1. Hybrid battery fire hazard – presents a real risk of fire while the vehicle is parked or in operation. 2.Engine debris from factory build – the engine contains debris from the manufacturing process, creating a risk of engine failure or further damage. I’ve reached out to dealership and Stellantis they offered no resolution but say they are “working on it.” No timeline given when resolution will be available while I’m still making my monthly lease payments on a defective, hazardous vehicle. Dealership said no resolution from Stellantis, Stellantis telling me to reach out to Jeep..

My vehicle is subject to two open safety recalls: 68C (PHEV High Voltage Battery) and 78C (PHEV 2.0L Engine Fire / Loss of Propulsion). Recall 78C currently has no available remedy and involves risk of engine fire and sudden loss of propulsion without warning. The manufacturer has issued guidance advising modified use and safety precautions, including parking the vehicle outside and avoiding certain operating conditions. Based on these warnings and the lack of a remedy, I do not feel safe operating or using the vehicle as intended. I contacted Jeep/Stellantis Recall Customer Care multiple times and was assigned a case number. However, no loaner vehicle or transportation assistance has been provided, my assigned case manager and supervisor did not follow up, and my local Jeep dealer has not contacted me to schedule service or provide alternatives. Due to the unresolved safety recall, lack of remedy, and lack of manufacturer follow-through, I am unable to safely use the vehicle.

SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The ABS warning light, Traction Control warning light, and Emergency Brake light are all lite up on the dashboard of my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. ABS is not working on my Jeep. Mechanic shop checked for codes and said the ABS control module is bad and needs to be replaced. The shop qouted me $1,500.00 for parts and labor and that was if they could find a new ABS control module somewhere. If part isn't replaced, I'm told that brakes could fail or Jeep could seize up after being driven so many miles. Mechanic shop said ABS control module for Jeeps is on National backorder and they are hard to find, can find used ones at salvage yards but they are priced three and four times what they normally cost brand new and they may or may not be able to flash the module to match my VIN on a used one. In other words, can't get a new one because they are not being produced any longer, and there's no guarantee that a used one will work. Online forums have confirmed all of this information also, as there are thousands of people who are having this same issue over the past year or so. I have spoken with several online dealers who sell OEM Mopar parts and they have confirmed that this part isn't even being produced any longer and there is no replacement part for it. So all this to say, my Jeep is parked, undrivable because of a safety issue due to this part (ABS control module) not being produced by anyone any longer.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
The vehicle experienced a fuel/propulsion failure involving sudden loss of engine power. After internal engine repairs performed by the dealership (camshaft and valvetrain work), the vehicle was returned to me as repaired and safe to operate. Within minimal post-repair driving (less than one mile), the vehicle entered limp mode, lost propulsion, and the engine shut down while driving in active traffic. The vehicle required towing back to the dealership. The loss of propulsion occurred on a busy city roadway and created an immediate safety risk to me and surrounding motorists due to the sudden inability to maintain speed or power, with a foreseeable risk of collision. The problem has been confirmed by the dealership. After subsequent inspection and teardown, the dealer documented catastrophic internal engine damage, including cylinder wall scoring and a failed head gasket. The dealership acknowledged that deeper inspection during the prior internal engine repair would have revealed the need for engine replacement. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealership multiple times and by the dealership’s insurer. The manufacturer (Stellantis) has opened a customer care case. The vehicle is currently available for inspection and has been removed from service due to safety concerns. Prior to the failure, the vehicle displayed warning indicators and messages at the time of the incident, including limp mode activation and critical alerts immediately before and during the shutdown. No warnings were provided to me at the time the vehicle was returned from repair regarding unresolved internal engine risk or potential loss of propulsion.

I own a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, Rubicon. I have not been able to drive my Jeep for 3 years because the ABS light is on and I am unable to get the part to replace it. I have heard from several other Jeep owners that they are experiencing the same ABS failure. The ABS light has been on since 2022 and there are no MOPAR ABS replacement parts. I would like to officially report this failure because I have not been able to resolve this issue. I have taken my Jeep to several mechanics and they cannot repair this issue because their are no parts available.

