I was driving down the road alte at night on a completely empty road. All of a sudden I heard what sounded like a gun shot hitting glass. I looked in my rearview mirror and noticed my rear windshield was completely shattered. There was no rhyme or reason for it to happen. Just out of nowhere.

Transmission/ motor mount went out at 80k, the issue was going on before hand where my car would shake violently. I had been complaining about it for months they kept telling me it was normal, come to find out my transmission mount is going bad. Now they want to charge me 2k to replace it, after the engine was replaced.

I purchased the vehicle about 4 months ago and I've only driven it maybe 1 month out of 4 due to being in the shop for multiple egr and throttle issues. I am currently sitting with it broke down once again for the same issues for the 3rd time. The engine loses power out of no where while driven and gives a warning that says engine malfunction power reduced and all safety features are then shut down. This leaves my car only traveling no more than 10mph. I was on the interstate!!

My friend went to start my car and she heard a large boom and looked back, and my back windshield had shattered and glass on the ground and inside the car. If I had been opening or closing the trunk it would have severely injured us. Also, there was nothing that had hit it, it was sunny and in the 80 outside. I had to go to Safelight and get a covering for it, while i wait on a replacement. I contacted Nissan and they said that warranty does not cover glass and that maybe something was already wrong with it. My windshield was perfectly intact until it shattered and blew out everywhere.

I am submitting a complaint regarding a serious water intrusion issue with my 2023 Nissan Rogue. My vehicle developed a severe water leak that allowed water to enter both sides of the vehicle. The amount of water intrusion is significant and has caused concern about possible hidden damage, including mold growth, mildew, and damage to electrical components. I brought my vehicle to Hallmark Nissan in Birmingham, Alabama for evaluation. The dealership informed me that this is a known issue and that Nissan has a Technical Service Bulletin, NTB21-097B, addressing water leaks at the top front corners of the windshield on certain 2021–2023 Nissan Rogue vehicles. My vehicle was only two days outside of the warranty period when I brought it in for this problem. Even though Nissan has identified this issue through a Technical Service Bulletin, I was advised that I would be responsible for approximately $684 in repair costs. I believe this is unacceptable for a relatively new vehicle with a known defect. A vehicle should not allow water to leak into the passenger compartment due to a known issue shortly after the warranty expires. This water intrusion creates potential safety concerns, including: Mold and mildew growth that could affect occupants’ health. Corrosion or failure of electrical wiring, connectors, sensors, and other vehicle systems. Potential malfunction of safety-related components due to water damage. Additional costly damage that may not become apparent until later. The existence of Technical Service Bulletin NTB21-097B demonstrates that Nissan is aware of this condition, yet customers are still being required to pay for repairs. I believe this issue should be investigated as a potential safety defect rather than treated as a normal repair expense. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this water intrusion issue affecting Nissan Rogue vehicles and determine whether Nissan should provide a safety remedy or recall for affected owners.

I was driving to work. I noticed what I thought was some gravel dust behind me. I got to a stop light and my car started shaking. No engine or warning lights came on. I shut my car off and started it up again. It was still shaking. When I pulled away from the stop light, I notice there was white smoke coming out my tailpipe. I immediately pulled over and called the dealership I thought it from and a tow truck. I haven’t been given anything official from the dealership, but the service department emailed me this yesterday: “Car was smoking from exhaust, pressure tested coolant system did not hold pressure, inspected cylinders with boar scope found coolant in cylinder 1, coolant saturation ruined the turbo and converter” I have now asked the dealership to do a “Metal Debris Test”

So by just looking up current Nissan recalls I was quite confused on how there is 2 open recalls on my particular model, but my car is supposedly not impacted even though I'm having issue and it appears to me that its issues are in fact related to the open recalls. The AWD malfunction light comes on and the car doesn't want to accelerate.

My 2023 Nissan Rogue was sitting in the hot sun and the rear window shattered. There was no accident or apparent defect in the window. It was simply the hottest day of the year (July 27, 2026) followed by a night time rainstorm. I had not even driven the car that day.

The left headliner above the small rear window is wet/stained after heavy rain or a car wash. I have had this issue previously with the front left headliner and the clips were replaced. The same issue is occurring with the rear left headliner now. The risk of mold exposure, water damage, etc. is high.

My Nissan rogue had a PCV valve recall and I'm still getting sick from the car. I've had it at the dealerships and they can't find anything wrong but the car is causing severe migraine headaches, severe neck pain and severe abdominal and pelvic pain. It doesnt always happen and there is no way for me to figure out what is causing It. I put a portable CO2 detector in the car and found nothing. It can happen with air on or off. I can't figure it out but it's making me and my family sick. I called Nissan and they told me to get a docto rs note that the car is making me sick to fbe able to o file a claim. I don't know how to prove the car is causing all the illness.

Warning lights keep popping up then something will go wrong with the car. A CVT malfunction came up and wouldn’t allow me to put the car in park then after I turned the car off it went back to normal. More random lights will come up they will all be different problems with the engine or system then once car has been off for a few it would go back to normal

Engine failure while driving, causing Engine Warning lights to come on as well as loss of acceleration. Safely was a concern due to incident occurred while on the interstate during rush hour traffic. Vehicle was towed to a Nissan dealership, who ran a diagnostic test and confirmed that the engine needs to be replaced. There were no Warning lights or messages prior to incident.

I attempted to speak with a service advisor at Nissan regarding my concerns and symptoms of the safety recall, I left a message with a service rep explaining my issue and still have not gotten a call back over 48 hrs later. I have started a case with Nissan corporate in regards to NHTSA 26V-080, I explained that I may be experiencing limp modes. I asked if I would be getting a free loaner and I was told by corporate, that would be the dealerships decision. This is a major safety recall and the fact that CORPORATE is telling me this is very concerning. Corporate then asked if I would like to be transferred to a dealership to make an appointment. At no point did either corporate nor the dealership tell me to stop driving and offer me a tow to the dealership. This is a huge safety liability for Nissan and I have documentation of all this. While driving it feels rough and I have had power loss and have not been able to go more than 25-26 mph until pulling over and restarting the car. These calls are on recorded lines and they failed to take this safety recall seriously after I explained my issue.

Bought this car brand new from Nissan dealership 7/2023. Had issues with battery, sensor (causing car to go into low mode), and now complete engine failure all in a span of 7 months. Towed to dealership, told need new engine/turbo cost: $9,462. Reached out to Nissan Consumer Affairs for support as this car has less than 100k miles on it. Told nothing they can do-not on recall. Did online research and realized the same exact problems I had, was the same problems that was in the other recall cars. My car should have been on the recall list-not sure why not. Did Nissan just pick and choose which cars to add because it is ironic my car experienced the same problems. I had 3 major issues happen to the car in a span of 7 months this year. I was sold a bogus car from the dealership.

On July 15 at approximately 4:30 pm my daughter's 2022 Nissan Rogue stalled while she was making a turn in a busy intersection. She was able to restart it and make it to a safe place to call a tow truck. There were no warning lights on my dashboard. The vehicle had just been serviced less than two weeks prior. The vehicle was towed to the local Nissan dealership. The next day the inspected it and determined it had overheated and coolant was entering the exhaust manifold. The technician noted that the coolant reservoir was very low.

The contact owns a 2025 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the Auto START/STOP engaged independently, causing the front driver’s side seat to move backwards. No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to two separate dealers to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the vehicle was unintendedly switching driver profiles, causing the seat setting to change. The contact was informed that the software needed to be updated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle needed to be taken to a dealer to be diagnosed, and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 11,000.
