  Electronic Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Dealer Inventory *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is issuing a quality hold and requiring dealers to update Electronic Control Module (ECM) software on 8,007 specific 2019 Altima vehicles identified in Service Comm. The current software installed may allow the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) to illuminate improperly during full throttle operation at high altitudes. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaigns I.D. PC663 ? New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ? Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ? Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Dealers must use the attached procedure to install the updated software prior to retail delivery of the vehicle to ensure emissions regulation compliance. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. ***** Dealer Responsibility ***** It is the dealer?s responsibility to check Service Comm or DBS National Service History ?   SECURITY ALARM SOUNDS AFTER USING MECHANICAL KEY TO UNLOCK DRIVER DOOR SERVICE INFORMATION Applied Vehicles listed above are no longer equipped with a door unlock sensor and/or Body Control Module (BCM) software to provide support for the door unlock sensor. Normal Functionality For Vehicles Built Without Door Unlock Sensor And/Or BCM Software To Support Door Unlock Sensor For Applied Vehicles built after the Applied Dates listed on page 1, using the mechanical key on the driver door will operate differently than vehicles built before the Applied Dates. For these later models, the BCM will not recognize operation of the mechanical key. If a mechanical key is used to lock the driver door: - The security system will not set. If the vehicle is broken into, the alarm will not sound. - Only the driver door will be locked. Other doors will not lock using the mechanical key. If a mechanical key is used to unlock the driver door: - Only the driver door will be unlocked. Other doors will not be unlocked. - If the security system is set, when the door is opened the alarm will sound. NOTE: Using the Unlock button on the Intelligent Key, pushing the request switch on the driver or passenger door with the Intelligent Key in range, or using the Intelligent Key to start the vehicle will silence the alarm. The mechanical key will not operate the power windows.

  Front Passenger Seatback Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the seat back assembly on specific 2018 Nissan Altima (L33) vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, which has since been corrected, an outboard headrest tube was not fully welded to the right front seat back frame during headrest assembly. As a result, customers may experience a rattle (noise) concern. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC657. - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory prior to sale to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB18-067 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

  CAMPAIGN BULLETIN Engine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Regional (NV & AZ) Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Regional Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) on affected vehicles currently registered in Nevada and Arizona. The current programming may cause the air/fuel ratio to become excessively rich resulting in engine stop under certain high temperature and high altitude conditions. In addition, Nissan is asking dealers to inspect and, if necessary, replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve on certain 2013-14 Nissan Sentra vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. Due to the various models involved and the associated responsible manufacturing location of origin, there are three (3) separate campaign IDs with unique Campaign Bulletins for each model: - PC633 - PM827 - P8325 New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DCS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information NOTE: These campaigns are state-specific and limited to vehicles that are currently registered, or previously registered, in the state of Nevada or Arizona only. 2. Nissan requests dealers repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use the appropriate repair bulletin for the applicable model as listed below to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealer should submit a warranty claim and release the vehicle.

INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2013-2017 Altima vehicles that are currently registered in the States of Arizona or Nevada. The Engine Control Module (ECM) software will be reprogrammed. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC633 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.
