My back up camera has went out, I took it to be repaired at the dealership they said it was disconnected. It was reconnected at that time. It has quit again doing the same thing it was doing before. I have not disconnected any wires that would cause this issue.

I was trying to get into my car and my RF hub stop working I couldn't get into my car and when I was able to I couldn't start it. I was at my daughters daycare and we were stranded. They say it was due to water damage and they stated this was caused by a faulty seal on the vehicle's and water entered the truck. This item should be recalled and fixed at the dealerships expense since its an known issue. What if I needed to take my daughter or family member to the ER.

Steering column control module went out. Right blinker will not stop and left doesn't work at all. Even in the off position right stays on so I have to put it down to the not working left to stop that but any movement and its starts again. It is a traffic hazard and even though 165,000 Rams were recalled this past year they say its VIN specific and will not cover my $400 repair. My truck is unusable until they repair this.

2021 Ram 1500 Laramie. 2 Occasions of unexpected engine Revving. 1) Pulled up to a stop, waiting for cross traffic, when fully stopped, the Engine began to rev up by ~500 RPM, up then back down, about 3 times in a row. Each time the truck tried to creep forwards, forcing me to step on the brake harder to prevent movement. Each engine surge lasted 1-2 seconds. 2) At low speeds (<20mph), car had similar RPM surges, but just caused some jerking. Both occasions occurred within 2-3 minutes of a cold start (~70 Deg F Env. temp). Certainly a safety concern, needs to be addressed.

The alternator with the etorque option. Truck is available upon request. Stellantis knows of the issues with the motor and doesn’t have a fix. The part to fix is on back order with no eta till available. I have been researching and some are without a vehicle up to a year. Dealers are aware of the situation. No warnings are shown prior to a total power loss failure. While driving home from work lights all over the dash lighted up and my truck was reading 9 volts. Luckily I was close to home and coasted into the driveway. My truck is now dead in the water sitting in driveway till when a part becomes available. I ended up leasing a car due to having no other option to get to and from work.

The instrument cluster panel went blank for over 40 miles, despite us stopping, shutting off and restarting, etc. We had no idea what speed we were going or any of the metrics monitored by the instrument cluster like turn signals, fuel level, engine temperature, etc. No cruise control. We took it to an auto parts store that captured the error code U0155. The RAM app on my Iphone also sent a warning that the blind spot monitoring failed. I will be bringing it to Champion Chrysler Dodge Ram in Lansing, MI, on 7/7/2025 and do not intend to take it back until this problem is resolved. While the instrument cluster panel went back to normal since then, how can I be assured it will not fault again and what safety protocols can I rely upon?

Component: Motor Generator Unit (MGU) — part of the eTorque system on 2021 Ram 1500. What happened: I own a 2021 Ram 1500 with eTorque. In the year I’ve owned the truck, it has broken down twice due to major electrical issues. Most recently, it has been in the dealership’s shop for over 3 weeks due to a faulty MGU (Motor Generator Unit). There is no estimated time for repair because the part is backordered nationwide. Safety risk: The MGU failure caused the vehicle to become completely inoperable, leaving me without reliable transportation. I am concerned this issue could lead to a loss of power or stalling while driving if it had occurred under different conditions. Reproduction/inspection: The issue has been confirmed by the dealership (Preston Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in New Castle, PA). They are unable to proceed with the repair due to lack of part availability. The truck is currently sitting on the lot. Warning lamps/symptoms: Prior to failure, warning lights appeared and the truck experienced erratic behavior. The vehicle would not start after being turned off for a short period of time, and the RF hub had previously failed as well.

Hi guys, I live in Central America, bought my truck new at the dealer in Guatemala that is Grupo Q, the dealer does not service recalls, nor does any warranty work. AS you can see with my vin recalls are still not done. I have gotten in touch with ram recently to check on this, also because the local dealer will not do any warranty work on my seat bottoms that have started to rip at 44,000km they started to rip at 5,000km. three months ago my ac compressor dyed. again no warranty, I got in touch with ram because my truck states 5 year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Ram US told me to get in touch with RAM Mexico and they dont even pick the phone and when a miracle happens they pick up the phone just to hung it up. I got in touch again with RAM us they escalated my case to a senior tech two months ago and no one has gotten in touch with me. Its obvius RAM sells outside US and does nothing for their clients.

The vehicle has been in the shop for a multiple cylinder misfire 5 times now. RAM has been unable to repair the vehicle. This poses a potential safety issue because it could happen while I am driving on the road and potentially cause an accident.

Digital cluster freezes, beeps, goes blank except for check engine lights, and then resets. Turns back on for a few seconds and then repeats the process. Digital cluster will do this non stop. I only have a few brief seconds to see my speed and fuel level before it freezes and goes blank. This is extremely dangerous.

