SummaryState Specific Bumper Performance Label Dealer Inventory *****Detailed Information***** Nissan is conducting a quality action specific to dealers located in California and Hawaii only to apply a supplemental bumper performance label. Due to an issue that has since been corrected, the bumper performance language may be missing from the Monroney label. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. In the interest of customer satisfaction, Nissan requests dealers to apply the supplemental bumper performance label on the affected vehicles prior to retail sale. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in new dealer inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC622 - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. 4. Dealers will receive five (5) extra labels, but if additional labels are needed, please send your request for the number of labels needed to [email protected] along with your dealer name, address and contact name and phone number. - Labels will be mailed beginning May 25, 2018 and should arrive no later than June 1, 2018

Summary2016-2018 ALTIMA WITH QR25DE/4-CYL ENGINE; MOAN NOISE AFTER A/C COMPRESSOR ENGAGES This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a 4-cylinder engine. IF YOU CONFIRM A moan type noise is heard just after the A/C is turned ON (compressor engages) and lasts for about 10 seconds and/or While the A/C is operating and the compressor clutch cycles from OFF to ON, the moan noise is heard for about 10 seconds. ACTION Replace the low pressure A/C flex hose with the one listed in PARTS INFORMATION. Do NOT replace the compressor for this incident, if it should occur. This bulletin does not apply for compressor clutch locked, squeal noises, or any other A/C malfunctions.

Summary2016-2018 NISSAN CONNECT NAVIGATION SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATE TO RESOLVE SEVERAL ISSUES This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with navigation system. IF YOU CONFIRM One or more of the following is occurring: - The navigation unit intermittently reboots: - At random or while listening to SXM or on a Bluetooth hands-free phone call. - Loud booming noise from speakers while on a Bluetooth hands-free call. - Navigation unit screen illumination does not change at night as designed. - AM/FM signal strength issues. - A status message ?Voice Recognition is initializing, please wait? is displayed when pressing the voice recognition button 2-3 minutes after the ignition is first turned ON. NOTE: If the message is displayed within the first 2-3 minutes this is normal. The voice recognition is loading phonebook contacts into its system. AND - The Software version has been confirmed as ?needs update? (refer to page 4). ACTION - Perform the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 3 and reprogram the Navigation system with USB memory stick shown below.

Summary2013-2018 ALTIMA; AFTERMARKET HEADLIGHTS SERVICE INFORMATION If a headlight housing assembly on an applied vehicle needs to be replaced for any reason, note the following: - Only Original Equipment (O.E.) components are warrantable though Nissan. - Aftermarket components are not warrantable through Nissan. - Confirm that it is a genuine Nissan part before submitting a Warranty Claim. - Genuine Nissan headlight housings, on an applied vehicle, will have "Nissan" and "NAL" markings on the housing. - See examples of an O.E. headlight housing assembly (Figure 1 on page 2) and aftermarket headlight housing assembly (Figure 2 on page 3). NOTE: The Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover aftermarket components. Refer to the Nissan Assurance Products Resource Manual (APRM) for guidelines on warranty coverage. The vehicle Owner's Manual contains the complete details regarding the limited warranty.
