ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
High voltage battery safety recall is unavailable because parts are not available. I was told to call back in a few week. Recall states not to plug in or park in garage or near other vehicles. This poses a serious risk to myself and others and should be repaired immediately or the entire vehicle needs recalled and replaced. I am terrified to be near or even use my vehicle now. It is my only transportation. I am now forced to spend more financially to purchase gas and am unable to economically use the vehicle I purchased. I feel it need repaired immediately or replaced to prevent injury to myself or others.

STEERING, SUSPENSION
When driving the vehicle at 60mph or faster, the steering wheel will begin to shake uncontrollably and continue to rattle for approximately 30 seconds until the vehicle is reduced speed to about 40mph or less. If I resume speed again, the shaking vibrations will continue to happen repeatedly. This puts my safety at risk when I attempt to drive on the freeway and approach the speed limit and causes me to reduce my speed to an unsafe speed far lower than the flow of traffic on the freeway. In addition, while the vehicle is vibrating/shaking, there is a lack of control of the vehicle and puts the driver in a panic state, because it feels like a flat/blown tire at such a high speed. The vehicle was taken into the dealership and they would not check the problem until I paid for an alignment maintenance fee of over $300. Therefore, I proceeded with the costs and they discovered some parts that need to be replaced by the factory. In spite of this, the dealership is holding me responsible for the process of elimination charges because the extended warranty XF1 and recall V41 are not attached to my VIN on this vehicle. However, these recalls are attached to vehicles made on or before November 2020 and my vehicle was built November 2022. I am aware of this issue, because my prior jeep wrangler vehicle was a 2019 and I experienced the same safety issues, and I brought it in and found out about the recall issued and it was repaired for my safety. However, the same safety issues are occurring in my 2023 jeep wrangler with only 25,000 miles on it, but no recalls are attached to my VIN to assist with the problem. Each time the vehicle malfunctions there is no warning lamps, no messages or any other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. The incident first started to appear around 2/2/2024 & continued to happen more frequently with time. I scheduled the repair at the jeep dealership on 2/27/2024 and they currently still have my vehicle for this malfunction.

I purchased certified July of 2023 . My 2022 Sarah 4xe Jeep has been in the dealership 4 times for the so called death rattle on the freeway at highway speeds of 70-73 mph . When hitting bump it will wobble horribly to the point I have to slam the breaks on to get it to stop . The dealer the last time put on an aftermarket fox damper which helped quite a bit but it still will do it briefly . From what I’ve researched it is only a band aid to whatever the problem is . It’s to me,very dangerous especially when you’re next to a vehicle on the highway . I don’t feel the problem is completely fixed and the dealer said they have done all they can do. I cannot give specific days off hand but will look up moving forward because it’s been at the dealership now 4 times . Ive read that many customers are having this issue . If you need a video I can send one .

While driving vehicle on highway at 70mph, vehicle went completely out of control shaking violently and would not stop violently shaking until a complete stop on a highway. My wife thought she was going to die. Apparently this is known in the Jeep community as the "Death Wobble." There needs to be a recall immediately before someone dies. This is completely un expectable.

ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
The detective reported that the 2022 Jeep Wrangler spontaneously caught on fire. The contact stated that after the owner parked the vehicle, approximately six hours later a fire occurred which started in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene and extinguished the flames. During the incident the vehicle was destroyed. No injuries were reported. A police and fire report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was later tow away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified by the contact. The contact was concern that the vehicle had experienced the same failure listed in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V787000(Electrical System) which did not include the diesel models. The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced that same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was unknown.

STEERING
While driving down the road, whether local road at 45MPH or on the interstate at 70MPH, under certain conditions the front end starts to wobble out of control and I have to stop the vehicle to get the wobble to stop. This is a known problem and on all of the forums you can see discussions about this exact issue. There is a problem with defective steering dampers which may be undersized for the Jeep Wrangler. This has happened on multiple occasions to me. I went to the local dealership early January 2024 under warranty and they confirmed a defective steering damper. They said the part was scheduled to arrive Jan 30, 2024. Today is March 6 and the part is still on back order for at least 45 days as per the parts department. These vehicles need to be pulled off of the road or Jeep needs to be forced to get the parts ASAP. The local dealership said they have several Jeep Wraglers waiting on this part. This is a nationwide problem. Please help get this addressed. Jeep has identified the problem but the lack of parts is the issue. Putting heat on Jeep is what needs to be done. The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH a message flashed on the screen stating that the vehicle was shutting down, pull over, and shift into park. The contact stated the vehicle lost power but was able to coast off to the side of the road. The contact’s husband disconnected and reconnected the battery, restarted the vehicle, and the vehicle operated normally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The dealer stated that the failure might be related to a recall that was previously repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 32,000.

The contact stated that while charging the vehicle, the message "Service Charging System" was displayed, and the vehicle stopped charging. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer, Glenn E. Thomas Dodge Chrysler Jeep (2100 E Spring St, Signal Hill, CA 90755), where the contact was informed that the failure was occurring due to a low voltage outlet; however, the contact stated that the failure had occurred while using other outlets at other locations. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and contacted both dealers to schedule a recall repair on the contact's behalf, but the dealers informed the manufacturer that they could not perform the recall repair even though the remedy part was available. While driving on the freeway, the car showed a message saying “performance issue” and lost power. I couldn’t accelerate and the car stopped. I couldn’t power on or down the car. It looked like an alternator issue and it wasn’t giving enough power to the battery. AAA arrived hour and half later. Tried to jump but it didn’t do anything. Finally had to tow the car to the nearest dealership. The car is not even a year old and has less than 10k miles. Its a safety issue being stuck like that without any warning signs at middle of the freeway!

Burning clutch smell….recall is over a year old…dealer say parts not available 👺 how long can a recall go for…they should inform owners of the time frame…so should I continue too drive my $50,000 dollar jeep .. which may burst into flames 🔥 or not
