I am writing to report an additional safety‑related incident involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. This vehicle previously experienced propulsion issues that I reported under NHTSA Case Number 11692887. On the morning of February 4, 2026, while driving to work on a busy interstate (approximately 12 miles from home), the vehicle again began exhibiting propulsion instability. The vehicle experienced repeated surging and thrusting movements that became progressively more severe during the drive. During these events, the check‑engine light intermittently illuminated and then turned off. This incident occurred exactly seven days after my vehicle was evaluated by Sam Leman Dodge on January 27, 2026, for three open safety recalls. At that visit, I was provided paperwork indicating that the issues had been addressed. However, as of today, the official Jeep/Mopar recall website still shows multiple serious and active safety recalls for my VIN, including recalls involving fire risk and sudden loss of motive power. After the February 4 incident, I contacted the dealership, and their service department advised me not to drive the vehicle and recommended that it be towed to the dealership for evaluation. I followed this guidance due to the severity of the propulsion behavior and the safety concerns involved. Given the recurrence of propulsion instability, the worsening severity of the surging behavior, the dealer’s recommendation not to drive the vehicle, and the presence of multiple unresolved safety recalls, I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance in ensuring that the manufacturer addresses these issues and restores the vehicle to a safe operating condition. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Recognize that this is the second time I have emailed the NHTSA regarding propulsion issues with this vehicle (Earlier Case Number 11692887). Please help me build a relationship with Jeep to ensure this vehicle is restored to a safe condition.

Klamath Falls Dodge Dealership and Stellantis have failed to repair the defects cited in the A7C, 68C and 78C. My vehicle is subject to sudden stops and sudden fires. The vehicle has been at the dealership since 12/28/2025. I filed a claim online and with certified mail with Stellantis. No action has been taken to correct the defects and the vehicle can't be driven in a safe manner.

While driving at highway speed, my 2018 Jeep wrangler violently shakes in the wheel. It is unpredictable and very concerning. This is very unsafe as you have no control over this violent shaking, and you aren’t sure of what could happen. This appears to be a very common issues in the jeeps as there are various reports of this occurring. There is no warning lamps, messages, etc. when this occurs. This is a very big safety issue that needs to be addressed. After taking it to get looked at, I was made aware this could occur for several reasons in the car. All of these reasons should be addressed and fixed as this is a very known issue.

THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME FOR SURE I WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT IN THE REAR, I AM SO AFRAID TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE , AS THIS HAS HAPPENED ON TWO OCCASIONS LATE SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 14 2025. ALREADY. Vehicle Safety Complaint – Instrument Cluster Failure Component/System Failed: The instrument cluster (dashboard display), part number 68522503AD, malfunctioned and intermittently went completely black while the vehicle was in operation. The vehicle and component were available for inspection and were inspected and repaired at Tomball DCJR. Safety Risk: When the instrument cluster malfunctioned, I could not see vehicle speed, warning indicators, gear position, or other critical safety information. AutoNation CDJR Spring instructed me to continue driving the vehicle and rely on a mobile phone app to view speed, increasing distraction and crash risk. Stellantis later instructed me to drive the unsafe vehicle to another dealership, showing disregard for my safety. Problem Confirmation: The defect was diagnosed in April 2025 at AutoNation CDJR Spring while the vehicle was under warranty. The dealer confirmed the cluster qualified for warranty replacement but released the vehicle back to me against my wishes due to parts backorder, despite it being unsafe. Stellantis repeatedly refused to assist after I filed complaints. Inspections: In January 2026, after the condition worsened, AutoNation CDJR Spring again refused service. Tomball DCJR inspected the vehicle, confirmed internal cluster failure, test-drove it and observed the display shutting off, then removed and replaced the cluster. I was forced to pay $111.63 for installation despite the repair being warranty-related. Warnings/Symptoms Prior to Failure: The issue began as water-like droplets or spots inside the cluster glass that could not be wiped off, reducing visibility of safety information. The spots increased over time, visual clarity worsened, and the display eventually went completely black while driving. Summary: Jeep/Stellantis and AutoNation CDJR Spring failed to repair a known, worsening safety defect under warranty and instructed me to continue operating an unsafe vehicle.

