The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V787000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at speeds of 50 MPH or more, the vehicle would experience the death wobble. The vehicle would also suddenly lose motive power. The contact would coast to the side of the road and attempt to restart the vehicle. The vehicle sometimes restarted in battery mode or hybrid mode. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front axle failed. The vehicle had been repaired. The vehicle was returned to the dealer however, there was no repair completed due to the recall remedy being unavailable. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 5,000. Engine speed became limited while driving and abruptly slowed down to 10 MPH while driving on the streets almost causing an incident for myself and others. Once car was stopped loud noises would come from Hybrid cooling system as if it was overheating upon start up. Dealer confirmed inspection and fixed hybrid cooling system which was covered under warranty. 3 weeks later after fix, vehicle engine light came on again and car had to be in service for another warranty issue connected to the fuel line. No warning lights, messages or symptoms of problems before incident happened. My family and I are terrified from the first incident and the 2nd engine light coming on only a few weeks later has confirmed our concerns that jeep has made a faulty product and these vehicles should be recalled.

The vehicle was steered to the side of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer six times and diagnosed with steering dampener failure. The contact was informed that the steering dampener needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. STEERING, SUSPENSION, WHEELS
At about 44,000 miles driving over 60-65 , going over a bump, or going around a curve at.a slower speed the jeep would violently shake, where you almost lose control. I took to the shop they replaced tie rod ends, drag link, track bar and that didn’t solve the issue they now replaced the something with steering and it’s better but still shakes a little when changing lanes. It is honestly the scariest thing ever. Something isn’t right and should be looked into, I am Not the only one with this issue and soon as my lease is up I am getting rid of it. Keep in mind I live in MN and have done NO off-roading. Someone is going to crash of these issues do not get fixed

It’s a recall on 6 speed manual transmission.a few times I smell the burning clutch smell..the recall says the jeep can catch fire..it’s been almost a year since I got the notice and still no repair .. am I suppose to risk my jeep catching on fire?

I spent extra money to get a Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and for over a month now it has been under recall 89a. I have to pay for gas and park far away from everyone and everything, as though that is even possible. If I don’t and my new, expensive vehicle catches fire I will somehow be liable if someone chooses to park next to me, or if my driveway isn’t long enough and the fire spreads. There is no fix or compensation in sight and I am angry that this has happened to the car that I used to love.

RECALL ON BATTERY, NO REMEDY, CAN'T CHARGE MY JEEP, CAN'T PARK IN THE GARAGE, MPG IS DOWN TO 18 (TYPICALLY STAYS AROUND 24-25 IN WINTER) DEALERSHIPS ARE NOT HELPFUL, JEEP IS NOT COMMUNICATING AS THEY SHOULD. RECALL B9A. I ALSO BELIEVE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE EMISSIONS FROM THIS, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS CAME ON TWICE SINCE I HAVE HAD THE JEEP (BOUGHT NEW IN 6/21) CAN'T CHARGE THE JEEP OR USE REMOTE START UNTIL RESET. DEALERSHIP SAID THERE WAS A READING STATING THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE GAS TANK, COULDN'T FIND THE LEAK SO RESET THE ENGINE LIGHT.

My jeep wrangler entire dashboard turned red flashing , lighting up that the coolant was way too high. This has happened twice and both times when contacting Jeep corporate it was the waterpump that went bad and now has been replaced twice. Jeep corporate thinks that it is fine to replace a water pump twice in less than a year and a half . Now I have the death wobble where on the interstate at speeds over 60 miles an hour my steering wheel shakes like crazy making it hard to operate my 2021 wrangler unless I get under 60 miles per hour which is a risk for everyone on the road. When telling corporate about these issues. They have full documentation and they say well it’s covered under warranty. Well warranty doesn’t last forever and I am scared for my safety and others. Look at the reviews on Jeep corporate- none are good and talk continuously on water pump issues and death wobble problems . Please help me

VISIBILITY/WIPER
Rear defrost connector comes unsoldered. My car is a 2022 with less than 12,000 miles on it. I basically drive it during the summer months when going to the lake. I bought the car brand new as a special order and received it in march 2022. I went to use my rear defrost, for probably the first time since owning my car, and it wouldn’t work. I took it to the dealer to have the defrost fixed- but now I’m being told it’s not covered, as windows are only covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles. It’s not my window- it’s the defrost! From a simple online search I can see that MANY people are experiencing this SAME issue! A car that is less than 2 years old and has about 11,500 miles on it, should t have an issue with defrost working!

Owners are advised not to recharge their vehicles and to park outside and away from structures until they are repaired. There are a few reasons why this should be a NON-Driveable recall. 1. The recall involves risk of fire and injury to those in or near the car or property. 2. It is a significant hardship to have to continuously park a car outside of the garage due to extreme cold. Often times homes/apartment buildings simply do not have outdoor parking. 3. It is also extremely challenging to find a place to park the car away from others when driving about town. How does one do that in busy parking lots and parking structures? This would be difficult in any state but far more pronounced in states with cold climates where the vast majority of parking areas are busy and often covered or enclosed. 4.If something catastrophic happened to the Hybrid battery system where the Hybrid system didn't work, you would essentially be stranded. This seems counterintuitive with a separate gas powertrain and separate Hybrid powertrain. 0% is still about 15% general operating condition for the electric assist. There is always some type of regen working to maintain that SOC. That is unacceptable for a dealership to treat this as it is and not notified the customers when or what could be done.

Recall (B9A) has been out since November of 2023. The recall states "An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage." As of today, no 'remedy' is available. In the mean time, can't charge the car. Driving the car would seem to be 'unwise' as the risk seems to be with the 'ignition on or off'. Can't park the car in my garage. Can't drive it to work as my employer doesn't want the liability should an issue arise. Been waiting patiently for a remedy - so far nothing but static.
