THIS 2025 FORD F 150 [VIN [XXX] ] HAD NO ISSUSES WITH A MESSAGE THAT STATES REVERSE BRAKE ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE SEE MANUAL SHOWING ON THE DASH DISPLAY UNTIL AFTER THE REQUIRED UPDATE FOR THE DASH AND THE BOSCH BRAKE MODULE WAS INSTALLED. IT HAS BEEN TO 2 DEALERS FOR THIS ISSUE MULTIPLE TIMES FROM OCT 25 - APRIL 26. THE SECOND DEALER FOUND THE SAME THING, MESSAGE APPEARS WITH NO CODES SET, THEY HAVE ALIGNED CAMERAS AND THE MESSAGE STILL COMES BACK ON. THIS BEING A BIG SAFETY ITEM TO SAVE BACKING INCEDENTS YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD FIND OUT WAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE, BUT NO FORD TELLS THE DEALER TO TELL THE OWNER IT'S NORMAL. I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS, IT'S INSTALLED AND ADVERTISED AS A SAFETY FEATURE AND IF YOU READ UP ABOUT THIS PROBLEM THERE ARE A LOT OF THESE TRUCKS WITH THIS ISSUE AND FORD DON'T WANT TO ACKNOLEDGE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM AND FIX IT. I WOULD HOPE YOU WOULD ENTICE FORD MOTOR COMPANY TO GET OFF THERE XXX AND TAKE CARE OF THIS. FORD CUSTOMER COMPLAINT TOLD ME THAT THEY SHOWED 1 RO ON FILE FROME THE PREVIOUS DEALER AND I HAD FOUR AS THEY HAD BILLED 4 UNDER SERVICE CONTRACT FOR MAINTAINCE NOT THE CONCERN, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE SECOND DEALER BUT THEY HAVE TRIED UNTILL FORD SAID IT'S NORMAL. In the winter the two front doors freeze. I had my twelve year old daughter in the car and turned a corner and the door opened at 25 miles and hour and she had to hold on. We have bungy corded the doors shut during the winter. Ford does not have a safety recall and stated to let the car heat up for 30 mins before use. From online forums this is a common issue for 2021 F150's. Ford should be responsible for fixing the issues

While parked in my driveway, the rear window exploded/shattered. I had local Ford rep come look at it, take pictures and submit to Ford for warranty coverage. The vehicle was purchased in January 2025 and has 28,888 miles - so still under warranty. Ford has denied warranty coverage. I believe this to be a safety issue and am reporting it.

I was driving by and received multiple warnings about brakes. Brake assist, one pedal driving, reverse brake assist, general brake warning. After the came on the brake were spongy with a hard brake after applying more pressure to the pedal. I needed to apply more pressure because the car was not stopping. I almost hit various cars on the way home because there is certainly an adjustment needed to my braking habits. Very dangerous and unsafe. I took the truck to the dealership and quoted me around $2,500. This is something I have no control over and see that there is a recall on this issue for a 2025 model, but my vehicle does not fall under this recall.

Tried to turn on vehicle one morning and it would not start due a parking brake error message & a warning light on the dashboard. The message on the screen behind the steering wheel stated “park brake fault service now” and there was a clicking noise heard coming from underneath the truck. I tried to reset the parking brake by pressing and holding the button as indicated online but it didn’t work. The brake also physically revolted at me pressing down on it and would stutter/thump and not let me press it down fully without heavy resistance. The clicking noise continued randomly even when I was not in the vehicle. Then the door locks stopped working with my car keys, I could only open the drive door manually. I had no means to jumpstart my battery. I called Ford local dealership to come check the issue incase it was a recall issue that had not been reported for my vehicle yet. They are scheduled to come Monday 6/1/26.

Based on publicly available reports and similar complaints, multiple F-150 vehicles with the 10-speed automatic transmission appear to experience similar transmission failures at relatively low mileage under normal driving conditions.

The transmission had a lengthy delay shifting into reverse when shifted from park. I removed my foot from the brake and all of a sudden it jumped into reverse and I ended up in the road. Fortunately there were no cars or pedestrians behind me.

I've spent hours trying to get Ford to fix the 23S65 hub recall. I get nowhere. Finally got a case number - # XXX-XXX. Recall started 2023 if I'm not mistaking. I've called dealer many times and they say Ford. Ford can find parts for new vehicles but not for my truck. I bought the truck to tow but I'm scared to use it. It seems Ford will never "have" parts. It feels like they want me to crash it or get stranded before fixing it. They have the parts. Just for new trucks or people whose trucks are completely broken. I want to tow but I can't. Dealer is now saying...parts sometime in Q3. That just keeps getting extented. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

When stopping for a redlight the 10r80 transmission locks itself into 10th gear. I have taken 7 or 8 actual videos for proof of that. Also when leaving a intersection the transmission runs up to the rev limiter in 1st gear then slams into 2,3,4 and 5th gear. Unfortunately I don’t have that on video because I am already moving when it happens. Also unfortunate for me is I called the local dealership and shared with them the issues and asked for a transmission service to be done on it and between the phone call and the service time the factory warranty ran out. The day after the transmission service and 8 days after the factory warranty expired the pickup left me stranded with no forward gears. So here I am with a truck with only 52,000 miles on it scratching my head… no check indicator lights have shown up either.

APIM real‑time clock failure. Dealer refuses repair, states ‘software issue’ for 16 months. Clock resets instantly to 12:00, cannot retain time. Will also blink sometime to current time and then immediately back to 12:00. This displays both on my head unit as well as my heads up display.

I own a 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum built in August 2024. The vehicle has been at the dealership for over 45 days for severe, unresolved electrical safety defects. I have attached photographic proof of the main defects. The first three photos show the driver's instrument display screen behind the steering wheel completely blacking out on startup, blinding critical safety gauges like the speedometer. The center screen stays on, but the main cluster is totally dead. Fourth and fifth photos show the driver's seat memory failure. I manually set my lumbar support to a comfortable 3-4-3 setting and save it, but every time the truck sits, the seat completely deflates to a flat zero default on startup. This causes an immediate driving distraction and ergonomic hazard. The factory navigation also randomly shouts driving directions out of nowhere without any driver input. The dealership is currently trying to install a temporary "bypass wire" hack on my factory harness just to see if it fixes the seat memory. However, Ford's internal hotline (SSSC) refuses to authorize repairs for the black screen or phantom navigation until a tech physically catches it glitching on command. Ford’s policy is to return the vehicle unrepaired if it does not fail during active observation. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate Ford's active evasion of safety recall 25V540 (Ford 25S88). The official recall paperwork states the defective supplier software entered production on May 14, 2024. My truck was manufactured in August 2024—squarely within the defective window—yet Ford is using a model-year loophole to exclude 2024 vehicles from the recall population. They are denying owners a permanent factory software remedy and forcing dealers to use unapproved, temporary physical workarounds. The vehicle is at the dealership and available for federal inspection if need be.

Transmission started having issues after fluid change and dealer states that transmission now needs a rebuilt cause the CDF drum has moved or shifted. They also stated they have seen a lot of these 10 speed transmission with the same issues.
