I have received a recall notification 95B/NHTSA 24V-720 that advises I should not charge my PHEV, park away from structures or other vehicles until the remedy is obtained. However, no guidance has been provided on what to do if these precautions cannot be met. This situation is unacceptable. Receiving a recall advisory with such severe restrictions—without a solution or clear guidance on alternative safety measures—leaves customers in an impossible position. It is unreasonable to expect owners to manage these risks independently without adequate support or timely options to ensure safety and functionality. I have raised this concern with FCA and received no adequate response. I therefore would like to formerly lodge a complaint.

This is a hybrid vehicle. I received a recall notice that the vehicle cannot be plugged in to charge or parked near any other vehicles or structures until the recall is repaired. I work at a mall, and I live in an apartment building, so this is not possible for me. It feels dangerous to own this car. I purchased it to save on gas, and now I can’t even do that for the foreseeable future. None of the local dealerships and nobody online has any information on when these parts will be available. 2 dealerships could not give me any information or assistance. I was told to fill out this form.

History since I leased this vehicle: 1. Charging cord froze to vehicle when parked at a charging station outside and would not detach until it thawed. 2. Car was recalled for a battery issue and was allegedly fixed. 3. Car later died. The battery was completely dead for no apparent reason. I had to have the vehicle towed to the dealer for the battery to be replaced. They were not able to explain why the battery died. 4. Just received another recall for a High Voltage Battery fire risk issue that they have no remedy for as of yet. We are advised not to charge the vehicle or park it near any structures or other vehicles! 5. While driving home from work, the Jeep suddenly stopped moving. The console where the shift gear is began to flash and I had to put my foot on the brake, put the car into park and then put it back into drive to get it to move again. When it went back into drive it lurched forward. Luckily no one was behind me at the time or they likely would have smashed into me or I could have caused an accident. According to online research it is another on-going problem, one article reads there are hundreds of complaints on the Jeep forums with no fix saying: When customers take their Jeeps in, the service advisors have trouble diagnosing the issue. And while Jeep has issued some recalls, the problems remain and the electric Jeeps continue to fail.

Jeep Death Wobble- car shakes violently at freeway speeds (anything over 45 mph) if even small bumps or rain ruts in road. Car is stock parts (no modifications) and has not been used off-road. First occurred at less than 18K miles- repair made by Jeep Dealer, but issue returned within 10K miles. 2nd attempt at repair was blamed by dealer on tires off-balance, however issue has continued to occur. 3rd attempt was made to meet with Service manager at dealership, however he failed to show for meeting and then did not return calls.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked and then stalled. The contact stated that while the vehicle was being parked, the engine independently revved up. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure had occurred several times while his wife was driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure started to occur approximately six months after the vehicle was purchased. The vehicle was taken to two dealers; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact's wife was accused of driving the vehicle incorrectly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V720000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 3,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Jeep/Stellantis needs more oversight over their 4XE "Battery Separator" problems. November 22, 2023 (Recall B9A) - Battery Separator Fires September 28, 2024 (Recall 95A/B) - Battery Separator Fires Clearly Stellantis has known about this exact issue for around a year, and likely significantly longer in the lead-up to issuing the original B9A recall. How many cars need to catch fire? How many people should risk injury? How much loss-of use is acceptable for those not able to charge their EVs? Clearly Stellantis is simply struggling to find a way to reduce their liability, by narrowing down the affected vehicles. However after 12-18 months, enough is enough.

The manufacturer has not been able to remedy the batteries for electrical propulsion, saying "no remedy available ". Makes me hesitant to drive or park near other vehicles or structures. I have also complained to the dealership, where I purchased my Jeep, about a wobble/shake in the front-end when driving over bumps. After two attempts they have not been able to find a reason for or repair my vehicle. When driving in rain, this condition makes control a dangerous issue in heavy traffic. The most recent occurance was on [XXX] where the posted speed limit is 80mp, accompanied by heavy 18 wheeler traffic! I have also experienced the wobble/shake when traveling [XXX] from Texas to Louisiana, in the rain, surrounded by heavy automobile & 18 wheel traffic once again. This is a very stressful and uncomfortable situation to be in. I have experienced the wobble/shake soon after the purchase of my Jeep, still exists after several mechanical inspections at the dealership where purchased. I have also written a letter to the manufacturer, dated August 22, 2024, for these issues & the devaluation that exists with this particular model, to date I have not received a response! There is no excuse for the inability to repair or respond to my concerns! I have a copy of my letter to Customer Care for Stellantis & recall & repair documents; I am unable to upload at this time. I no longer feel confident or safe driving this vehicle with them inside. Despite the recall, I have been informed there is currently no remedy available. This lack of a solution leaves me without a secure vehicle and heightens my concerns over the risks associated with continuing to drive it. Additionally, my request for a buyback has been denied, which is disheartening given the absence of an available remedy and the potential safety hazards involved. I am seeking immediate assistance and a resolution that prioritizes the safety of my family.

