration, it is recommended that when tires need to be replaced, all tires are replaced at the same time with tires of the proper size, same brand and pattern. See ACTION on page 2.
