The 2023 rogue has a known problem of smelling like fuel after driving. I have had multiple service calls. They have replaced a hose and other things. But they have failed. There is now a recall for most of these cars but my VIN number is not on the recall list even though I have experienced this problem for years at this point. The service department cannot change the necessary hose because it is not on the recall list.

I had my vehicle repaired in March 2025 due to significant gas fumes in the cabin while driving. I had it repaired three months after purchasing it. I am now have concerns about the gas fumes in the cabin while the air conditioning is on to the extent that it caused me to physically get sick. each and every time my windows are completely closed and I have the air conditioning on. It can smell significant amount of gas fumes in the vehicle. If I’m at a drive up window, I open my window. It increases the smell while idling

Battery had to be replaced during 1st oil change. Transmission failed at about 30,000 miles and was replaced. Transmission light went on again we were told it was the transmission it was the gear shift assembly (claiming something spilled in it - not true). Not covered and would cost $1350... charged $260 for diagnostic. Had repaired separately, Transmission light is still on. Claiming not covered under warranty even though car has about 80,000 highway miles. I think this car may have an undying electrical issue and our safety is at risk.

Hi [XXX] , just wanted to let you know that the mount is approved through your warranty but you do have a $100 deductible from them. Tire and mount are here in stock. --Whitney Flanders Nissan of Orange Park When I was told two days ago by the service advisor that this has been a big issue with all Nissan rogue’s the transmission mounts having issues she said herself it’s a recall and now I am having to pay out of pocket ! Also this is the third time I have to have my tires replaced in 5 months of time this last one was brand new tire but dry rotted ! I will be getting a legal advisor involved as well as Better Business Bureau . I have missed work due to this issue where I have sat at the dealership for hours and they don’t carry the tires on hand but they offer the lifetime warranty we pay out of pocket each month for through the dealership !! - #11667826June 18, 2025BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS, BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
I purchased a brand new 2025 Nissan Rogue on June 4, 2025, with the expectation that its ProPILOT and Safety Assist features would function reliably under normal driving conditions. However, just three days after purchase, a warning light began appearing that reads: “Warning: Driving Aids Temporarily Limited.” This message occurs randomly and under regular driving conditions, without provocation, and causes the ProPILOT/Safety Assist systems to disable themselves entirely. At the time this first occurred, the vehicle had only been driven a few miles and had been kept in clean, well-maintained condition. I contacted the dealership immediately and scheduled a service appointment for June 16, 2025. In the days leading up to that appointment, the issue continued to occur unpredictably, making the driving experience both frustrating and unsafe. The vehicle has now been in the dealership’s possession for multiple days (as of June 18, 2025), and no resolution has been found. The technicians have not been able to diagnose or correct the issue, and I have been left without a functioning vehicle. This problem was not disclosed prior to purchase, and the repeated system failure of essential safety features is unacceptable, especially on a brand new car. The inclusion of advanced driver assistance was a primary factor in my decision to purchase this vehicle. Having these systems work only intermittently presents a significant safety risk to myself and others on the road, and undermines the integrity of the vehicle's advertised capabilities. I am filing this formal complaint to document the issue and request prompt action and resolution from Nissan Consumer Affairs and NHTSA.