Vehicle stops at low speed and will not move. When placed in park it will not shift back into drive. Hybrid charge lights flashing and several warning lights display on the dash. The dealer is waiting on parts that Jeep says are back ordered indefinitely. Dealership say keep driving it. Jeep is looking for the parts but have not addressed the significant safety risk of shutting down in the roadway and unable to move. I have to shut the vehicle down in the roadway and wait to restart the vehicle to clear the issue. It will not even allow me to pull the emergency transmission release when this condition occurs to move the vehicle out of the roadway.

My 20214XE Hybrid from the day I bought it was often saying "electric not available" There was a potential fire recall last winter that took four months to remedy, during that time we were told not to charge it, park in our garage, park near our home/structures or park by other cars. I purchase a hybrid that I'm not able to use as a hybrid. Finally, got the repair in the spring. Literally, two months later, it starts doing all kinds of dangerous things. I would come to a stop or be in the middle of a turn and would have no power whatsoever, gas pedal to the floor and going nowhere and then would lunge forward. Took to the dealer, computer said CRITICAL hybrid battery overheating, the original repair clearly didn't work. Eventually, it was approved for hybrid battery being replaced. All was well until 2 weeks ago when it got "jeep death wobble", violently shaking back and forth at about 60mph. They did repair it but informed us that there is ANOTHER RISK FOR FIRE RECALL, do not charge it or park in garage, etc. etc. I have a vehicle that is a risk for BURNING MY HOUSE DOWN, this is multiple times and unacceptable. I also purchased a hybrid that I am not able to use as a hybrid.

B9A recall (NHTSA 23V-787). Remedy: " Park the vehicle outside. Please note my house is in Colorado [XXX] on the edge of a National Forest with 100,000 acres of National Forest. What happens if the forest catches on fire. This should be a NO DRIVE Recall. I am FURIOUS. I have tried to get JEEP customer care and they don't answer the phone....I have called your help line...and do not get a call back. This is simply not okay. Once I shut the vehicle off and restarted it the cluster returned to normal condition but then it happened again. I took it to the Jeep service center and they told me there was no recall 30B on my vehicle. Now what should I do?

On 9/29/24 with the rear window removed and the top in a closed position while driving highway speeds, the driver side rear window of my vehicle, without warning, flew off and moments later the rear driver side support flew off. The side windows of the vehicle had previously never been removed. It was a shocking experience that left me quite shaken, yet out of control to mitigate. Fortunately, there were no vehicles immediately behind me taking the impact of flying car parts, however, had there been this could have been deadly. The dealership will not be able to fully access the vehicle until 10/16/24. Upon speaking to the service manager they will take a quick look at it today (9/30)

SUSPENSION
Driving on an Interstate Highway in Florida, hit a small "rut" in the roadway at Highway speeds and the front end started shaking "VIOLENTLY" to the point I though the vehicle was going to "Roll Over". I had to slow down, switch from the center lane of a three lane highway crossing over the outside lane then onto the shoulder of the Highway, get the speed down from 70 to 50 mph before the "Violent Shaking" stopped. When speaking with a service center for Jeep I was told this is a "KNOWN ISSUE" with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler but there is no recall for the vehicle year 2021 BUT there were for other vehicle years, which I find UNBELEIVABLE!!!! As a retired Police Officer I will tell you this is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY OR SOMEONE WILL GET KILLED IN A CRASH!!!

Recall- 95B - Hight Voltage Battery, there is no fix for the problem at the present time. Now the vehicle can no longer be charges and must run on gasoline. The vehicle was purchased with the intention of using the battery to go to and from work on a single charge. The vehicle can no longer be charged or parked in our garage due to potential fire risk.
