SummaryDTC C1116 AND/OR C1142 STORED IN THE ABS CONTROL MODULE IF YOU CONFIRM Customer states the ABS warning light is ON and âSystem fault See Ownerâs Manualâ appears in the message center (Figure 1), AND DTCs C1116 (Stop Lamp Switch) and/or C1142 (Press Sen Circuit) are stored in the ABS Control Module. ACTION Follow the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to: 1. Install the Center High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Relay and Jumper Harness. 2. Install a new Stop Lamp Switch. 3. Reprogram the ABS Control Module. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair.

SummaryNOISE AND/OR VIBRATION FROM FRONT OR REAR PROPELLER SHAFT SERVICE INFORMATION If you confirm abnormal noise and/or vibration is coming from the front or rear propeller shaft of an APPLIED VEHICLE, inspect the propeller shaft journals (U-Joints) for binding and/or abnormal noise before replacing the propeller shaft. If binding and/or abnormal noise is confirmed from the propeller shaft U-Joints, replace the propeller shaft U-Joints. Refer to the ESM for the propeller shaft U-Joint replacement procedure. NOTE: Replacement of the propeller shaft due to noise and/or vibration caused by the propeller shaft U-Joints may result in warranty charge back.

This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to ensure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customersâ expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance Hold on all 2020-2022 Nissan Frontier and 2020-2023 Nissan Titan vehicles due to an investigation of a potential transmission issue. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. Dealers may continue to repair vehicles subject to Recall R22A1 and R22A7; however these vehicles are subject to this quality hold after repair. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. 2. Nissan is currently investigating a potential concern with the transmission. Additional information on next steps will be provided as soon as possible.

SummaryDRIVERâS POWER SEAT RECLINES UNINTENTIONALLY SERVICE INFORMATION Refer to the information in this bulletin when diagnosing a customer concern of the driverâs (LH) power seat recline position changing unintentionally on a 2022-2023 Frontier. Not all customer concerns mean there are broken or malfunctioning parts. Use this information to help explain normal operation to the vehicle owner. The driverâs seat recline switch (Figure 1) can be bumped when exiting/entering the vehicle (Figure 2), resulting in unintentional recline of the seat upper. Do not replace the side finisher/switch unless visible damage to the seat switch is present.
