SummaryWhile driving on gravel or dusty roads, dust accumulates at the lower inner edge of the door garnish. When the rear door is opened, the dust may be blown up and enter the cabin, adhering to the seats and the floor. This is caused by a large gap at the lower part of the boundary between the rear door and the front door, and air containing dust and/or sand is sucked up into the gap, accumulating at the lower edge of the rear door garnish while driving. To eliminate this concern, a mass production change is under study.

SummarySome customers may notice an abnormal noise (i.e. whine, groan, rattle or squeak) coming from the front combination lights when turning them on, or a few minutes after turning them off. The noise may be due to contamination by foreign matter during the manufacturing process and the fan motor bearing may become worn out during use. To eliminate this concern, the fan motor has been modified. NOTE: It is normal for some noise to occur within the first few seconds after starting the engine, when the front combination lights perform a self check (sweep).

SummarySome vehicles may experience a knocking noise from the front suspension when driving on a rough road or traveling over bumps. SummarySome customers may complain that the rear outer handle is difficult to operate or that it gets stuck when released after being pulled once. This is caused when the rear outer handle and the rear handle bracket swell up from absorbing water and the space between them is reduced, resulting in friction and resistance when returning to the rest position after the handle has been pulled. To eliminate this concern, the rear outer handle and the rear outer handle bracket have been further modified to secure space between them even if the parts absorb water.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit wiper blade contact with the A-pillar trim, with or without a chattering noise. This condition may be caused by worn or contaminated wiper blades. It can also be caused by bent wiper arms, or loose wiper arm retaining nuts due to improper handling. Improper handling occurs when pulling on or forcing the wiper arms. Technicians should be aware that while replacement of the wiper blade may resolve some cases, correction of bent components or repositioning of the wiper arms, particularly when the retaining nut is loose, requires additional steps to ensure proper alignment and function.