I have experienced TPSM issues that suddenly "resolve" by itself when taken to the dealership. On top of this, I also experience electrical issues from time to time such as audio from the radio not working, the screen glitching or not turning on, and other electrical issues. The worst issue is that I have a serious recall that can't be fixed due to parts not being available. I didn't purchase a brand new 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe so that I could have these issues. I should not have to worry about my jeep catching fire or parking it away from my home or other vehicles. You're welcome to inspect everything.

The representative stated that the Lewisville Police Dept. also completed a report, case number 250068809.

There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number 25V710000 (Electrical System), and the dealer had informed the contact that the VIN was also associated with NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V741000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to complete the recalls repairs were not yet available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the high-voltage battery had failed and required replacement. The contact was informed that the recall remedy would not fully repair the battery. The dealer also confirmed that the remedy was not available for the other related recalls. For a few weeks prior to 12-21-2025, I've experienced minor Jeep "death wobble" (suspension issue) at highway speeds when encountering an irregularity (bump) in the road surface. On 12-21-2025, I experienced moderate Jeep "death wobble" at around 60 mph (several times). On a desert 2 lane highway, I was seriously in danger of running off the road to the right (crashing into rock faces bigger than the car) or running into oncoming traffic to the left. I was about an hour away from home and was able to reproduce the problem. I found that the issue was minimized if I kept it under 58 mph. Unfortunately, this motivated many drivers to dangerously pass me. The next day, I took it to the local off-road mechanic and they determined it was a worn tie-rod and recommended replacing the tie rod and installing/upgrading the steering stabilizer. From what I have read during my research is that those are band aid approaches to a more serious engineering/design issue with the Jeep Wrangler. I've further learned that Fiat-Chrysler (or the current owner) has continued to address the issue that has been problematic for decades. There are no recalls for my vehicle and the relevant TSBs I could find apply to older models (latest I saw was 2020 JL). However, it's clear the issue has not been resolved on my more current model (2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL). The vehicle is available for your inspection.

This is the third time my vehicle has been recalled for battery issues. Twice it has been noted that I should not drive, charge, park my vehicle in my garage, or park it near any building or person because of vehicle fire risk. In both 2023 and 2024 they performed a software update and yet this issue still persist. In 2024, since they didn't have a fix for the problem they said we should not drive our vehicle and I was without a vehicle for 2 months. Now in 2025 they are recalling for the same fire issue for the third time. Again, I am advised not to drive, not to charge, not to park in my garage, and to keep the vehicle away from people and buildings. I have again been without a vehicle for almost a month. I spoke to the dealer this morning and again they have a software update as a fix. I asked to have my battery replaced since the two previous software updates did not fix the issue. They said they were only authorized to do the software update and Mopar would need to authorize a battery replacement. Spoke to Mopar and they say they will do the software update and only replace the battery if needed. I do not find this acceptable. I do not feel that my car is safe to drive especially with my elderly parents, children, or pets inside and yet Mopar will not authorize the replacement of my battery. I feel that after two software updates that did not fix the issue and continued vehicle fires that a battery update should be mandated, not another software update. I now have a care I don't feel safe to drive. Florida Attorney General's Office Lemon Law Hotline suggested I report this issue here.

I own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with ongoing warranty-covered hybrid system defects, including a hybrid coolant valve failure that could cause the vehicle to shut down while driving, creating a serious safety risk. The vehicle is also subject to an active high-voltage battery fire-risk recall, further affecting safety and reliability. The vehicle has been in the shop since Wednesday and Jeep has not provided a loaner or direct rental vehicle, leaving my family without transportation. Due to the combination of safety risks and loss of use, I am requesting: •Immediate manufacturer action to repair the defects •Direct rental coverage while the vehicle is in the shop •Escalation of my formal buyback request for executive review I am submitting this complaint to ensure that these safety and warranty-related issues are addressed promptly.

I'm Experiencing a KNOWN Jeep issue called the "DEATH WOBBLE". I only have 17800 miles on the vehicle and I'm 6 months out of warranty. when this vehicle gets into the death wobble mood it becomes totally uncontrollable and extremely unsafe to drive. the driver needs to slow down to under 40MPH or to a complete stop for it to stop. You can be driving at 65 MPH and the vehicle will go into convulsions, I feel it is SO dangerous I will not allow my wife to drive it.
