SummarySome 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a flowthru floor console may exhibit a media bin door that will not open or is difficult to operate. This may be due to a missing or damaged guide finger and/or latch pin on the underside of the media bin. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the media bin at the front of the floor console, inspecting the guide finger and latch pin, and submitting photos in a Vehicle Concern Report in OASIS.

SummarySome vehicles equipped with SYNC4 may exhibit one or more of the following symptoms after all currently available accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software updates have been performed. - General system performance, stability, and intermittent system reboots. - Intermittent Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto function. - Phone related concerns with intermittent No Audio or Static. - Navigation/global positioning system (GPS) related concerns through CarPlay and Android Auto. - Alexa function consistency and stability. These symptoms may be due to the software in the APIM. Replacing the APIM will not resolve these symptoms for the customer. Before returning the vehicle to the customer, review the procedures within Workshop Manual, Section 415-00 and ensure the latest APIM software is installed. Refer to General Service Bulletin (GSB) 23-7146 for help determining the latest available level of software. IMPORTANT: some module software updates will only display as available on Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) after prerequisite modules are updated. This may require the technician to update certain modules multiple times during the service visit, before the latest APIM software is accessible in FDRS. If symptoms continue after latest APIM software has been installed, inform customers that Ford is working on additional software enhancements which are expected to be delivered over-the-air (OTA) by Q4 2024 on F-150, F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, Mustang, Escape, Corsair, Expedition, Navigator, Bronco, Mustang, and 2023-2024 F-Super Duty. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle's settings. For all other vehicles with SYNC4, schedule a service visit for customers in October 2024, when the updated APIM software is expected to be available to dealers. Monitor OASIS for additional information.

SummarySome 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit various diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the steering angle sensor. Prior to any diagnosis, determine if the vehicle is equipped with an electronic steering actuator (ESA), also referred to as the power steering control module (PSCM), so appropriate pinpoint tests are followed. The ESA is located on the steering shaft and can be seen through the left fender opening or under the hood near the driver's side frame rail. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 211-02 for images as needed. For vehicles equipped with an ESA, the steering angle sensor is integrated into the ESA. For vehicles not equipped with ESA, the steering angle sensor is integrated into the steering column control module, behind the clockspring. The pinpoint tests for the steering angle sensor in the WSM will specify what test or steps to follow based on presence of ESA. Failure to follow the proper pinpoint test may lead to improper diagnosis and repair.

SummaryAll accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.

SummarySome 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 12.3 inch center display screen and 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit DTCs B1D08 and/or B1D09 stored in the trailer module (TRM) with a Trailer Brake System Fault See Manual message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when a trailer is not connected to the vehicle. This may be due to water intrusion at the back side of the trailer tow connector. Disconnect connector C4099 from the back of the trailer tow connector (14489). Inspect connector C4099 and the mating socket on the back of the trailer tow connector for signs of corrosion or damage. If corrosion or damage is present at either connector, replace both the female side of the C4099 connector using service pig tail kit (3U2Z-14S411-JXC) and the trailer tow connector. If corrosion or damage is not present, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 417-01 Exterior Lighting, Diagnosis and Testing for additional diagnosis. For claiming, use causal part 13A576 and applicable labor operations in Section 01 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

SummarySome 2023-2024 F-Super Duty/F-53 Motorhome/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis or 2023-2025 E-Series/F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a gas engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with ignition system DTC(s) P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0357, P2303, P2306, P2309, P2312, P2318, P2304, P2307, P2310, P2313, P2319, and/or P2322 set in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to incorrect cylinder to DTC mapping within the PCM. This means the DTCs listed may set against the incorrect cylinder. Even though the cylinder to DTC mapping is incorrect in the PCM, the presence of these DTCs means that a real ignition system concern is present that requires diagnosis and repair. Prior to performing a pinpoint test for one of the listed DTCs, it will be necessary to identify the correct cylinder that has the issue. Do this by using the Ford diagnosis and repair system (FDRS) to perform a cylinder power balance test. If the results show two cylinders dropping out, begin diagnosing the ignition system components for the cylinder that is dropping out and not setting an ignition related DTC. Due to the incorrect incorrectcylinder to DTC mapping, the PCM will shut off fuel to the cylinder that the PCM has triggered a DTC against. Diagnosing the cylinder that does not set an ignition DTCand drops during the power balance test, will verify the identity of the cylinder that has the concern. If only onecylinder is dropping out, start diagnostics with that cylinder. Refer to the Workshop Manual, Section 303-07A/C.