Driving down the freeway, with no previous issues at 80MPH. Next thing the truck stalls and won't restart. Vehicle jumped and runs when connected stops immediately once unjumped. Replaced battery at 51,000 miles and vehicle runs fine. Concern is the alternator is not strong enough to power the vehicle if the battery dies for mysterious reasons.

Multiple warning lights for “Automatic Emergency Braking Unavailable Service Required” along with “Blind Spot Unavailable Service Required” this truck required 4 (four) trips to the dealer to find a resolution. Parts took 50 days to arrive so had to disable these important safety systems and continue driving. Blind spot light on passenger side mirror goes off randomly in heavy rain even after this repair. So while driving in the rain, it’s unreliable. Over 30 other reports of all the above issues on the RAM-RHO forums.

The MGU of the 2021 Ram Laramie (e-torque) is not functioning properly and hampers the safety of the vehicle. The MGU, which controls the alternator, will not charge the battery beyond 13.0/13.2 volts during driving. As a result, when sitting for several days, the battery will not have sufficient voltage to start the vehicle since it is not charged fully during driving. Additionally, the MGU is now making a strange bearing noise so we will see if a failure is imminent. Considering this MGU controls the starting of the vehicle during stop/start, and the battery is not charging sufficiently to ensure the owner is not stranded, I consider this a significant safety issue (especially when I live in a place with winter of 8 months). I have not seen any warning lamps, but the charging indicator/screen shows 13.0 as below normal.

Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 RHO (base trim) VIN: [XXX] Build Date: [XXX] Purchase Date: [XXX] Mileage at first occurrence: ≈ 40 miles (issue began immediately after delivery) Mileage now: [insert current mileage] Problem Description The instrument cluster (IPC) repeatedly reboots while driving or upon each key cycle. Every restart forces the odometer to reset and display 40 miles, erasing the accurate accumulated mileage. Simultaneously, the vehicle fails to retain any infotainment or vehicle-settings data (radio presets, climate preferences, drive modes, seat/mirror memory). This occurs 100 % of the time with every ignition cycle and has happened on every drive since purchase. Safety Concern A rebooting cluster distracts the driver, removes access to critical information (speedometer, warning lights), and falsifies odometer readings—potentially masking future maintenance intervals and impairing resale/title accuracy. The loss of settings can also disable previously selected safety aids (e.g., adaptive cruise presets, lane-keep parameters) without the driver’s knowledge. Attempts to Resolve Hard battery reset performed (negative-terminal disconnect, 30 min). Issue returned on first restart. Awaiting dealer appointment; preliminary research indicates similar complaints among early-production 2025 RHO vehicles and a possible IPC/BCM firmware defect. No official recall or TSB acknowledged for my VIN to date. Frequency Every ignition cycle; cluster reboot typically occurs within 30 seconds of start-up or during the first two minutes of driving. Infotainment/vehicle settings never save between cycles. Events & Dates [XXX]: Vehicle delivered; first reboot observed while exiting dealership lot. 06/29/2025–present: Issue persists on every drive. Requested Action Investigation into potential defective IPC/BCM firmware or hardware causing repeated reboots and odometer data loss on 2025 Ram 1500 RHO models built in April 2025. I was parked and attempted to leave and put my truck on drive. The shifter known would not go into drive mode. I kept getting an error code to “Service Shifter” after multiple attempts the truck went inky drive mode and I drove home with the error code to “Service Shifter”. When I arrived home to back into my drive way, the truck would not go into reverse. I sat in the middle of the street for an hour before the shifter released into reverse with the same error code. I drove the truck to the dealership where it was purchased and was advised not to drive the truck due to the danger of the shifter and the truck could possibly stay on drive/reverse mode when driving. My truck had been at the dealership for 15 days and I have been told that the shifter has been replaced 3 times, and the electrical relay is not responding. I am told that the Ram specialists are trying to determine what the problem is and have been contacted and can connect to my trucks electrical system. I was told that a Transmission Control Module is being ordered for replacement. The Service Dept Manager stated that this is a new problem with the 2025 Dodge Ram and ALL the Ram Specialists are baffled.

The truck has been to the dealer on multiple occasions because I continue to receive airbag system alerts. When the alert comes on a warning displays on the console that the airbag system has malfunctioned. The dealer states the clock spring needs to be replaced. I’ve been waiting since November 22, 2024 for the part. It is now June 27, 2025 and still don’t have the part. I experience the alert on my console at least 3-5 times a week.

When attempting to merge with traffic and accelerate quickly the transmission occasionally will stay locked in a lower gear leading the engine to stall out causing a collision risk. This usually occurs when attempting to accelerate quickly. When accelerating from a stopped position, there is a delay in power which requires the operator to time their merges in anticipation of this problem. This also caused the vehicle to lurch forward adding to the risks of accidental collision.
