TIRES
Hello, I have a set of 4 Bridgestone Dueler LX tires that have been cracking for the past 8 months and now appear to be separating in between the treads. I’ve had America’s Tire Company look at them within the past 6 months and they always seem to state that it’s normal, but the cracks seem to be getting bigger and bigger. The wheels vibrate some, even after several re-balancing attempts. The tires were purchased on [XXX] and I don’t feel safe driving on these tires anymore to the point that I really hesitate driving on the freeway now for that they might fail/explode. I will be submitting a call/claim directly with Bridgestone at 800-847-3272 tomorrow as well. The tire size is P235/70R 16. There has been no incident yet, so I will use today's date. Of the photos uploaded, IMG's 3506 and 3507 were recently placed in the rear and IMG 3508 are in the back. Here are the DOT #'s in no particular order: [XXX]. I have reported the issue once before. Took it back to dealer for service. Serviced by Rock Honda on May 28, 2024. They swore issue was resolved and I had to pay out of pocket. Same problem. Loss of All Wheel Drive function, car nearly stalls out while at highway speeds and on surface streets (loss of power and bucks hard). Warning message appears for AWD system advising no power. I am convinced that I got a lemon. This car is absolute trash. Daily occurrence with this problem.

When driving the car and stopped, the car goes into idle engine automatically. There are have been 5 incidents where the engine wouldn’t turn back on. The car starts beeping and flashing to put in park, shut off and restart. This is extremely dangerous when in the middle of traffic, cars honking and my children in the car getting nervous. Luckily I have not had an accident yet and figured out how to not use the “idle stop” feature to prevent this from happening but it’s not a long term solution as I have to stop idle feature every time the car is turned on.

1.Engine connecting rod bearing failed causing engine to seize. 2.Push button start will not work most of time so cannot start car or shut it off at times Safety: Engine locked up while driving down a 2 lane road with no shoulder. Causing an issues with cars traveling in both directions till i could get vehicle towed. Starting/ shutting off issue is on going. Connecting rod bearing failure was confirmed by dealer, but Honda says my Vin is not part of the recall and will do nothing about it. Had to pay for repairs 7K+ out of my own pocket. I got engine replaced and 6 months later start/ stop button issue is happening and they had a recall for this also that they say my Vin is not included. When engine bearing seized happened suddenly. All lights on dash come on and engine stopped. When tried to restart engine would not turn. They start button issue has a message saying electronic start problem.

THE ACC AND LKAS DO NOT WORK ON MY 2019 HONDA PILOT. THE DEALER IS SAYING THAT IT IS THE FRONT WINDSHIELD CAMERA. THIS PUT ME AND OTHERS AT RISK BECAUSE THE CRUISE CONTROL DOESN'T WORK, THE LANE ASSIST DOSEN'T WORK, THE AUTO BRAKING DOESN'T WORK. THESE CONTROLS ARE MEANT TO HELP CURB DRIVER FATIGUE, AND TO BASICALLY KEEP YOUR CAR IN THE PROPER LANE AND A SAFE DISTANCE FROM OTHER CARS. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY THE DEALER AND CAN BE FIXED BY THE DEALER BY REPLACING THE CAMERA TO THE TUNE OF $1900.00. WHEN YOU START THE CAR YOU WILL GET SEVERAL WARNING MESSAGES ABOUT THE ACC, BRAKING SYSTEM AND LKAS NOT WORKING. A RECALL SHOULD BE PUT IN PLACE THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM WITH SEVERAL OF THE HONDA MODELS.

The idle stop cuts the engine when stopped at lights or stop signs or traffic slow downs but does not always start back up. Twice this month I have had to open the door and then press the ignition multiple times to get the car to start again. When this happens we also get an alert that there are other features being disabled. This was an issue last year and the dealer felt it was that we needed a new battery. So we replaced that and hadn't had issues until this month. It happened on the highway this weekend during a traffic slow down, and because we couldn't get going right away we almost caused an accident.

Rear view camera safety issue! 2019 Honda Pilot EX If a pedestrian is standing still, sitting even had a person walking behind car while backing up the car the camera will not warn you at all. I can't believe Honda has not done anything to fix this problem! I had at the dealership and they told me that you have to have a more expensive model or have an add on for $1000-1500. I don't think they care about anything but more money! Please look into this life threatening issue. Thanks

When my car parked garage, I was starting to smell gas thru out house, I don’t have anything gas house all electric, started get light headed with headache never had it before, my son was also complaint of headaches. So I took it to Right Honda dealership they said fuel pump leaking gas very dangerous. Now they want me pay $1250 . Health hazard Carbon Monoxide very dangerous deadly. Needs to be investigated asap…

on 3/9/24 while traveling west on I10 the panoramic rooftop window shattered. Had the canvas from the sunroof been rolled back the shattered glass from the window would have come down on my husband and myself while driving 75 miles per hour. Because the glass shattered it had to be taken back to the dealer for repair. Which is still there 6/17/24. The glass was embedded in the track for the skylight. Dealer is aware of issue.

POWER TRAIN
My Pilot has less than 1300 miles on it and when in lower gears the transmission will rev high, hesitate, then jerk forward, at times feeling as though it’s losing power before the gear catches. Called the dealership who told me it’s normal and without any warning lights on they won’t find anything.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer stated that they would need to run another diagnostic to confirm if the vehicle fuel pump was the cause of the failure. The contact was unwilling to pay for a diagnostic to confirm if the fuel pump was at fault because he had been advised by the dealer they did not have the parts available to complete the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 61,172. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

The contact stated while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the instrument panel illuminated with several unknown warning lights, and the check engine warning light. The vehicle sputtered, misfired, and slowly decelerated.