Vehicle Safety Incident & Recall Case Summary In approximately October 2025, while my son was driving the vehicle on Highway 85 at approximately 70 mph, the car suddenly shut off and lost power without warning. He was able to safely pull over to the side of the road and had to restart the vehicle in order to continue driving. At the time of this incident, the vehicle had only a few thousand miles. As a parent, I am deeply concerned about my son’s safety, particularly given that this power loss occurred at highway speeds without warning. Shortly after this incident, I personally experienced a separate failure while driving the vehicle, during which the car would not accelerate as expected. This created an additional and serious safety concern during normal driving conditions. We brought the vehicle to an authorized Jeep dealership for evaluation. The dealership informed us that this issue was associated with a known recall and advised that there was no available fix or remedy at that time. In addition to this recall, the vehicle is subject to two other active safety recalls, both of which also lack available repairs: A recall involving sand or debris in the engine, which may impact engine performance and long-term reliability. A recall involving the high-voltage battery, for which we have since received additional notices advising us not to charge the vehicle and not to park it inside or near structures due to a fire risk. There is currently no fix available for this defect. We selected this vehicle specifically as an electric vehicle, in part because it was intended to be charged and used safely at home and to avoid the ongoing cost of gasoline. The current instructions not to charge the vehicle and to avoid parking it inside or near structures eliminate the vehicle’s intended purpose and expected use. Because of the loss of power at highway speeds, the failure to accelerate, the ongoing safety concerns, and the existence of multiple unresolved safety recal

ABS brake module (Part # 68145835AE) is a known defect on Jeep Wranglers 2012-2014. This part becomes defective, eliminating the ABS braking feature, also causing other transmission related problems. The real problem is Mopar support. Currently, NATIONALLY, this part is, and has been on back order (over 300 backorders) with no expectations of being available. I have been waiting for this part for over 6 months (no ABS) and problems with the vehicle have been escalating. This is a known problem, discussed on JEEP Forum.com, Mopar parts suppliers and among dealerships

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that the vehicle was difficult to start. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. Additionally, the contact stated that there was an alarm related to the battery that was sounded. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); and the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where a software update was performed on several occasions; however, the failure worsened. The message "Check Electrical System" was displayed, and the check engine warning light and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the high-voltage battery needed to be replaced. The contact was advised that the vehicle needed to remain with the dealer for a month. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000. The VIN was not available.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler experiences violent front-end oscillation at highway speeds after hitting bumps, resulting in temporary loss of steering control. The dealer suspects the steering stabilizer but refuses warranty repair due to inability to replicate. This is a safety issue that I am gravely concerned about.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is subject to multiple active safety recalls involving fire risk, including Safety Recall 78C which currently has no remedy and is under stop-sale status. The manufacturer has issued written advisories restricting normal use and parking. I requested a manufacturer buyback due to loss of use and safety impairment. Stellantis corporate acknowledged the issue but has not provided a written determination or resolution despite multiple follow-ups and compliance escalation. The vehicle remains unsafe for normal use with no repair timeline, and the manufacturer is refusing to address loss of use.

The ABS module on my Jeep is failing with a C2200 code andthe ABS, Brake, and traction control lights illuminated on the dash. This is a very common problem with Jeep Wranglers as has been noted in several online communities. Some have been waiting literally years for a replacement part from their dealerships with none either being made or delivered and no solution for repair for thousands of people. This is clearly a major safety issue for thousands of people with Wrangler from the years 2008 - 2019. This needs to be a recall.

The ABS Module for my 2013 Jeep JK Unlimited is not functioning anymore and the manufacturer discontinued the ABS Module and its chip, not allowing repair services to fix them. So I am stuck driving my Jeep with no ABS brakes and placing the car at risk of driving.

The ABS Control module has been out on my vehicle since May 2025. Which is when the part was ordered by my dealership through MOPAR as the part is only sold through MOPAR directly. This part cannot be replaced through third party and requires a MOPAR agent to scan to the vehicle. This has been a systemic issue where it has been referred to as a “galactic back order” In the cars manual from Jeep when there are issues with the ABS control module it lists this as a critical safety issues and to take it directly to a dealership for service. When this issue is present it disables Electronic stability control (ESC), Anti locking braking system (ABS), Descent assist control, and cruise control. This increases safety issues especially when driving on slick winter or wet roadways. I wonder how many other people had an issue like this and contributed to an accident? When an inquiry is submitted to find out more about this issue from the order it’s going to be sent out on x date then x date comes and it gets pushed back now it’s y date then z. per stelantis this part is under their “engineer review” and now it’s unknown when they will release this part.

My ABS, Brake and Traction Control lights all came on 1 month ago. Error code from shop is C2200 indicating a faulty ABS Module. They cannot find a replacement from any Jeep dealers. My online search also unsuccessful as none of the sites have them in stock. Been told by everyone that there is a national shortage and none are available due to Jeep not making them either anymore or cannot keep up with the demand. Now I cannot drive my Jeep safely and there is no timely help. This is a HUGE issue!
