Immediately after starting the truck, I hear a loud popping noise coming from the radio. It sounds like an alarm noise for several seconds. I always turn the volume to 0, but I don't know if that's what shuts off the sound, or if it stops on it's own. The only way to clear the error with the radio, is to change the source from the current setting to a different source. ( FM to AM or Sirius ). This has happened multiple times. I've had the vehicle serviced by ford and received OTA updates that address this problem. One software update specifically said it addressed radio distortion issues, the other said that it would correct certain SYNC issues when starting the vehicle.

I was driving down the highway and the right, rear window shattered and blew glass all over the inside of my truck (the cab). There was no incident, no stress cracks, etc. The window simply “exploded”. I drove to the nearest Ford Dealership, assuming it would be covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. After the dealership had my vehicle a full week, they informed me Ford would not pay. I told them to order the window and replace it as I needed my vehicle back. I ended up being without my truck for two weeks. I paid $591.60 and called Ford today, to ask for reimbursement. I was told they cannot do so as the warranty only covers “windshields” for 12 months. I reminded the agent that this is a rear passenger window to no avail. After a little research, I’ve found that hundreds of F-150 owners have had this occur. *My granddaughter could have been in that seat as it was the rear passenger seat! This is a dangerous issue. I am still cleaning up glass, I continue to find all over the cab.

- #11749840July 12, 2026POWER TRAIN, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
While driving in Sport mode on an interstate, during descending downhill, the transmission started down shifting. At that time near the bottom of the hill was standing water on an area. It was suddenly like hitting the brakes & I hydroplaned, but luckily I never touched the brakes. The down shifting at the same time as hitting the water caused the vehicle to loose control of the road. Luckily I regained control by steering and did not wreck. There should be a safety warning on this issue or a correction in the vehicle down shifting

I am writing to inform you that I have received my 2025 Ford F-150 back from the Steivers Ford dealership in Union City after the reported repairs were completed. Unfortunately, the vehicle still has a severe shake and vibration while driving. In fact, the condition is now worse than it was when I originally brought the vehicle in for service. After being without my truck for an extended period while repairs were performed, I am extremely disappointed that the underlying issue has not been resolved. This ongoing defect continues to affect the drivability of the vehicle and has significantly impacted my confidence in its safety and reliability. At this point, I would like to understand what Ford’s next steps are to permanently resolve this issue. Multiple repair attempts have not corrected the problem, and I do not believe it is reasonable to continue experiencing the same—or worse—condition after such extensive repairs. Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss how Ford intends to move forward. I am looking for a prompt and lasting resolution.

- #11749740July 11, 2026VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I'm not sure what failed but a Google search with symptoms tells me it's a "throttle-by-wire" malfunction. The F150 truck accelerates immediately and aggresively to full throttle when I floor the gas peddle to merge traffic on freeways. It continues at full throttle regardless what I do. Braking gives a pop up window on the dash that reads "Brake Applied Power Reduced", and the brakes do slow the vehicle and even stop it but the engine revs at full throttle. This occurred the day I bought it driving home from dealership, testing it, I floored the gas peddle while on the freeway to see how it performs accelerating while passing other vehicles. It took over that day, I thought it had somehow activated Cruise Control being a new vehicle and me unfamiliar with operations, I would figure that out later and forgot. I pulled over that day, killed engine, restarted and it was fine. It repeated this malfunction two maybe three other times since that first day. Yesterday, XXX, would be the third or fouth time it has occurred and it wouldn't correct. I pulled over three times, put it in Park and it reved full throttle, killed it, waited two minutes, restarted and it went to full throttle. It is parked in my driveway and will accelerate to full throttel immediately even in Park. I am going to have it towed this morning, XXX to Brinson Ford in [XXX]. Therefore, a dealer has yet to look at it or try and reproduce problem. The first occurrence was the day I bought it which was September 12, 2025. Vehicle is subject to open NHTSA recall 25V455 for fuel pump failure that can cause loss of fuel pressure and engine stall. Vehicle is now completely non-drivable — will not start at all. Dealer confirmed awareness of the recall but stated the manufacturer has not yet provided parts or a repair procedure. Recall status shows incomplete, remedy not yet available. Vehicle owner currently has no working transportation and no timeline for repair from the manufacturer.

- #11749360July 9, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
driving approximately 20 miles an hour, gently applying the brake as I was approaching a stoplight when the brake suddenly engaged forcefully causing the car to jerk to a stop unexpectedly. There was a warning across the dash that said " forward collision is not available" and that disappeared. A local dealership said this was an ABS issue and reprogrammed it.

Truck has just started misfiring out of the blue, have had Ford dealerships look at it, have changed all 6 spark plugs and one ignition coil. The recall NHTSA 2025-366 may be the reason, it states there still is no remedy for this, recall was issued 1 year ago, July 2025. I need this remedy.

I recently purchased a 2021 f-150 with 48,000 miles on it. Just over 60,000 miles I was noticing some bad shifting occurring with my 10R80 transmission. It progressively got worse by harsh shifting, terrible gear hunting, then finally after driving in manual for a couple days: I was in the middle lane of state road 41 approaching sun lake road, the light turned green and my truck went nowhere. I immediately put my hazards on as cars were trying to get around me and I tried to shift into gear. I managed to find 4th after at least a minute (it skipped 1-3) and I limped to the side of the road where my dad later came with his trailer to pick it up. This is a known issue that ford acknowledges with this particular year for the 10r80 (the CDF drum being the component that fails) yet they have done nothing to address it, even though they DID FIX IT it in the 22+ models. My truck is now at a shop with 60,646.1 miles where they are installing a new transmission for over $5,000 (awaiting for them to finish and I’ll provide the receipt / proof of purchase). Also, they couldn’t even put it in neutral to roll it off the trailer even after disconnecting the computer and manually shifting it from underneath the truck. I’m contacting NHTSA in hopes you can make some noise and file a complaint with Ford, they told me they won’t do anything since I’m out of warranty and there are no recalls for the transmission. It’s ridiculous that I’m dealing with this on just a 60k mile truck that’s a few hundred miles out of warranty and they know this is an issue.