This vehicle was sold by Copart with a clean title despite prior federal NMVTIS junk/salvage reporting and insurance loss. The salvage record was concealed from the buyer and not properly disclosed by the seller. There is a pattern involving Copart, Hertz, Progressive, and other companies hiding salvage data, VIN laundering, and reselling unsafe vehicles. I have extensive evidence including title copies, NMVTIS records, and photos, in a secure Drive link: [XXX] . Please investigate for safety and fraud. I was sold a 2023 Nissan Rogue last July From *** Nissan of Topsham ME. that had a faulty main seal/head gasket which allowed exhaust, coolant and freon vapors to be blown into the car effectively creating a gas chamber. 31 days after my purchase at service appointment to fix defroster I was told "all the coolant leaked out of the resevoir and we don't know where it went, you should keep an eye on it". I was never told further diagnostics were needed at that time however once I realized what was going on and decided to file a complaint with the Maine attorney general's office, I looked over paperwork from visit that day and mechanics notes stated "coolant may be leaking into engine further diagnostics are needed". Let me explain that I am a courier and drive my car all day every day staring and stopping it as I make deliveries. I drove the car around poisoning myself with fumes for 7 months. I began to feel ill in November when I started using the heater more. I was completely exhausted (literally) and didn't know why. I also was having cognitive difficulties and sleeping 10-11 hours a day. In Jan 2025 I developed white spots on my tonsils and the back of my throat felt as if it was scorched. I began having uncontrollable muscle twitching and my hair and eyelashes were falling out, I still did not realize what was wrong. At the beginning of Feb. I smelled strong fumes, I immediately brought the car to ******Nissan in Las Vegas NV. where I was at the time, I left the dealership that day having been told once again "we don't know what's wrong". I have come to learn that both dealerships knew what was wrong and were just ignoring the problem. The car had the engine replaced not once but twice, the first engine had no compression, the 2nd also had the same terrible smell. I have been poisoned and lied to. I now have multiple health issues. Car surrendered [XXX] ********** C.U. Westbrook ME. All paperwork to support claim available. PLEASE HELP! INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATIO

in forward motion a loud griding noise on drivers side was noticed. Stopped at a repair shop and told the calipers are bad. Nissan has a recall for the rear brake calipers for failure, but we were told that our VIN. number does not apply, yet they failed less that 100,000 and the front calipers are original. Front should fail 3 to 1 to the back... the back should not have failed. Nissan Corp. did not want to entertain out complaint. Nissan Case# 55061723

While driving and accelerating from 60 to 70mph the engine chugged, lost power. I was thankfully able to get to the side of the road safely and my child was not in the vehicle. As soon as I got it to the side of the road the engine emissions malfunction, the low oil pressure and both safe indicator lights for the rear and front crash came on. A message popped up stating: emissions malfunction power reduced service immediately. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership. As on currently, almost a week later, the dealership still does not know what happened.

I was driving and the accelerator pedal got stuck and it started to increase my speed. I kept pressing on the pedal and it still was not working. I had to step on the brake pedal several times, like 5-6 times before the accelerator finally became unstuck.

When parking, my car keeps automatically applying brakes. I have turned off this setting yet. It continues to happen. Safety is at risk when my car stops in the middle of the street instead of continuing to back up. Cars following behind me are unaware that my car will randomly break. I have not reached out to a dealer with these concerns and have yet to get an inspection.

I am reporting a recurring issue related to the oil drain plug design on the 2023 Nissan Rogue. During a routine oil change service, the technician at Midas broke the oil pan drain plug, resulting in the need to replace the entire oil pan. This was not due to technician negligence, but rather a reflection of a poorly designed or overly fragile drain plug and oil pan combination that is prone to damage during standard maintenance. This is the second time this has occurred, and it has become clear that the design lacks durability and fails to withstand the basic functions required during oil changes. Although Midas covered the replacement this time, this is not a sustainable solution, as owners should not be expected to risk hundreds of dollars in damage during a basic service procedure. There are numerous reports online of similar issues affecting other 2023 Nissan Rogue owners. This appears to be a design flaw that could lead to repeat incidents and unnecessary financial burden for vehicle owners. I am seeking acknowledgment of this issue by Nissan and a permanent resolution, whether through a redesigned part, recall, or official service bulletin.

Hi Team, I own a certified 2021 Nissan and am currently experiencing a water leak at the top front corners of the windshield. The vehicle has already been inspected for potential windshield defects and clogged drains, but no issues were identified. Upon further research, I came across Technical Bulletin NTB21-097B, which describes a similar issue occurring in many 2021-manufactured vehicles. Although my vehicle's VIN does not currently show any active recalls related to this bulletin, the symptoms are consistent. This leak is also affecting the driver and passenger side airbags, which poses a significant safety risk in the event of an accident. Given the circumstances, I kindly request that you review this case for coverage under the scope of the bulletin and advise me on the next steps. Thank you for your attention and assistance.
